Thai Season in York

I was staying at the Parsonage Spa and Hotel so decided to pay this place a visit for takeaway. Service was super fast (food ready in 20 mins) and the portions were generous. Quality was excellent, beating most Thai places in London and the price was very reasonable. After being a bit let down by the size and pricing of the food at the pub next door, The Fat Abbott, I had low expectations for other places in Escrick. But this really was a hidden gem and I'm looking forward to coming back to York to both eat here again and also maybe stay in one of the beautiful cottages they have attached to the restaurant. What a pleasant surprise!

Friendly staff, but mistakes with made with the order. We eat Thai food a lot and this was the worst we have had so far. We tried Rosa when it first opened and found it average at best. Years later due to high reviews we gave it another go, sadly. The curry was runny like soup with little flavour, and there was a sweet and sour flavour on the noodles like you get in a jar. Prices high in comparison to many places. You can do so much better elsewhere. Not recommended

My colleague and I popped in for an early (ish) dinner on a Weds night. We each had the early bird starter and main menu - my colleague the vegetable tempura and veg/tofu pad Thai, I had the tom kha soup and kaeng paneng. Everything was delicious, generously portioned and thoroughly enjoyed. With a beer and a soft drink plus service it was around £60 for the two of us so no, not the cheapest but we felt it was worth every penny.

Está en una de las muchas pequeñas calles de barrio dentro de la ciudad , llegando temprano por la noche que no habíamos reservado y tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una mesa, así que reservar es recomendable El restaurante es tan bonito en un glamoroso estilo shabby chic , recibimos una amable bienvenida y un servicio relajado pero eficiente El menú es fabuloso, sirve platos bien preparados, de gran calidad. ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestras comidas y volveríamos encantados, y para recomendar

Really lovely little restaurant, food was amazing, lots to choose from, friendly staff, very cosy, would recommend !!! Thanks everyone
