I really enjoyed my visit to the Charlotte Tilbury counter. All of the staff were lovely and really helpful. I felt like I was getting a truly personalised service and came away with new advice and some wonderful new products to use!

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, but kitchen not being properly run. Allowed awful dish (most expensive) on menu to be served. Clearly food not tasted in kitchen, beyond acidic and salty.

I was looking around the MAC make up counter as I was shopping for a new foundation. A lovely young lady came across to help me, she tested me out for a shade and found me the perfect colour match. I have always been worried and anxious about going to these counters to look for makeup. Ellie put my mind at easy and after sorting the foundation out, she then went on to finish my makeup. She did an absolutely amazing job. I left the store feeling happy, content and fabulous!! Well worth a visit. Thank you for making my day special.

Great customer service. I was able to find my match and get some additional advice on contouring. I was not ready to buy at the time and I did not felt pressured to buy at the time because I wanted to road test the foundation. Overall, I got a great feeling from the staff and I will continue buying products from the brand.

Fenwick in Coppergate York offers a super selection of high end clothing for that something special. Also, the cafe on the first floor is worth a visit. . Had a great breakfast, lovely coffee. A memorable experience and it's has three dedicated tables which are dog friendly.

Visited the Charlotte Tilbury counter this weekend and the lovely Tasha served me. She understood exactly what I needed and showed me some easy basic techniques to make the most of a simple make up look. Very approachable and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We came into the York store today to purchase make up, Anthony on the Estée Lauder counter helped my daughter choose a foundation and concealer, he was so so helpful. Really knowledgeable and gave great tips and advice. We will always come back now to buy now as the service was fantastic, thanks so much

Yeah it's fenwick very fancy, at the fragrance bit there is this nice guy has a good conversation with you and knows his fragrances, and have a grate selection of fragrances.

Beautiful store. But my review is for the lady who worked within the fragrance department. The lady seen that my daughter had fallen over outside and was quite wet and muddy and obviously upset. The lady took us into the store and cleaned her up then gave her some fragrances. A bad situation was made into a kind gesture. My daughter Lyvv thanks you very much as does her mum and brother. Love a random act of kindness so Thankyou ; you are amazing

Not as large a Fenwick as our local one, in Newcastle, but it is well laid out and, as usual, has plenty of good quality products.

Fenwick in York is the place to go if you are looking for quality brands and products-think mother of the bride outfits, race day etc It is a lovely department store- it’s not too big, but big enough to offer a good variety with quality brands such as Phase 8, Allsaints and Charlotte Tilbury. I prefer to wander around the clothes and shoe departments-items are well displayed and the staff helpful. The ground floor with lots of makeup brands is a little overwhelming but offers great choice. There is a cafe however I have not visited it so cannot comment on quality and choice.

Shopping with my daughter today in Fenwicks, York, was made an even lovelier experience with the help of Harley from the Yves Saint Laurent section of the Beauty department. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

I LOVE Fenwicks!!! But the one in York I have scored 4 out of 5 just because it is so small. The beauty counters are great & the staff are really helpful. I always visit whenever ai am in York..... lovely store 💞

It is good to find that there are still traditional department stores in towns and cities outside London. Fenwick in York concentrates mainly on fashion, beauty, accessories and high end gifts for men and women.

Top notch store for all your designer needs, fellas check out the Fred Perry and Barbour jackets coats shirts.

Nearest thing to an actual department store in York. John Lewis and Debenhams now gone so this is the only concession store there is for clothes. All premium brands. Lately they've added a Heals concession downstairs, limited range but well laid out.

Beautifully clean toilets here, whoever is cleaning is doing a marvelous job! A real credit to the store.

This place, for me, is an indulgence. I went for a coffee and hoped the bacon butties were still being served as it just passed the cut-off time for breakfast. The young ladies serving looked after me. My only problem was that my second cappuccino was only warm. This is not down to the service but the machine that produces the coffee. It is the same as my coffee machine at home. Nothing beats a boiled kettle, I guess, but it's nice to indulge in an up market store.

Fenwick is a modern well stocked shop over 3 floors. With fabulous restaurant and toilets. Just very nice to explore.

I came into Fenwick for a beauty treatment and while waiting, I ended up browsing the perfumes. Whoever the woman was who helped me with the Akro perfume was just wonderful. So helpful and kind, very nice to speak to. Honestly she absolutely made my day. She helped me with choosing a scent I might like and even though I didn't have time to purchase a perfume while there, I will be going back to purchase. Thank you!

A lovely traditional department store. Most of the things on sale are designer wear and as expected are quite pricey. Having said that, my partner found plenty of things to buy.

My daughter and I made an appointment for a foundation match on the Dior counter. The Dior advisor, Ali was very professional, approachable and knowledgeable. Ali advised us and demonstrated and make up application. The service was free , we didn't feel.any pressure to buy though my daughter bought a couple of items. Experience enhanced by a couple complimentay with a glass of chilled processco. Thank you Ali

This Fenwicks is extremely small compared to the Newcastle branch. I felt like staff either didn't care or sort of pounced on you about product. It does however have a personal shopping service which is nice for a smaller store.
