Amazing food! So well made and flavoured.

Don't be misled into thinking this is just a wine bar. Although their wine selection is impressive, they also provide superb food.

A nice place where we had breakfast, being served impeccably. Good coffee and great breakfast!

Fabulous meal at a lovely restaurant. The patatas bravas in particular were superb. Our waitress, Bri, was so helpful and attentive. I can't eat citrus, Bri helped me choose dishes that were suitable for me. Where there was lemon in sauces, she arranged for these to be served separately so that I could share all the dishes. Thank you so much to Bri and the team

Regular visitors with family but they seem to be losing there way with pricing and value for money. Will have to review inthe future.

We called in to Rustique quite late on a Saturday evening after going on a Ghost tour of York. We were welcomed in and shown to an upstairs table. It was everything we needed after a chilly Autumn day. The staff were great and the food was delicious. The prices , although not cheap, were reasonable for the quality of the restaurant and food.

Were largely ignored by the staff whilst we dined, the service was terrible and then we were charged £6 service charge for the priviledge of being ignored.

Visited Sunday lunchtime and had the shared Sunday Roast. Warning its not for couples with small appetites. Really well cooked with good veg and roasties. Nice amount of beef, chicken and pork belly. Also tried a couple of desserts which were excellent. Restaurant was bright and clean with attentive but not overwhelming staff. Service was good and prompt

My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing, mainly due to the poor attitude of one of the servers. I came here with friends to celebrate a birthday and wanted to light some birthday candles. The first time I asked a server if they had a lighter, as we wanted to light the candles, she coldly replied, "No," with no further explanation. What confused me was that every table in the restaurant had candles burning, so it was clear that there were lighters available. Later, we asked another server, and she was very friendly and happily brought us a lighter. The other servers were all very helpful and polite, which made it even more frustrating that only one server’s attitude was so negative, affecting our overall dining experience. While the restaurant's ambiance and food were great, the inconsistency in service left me with a poor impression. I hope the management can address this issue and ensure that all customers receive friendly and professional service.

Lovely experience first time attending recently - chocolate block red wine is beautiful and the fillet steaks were cooked to perfection I would highly recommend it

Had the battered sausage and chips takeaway... Freshly cooked sausage, and lovely chunky crispy chips! A bonus was being served by the charming Emily, who also graciously remembered me. 💯 per cent recommended!
