Loopy Scoops in York

Called in Loopy Scoops with a group of friends for absolutely delicious ice creams. The strawberry ice cream I had was gorgeous. Such a lovely welcome and great service. Will definitely call again when in York!

Tried the Wizard of york special icecream. It was magical, lovely swirled icecream with a caramelly flavoured edge with chocolate covered pretzel stick, chocolate frog, moon and star sprinkles in a sherbet dipped cone. Don't forget the chocolate coin too. Fast friendly service.

I’m loopy for ice-cream and Loopy Scoops has become a firm family favourite! On my very first visit long ago, I decided to PIG out on the Percy Pig Sundae. Deliciously thick and creamy Brymor Ice Cream topped with Percy Pig sweets, Percy Pig biscuits, Percy Pig sauce and even Percy Pig sprinkles. Oh and where does Percy Pig learn his spells? Why, HOGwarts of course! 😂 Since then our wizard family has tried all sorts, from the creamy milkshakes to the magical myriad of Brymor flavours, the sublime soft serve, waffles and more. As a lover of all things colourful, Loopy Scoops is like something that Willy Wonka dreamt up…with vibrant colours everywhere, rainbow cones, sherbet, sweets and candy that’s dandy. Oh and look out for Gromit and Feathers McGraw too! Staff are always friendly and helpful, and great with children. And with tons of flavour combinations and toppings to choose from, this really is a sweet spot for kids (and big kids!) and highly recommended. The Wizard of York (Wizard Walk of York)

I was in need of a bit of a palate cleanse (I’d been around lots of York’s eateries throughout the day!) and so popped in here for a cheeky scoop of mango sorbet before it closed. Lush!

Popped in to see if they offered any milk free/vegan options, and they did! My daughter was super happy with her vegan cookie dough and candy floss milkshake (her choice of flavours !) and didn't take her long to finish it! All the staff were really welcoming and friendly.

Amazing ice really enjoyed the food. Other people in my family had enjoyed it too And really recommend to all people. Well done for the amazing service!

The biscoff ice cream sundae I paid £5.95 was absolutely disgusting, bland and tasteless, the whippy ice cream those sundaes are made with is absolutely disgusting and tasteless, it has no flavour, it just tastes water. Mixed with the biscoff sauce and the biscoff biscuits it was still absolutely disgusting because of of how disgusting the whippy ice cream is. What a rip off. I will go to Mcdonalds for a Mcflurry next time.

What a place, when you walk in you’re greeted with such a warm welcome and very polite and talkative owner, she helped me decide on the cookie dough and I was not disappointed would definitely go back for more

Very bright and colourful shop with a very friendly lady serving. Tasty ice creams nice for a treat while on holiday. I ran out of days to try something else off the menu but will when I’m next in York.

Lovely icecream but felt £17.25 for 5 icecreams in a standard cone was very over priced. Will not be returning as way to dear.

What a lovely find this was!! The staff were amazing. They were so attentive and friendly, and really made my little boy feel like he was the most important person in the shop when they were serving him. And the ice cream was unreal!

Came here twice when I visited York with my girlfriend and had a Fanta float and a banana milkshake. Was very pleased with both the friendly service and the supa tasty treats. Highly recommend a visit!

So pleased with our experience at Loopy Scoops! We ordered milkshakes (banana is the BEST!) and a bubble cone and they were very tasty! The service provided was friendly and we plan to return when we're next in York.

best milkshake ... nope! Friendly team ... nope... fab find.... nope! Worst milkshake, I couldn't drink it was sickly and nasty... in the bin!! friendly team.. nothing special and defo not a fab find. the ice cream was basic, the cones were basic and it was all in all just not great Went over to Doh bakehouse instead. I'M BEING NICE WTH A 3

We all agreed that their ice cream milkshakes were fantastic, will be back to taste all the flavours. Rain or shine it will be milkshake o' clock for us. Also need to make time for the ice creams. Service was awesome, super chatty but efficient

Great visit today, very friendly team and great with our kids helping them choose. So nice to get a friendly welcome as soon as we stepped in. Will be back again soon!

Visited York with the family and came across this fab place. Late Sunday night when closed we were welcomed in. Excellent service, so friendly, great prices, so much choice! Excellent place to treat the kids snd adults too! Rainbow waffles were amazing, Creme egg sauce snd many others. Milkshakes etc etc. Definitely worth a visit while in York 5** 👍
