Nice Family owned business in the heart of York. Ordered a Nutella waffle, chocolate fudge cake and some milkshakes. Service was spot on and can’t fault the desserts. Would definitely return in the near future.

The delivery driver was really nice, we made him wait 10 minutes accidentally and he was lovely about it. He even left us some sweets inside the takeaway which was sweet of him.

From the cakes to the ice cream, the food at Zidane's is always exquisite. The portions are very good and everything is served neatly. My desserts arrived 10 minutes early and the driver was very polite and friendly. 10/10.

Very upset by this as we’ve majorly enjoyed Zidanes in the past, we ordered around 7:30pm, order got delayed which is fine but said it would be here at 8:50pm, it’s now 9:25pm still not here I’m really not happy and quite upset. Spent £13 on a dessert I’m not going to eat now as it’s too late. I have requested my money back I think it’s only right for this to be given back to me, I would rather the order got cancelled if I was going to be waiting 2 hours.

Took nearly 2 hours to be delivered and incorrect items that are also still frozen

Waffles cooked perfect. Ice cream tasted amazing. Wee bit more sauce on waffles could be better.

10/10 customer service I can’t thank the staff here enough for being so kind and understanding on the phone with myself today. I ordered online with ubereats just a small order of nachos and sweets, not understanding what came with the nachos and the process to have toppings. When the food arrived I was extremely confused so I decided to ring up presuming the fault was on their end (it was not). I’m not sure of the man’s names who spoke to me but I cannot fault his patience and explanation of the whole situation. The man I spoke to on the phone also kindly hand delivered some toppings and some sweets free of charge! Thank you so much again!! I will definitely be ordering again!

I ordered nachos on deliveroo. The picture speaks for itself, but if you want lidl's salted tortillas with chernobyls orange spunk in a pot next to it then be my guest. Anyone who eats here can quite easily move to india with no stress at all.

Ordered deserts at 8pm tonight and 2 hours later still not turned up, had to call at 9:30 to be told it would be leaving the shop in 5 mins and now it is 22:10 yet still no food and the phone has been turned off. No apology or anything. Extremely disappointed in zidanes!!!

Called up and asked what was happening with my order and said it will arrive at 10:50. It has not showed up and it says on just way enjoy your food and there is nothing here

Ordered at 8pm, 2 hours later and the food still hasn’t arrived even tho I called at 9.30 and was told it won’t be long. Very disappointed

These guys make their deserts with love 💁🏻‍♀️😝 never once have I been disappointed! From the creamy sundaes to the chocolate nutty cookie doughs, the freshest juicy fruits 🍇 🍌🍍 and not to mention all the decorate sweets and little extras. Infact it’s the only desert place I actually rate in York. Need that desert satisfaction filling then zidanes is your place 🫶🏻

staff are absolutely lovely! food is amazing and the portions do cover all your mates, was accommodating to changing elements to the food by request (eg swapping ice cream for another flavour) was super quick too

Really like zidanes. Usually always order the godfather cookie dough. However I'm insure if they have recently changed the recipe. The last two times I've got it, there seems to be chunks of dark chocolate on it. It's very sickly now when it never used to be
