We arrived on Sunday expecting Thai food ‘ we decided to order the banquet for 2 we ordered banquet b which was the most popular meal according to Ben the manager i have eaten in many Thai restaurants in uk and Thailand many times and this was by far the worst meal I have ever eaten . There was no seasoning it was bland and flavourless. I complained to the waitress and she said she would give feedback but never happened. We left the restaurant feeling empty and sent most of the food back .the following day my girl phoned up and spoke to Ben the manager and he offered a 10 percent of the next meal which was a insult. I will never return to this restaurant.

My wife had tandoori chicken on a bed of sizzling vegetables, which is highly recommended. Personally, I had The Greek beef burger, which I also enjoyed. The food was excellent. Carole was our server, very friendly and helpful. You can tell she's very experienced and seems to love her job. It is worth downloading the Sizzling app for collecting stamps for freebies. Also, we had 25% off main meals with Octopus Energy, so that's a plus. We'll definitely be going back. It's a popular place for sure. We were surprised just how busy it became whilst we were there

Just had drink so cannot comment on food, but always busy, unfortunately couldn't get a seat so only stayed for one. Been visiting this pub over 40 years on and off, after a few discreet refurbishments along the way, it still remains it's beautiful, typical old English pub. Dogs allowed too Which gets a big tick in my book !

A lovely location to eat in. After (or even before) your visit to YSP you can eat some tasty food here and enjoy some sweet treats afterwards. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was still possible to eat without a reservation which was lucky. Gluten free options are a little complicated - you are given a separate print out with a chart to try and work out what you can eat or not, and asking the staff, as friendly as they were, wasn't much help either as they didn't know what some of the items were on the menu unfortunately.
