Only had beer in here. Beautiful pub full of friendly people enjoying life. Great selection of beers. Really enjoyed it, will be going back.

Proper pub, affordable drinks, brilliant atmosphere.

Excellent choice of real ales, lager and cider. Friendly atmosphere and staff who didn't pull a short pint and knew what they were doing. Sky TV and pool table. Large outside seating area, half of which is covered. Well worth a visit and the real ales are cheaper than beers in most other pubs.

What a great traditional village pub, friendly staff and always a consistently good pint of Guinness.

Nice boozer in Horbury. Lovely staff super friendly. Great ales on tap clearly well kept. Outside seating area. No dogs inside which is strange these days, and separate vaping and smoking areas keeping the unclean away from the clean.

Village pub. Proper pub. Lovely feel to it. Decent prices. Great staff.

It's easy, good ale and people. Atmosphere brilliant and that's it. No food served but what do you need more than a drink and great company. Eat elsewhere, drink here. Enjoy. I've been challenged to try lagers and ciders recently and am impressed. My wife loves the range of gins too.

Excellent choice and wide range of Cask ales. High cellar standards all expertly served. Regular "Bar Propper's" reluctantly stand aside if you're persistent!

Called last orders got drinks 11 o'clock the staff turned a group away at 11.05 then a former member of staff came in and they proceed to pour him a drink 11.07 .I asked for a drink they said last orders had been called!! When I asked why had the former employee had been served the reply was it had been paid for. This pub is one to avoid. Miserable staff and rules for one not for others spring to mind

We recently moved to Horbury and we were looking for a bar or pub to enjoy a drink with the staff and for myself. James and his staff made us very welcome and it is a great place full of friendly people and a great atmosphere. There's a lot going for this place Great selection of lager's and beers Great selection of non alcoholic drinks and beers I was recommended the Erdinger non alcoholic beer and wow you can't tell the difference. Must be the best non alcoholic beer going. Lovely Huge seating area inside and out with exterior heaters Staff friendly and helpful Very tidy and clean place Run efficiently We have been here every time we have gone out so far and regardless of the size of our group we have been made welcome 😊 Definitely 5 stars Thanks for introducing me to the non alcoholic beer in the pictures. You can't tell. Beautiful tasting drink. Enjoyed a few games of pool this week and still a great pub and friendly atmosphere My staff enjoy coming here on a Friday after work 😊

Very busy full of local regulars. Has wide range of beers and other drinks to try. Very welcoming with superb staff. Steps at front door. Stepped access to toilets.

Great local pub. Good selection of ales and gins (and probably other spirits but have no experience with them). Friendly staff. Decent indoor space and great heated outdoor seating to accommodate both smokers and non smokers. Comes highly recommended

It was ok. Lots of bar flies which is usual for a Friday afternoon ?? Sat in the beer garden but more of a yard.

Great little boozer, good seating area out side in courtyard. Staff friendly and a nice pint, pool table was terrible i lost 3 times on it, but I think that was my fault for been poor. Would i go again, I'd make it my local if I lived closer.

Happy memories of Karl McGregor Brooks, Peter Oldham, Tara, David Tomlinson and Melanie Healy Wogan Phillips at university and friendly locals. It's a shame that's all changed now. Used to always be a great atmosphere. Nice gin and slimming world slimline tonic.

Was very nice pub I did enjoy it me and gaynor and her friend I did meet up with her I am definitely coming back to York. But maybe I will be moving there to live keep going here more often and I thinking about it first I will choose Horbury or Wakefield or Leeds I know my parents they love Harrogate so have to go more often but I am falling in love with Yorkshire
