Hemos estado viniendo a este restaurante durante más de 15 años, pero sentimos un cambio en las últimas visitas, y sospechamos que ha cambiado de dueño. Las primeras impresiones fueron que era tranquilo para un sábado por la noche, aunque un sábado por la noche de enero. Habíamos reservado para 5 personas y teníamos la mesa frente a la casa en la ventana de abajo. Esperamos un tiempo para recibir los menús, y para que se tomara nuestra orden de bebidas. Las bebidas tardaron una edad en ser entregadas a la mesa, pintas de Peroni servidas durante una escala de tiempo de diez minutos, una a la vez, por varios miembros del personal. Todo el personal excepto uno que reconocimos, eran muy inexpertos y no trabajaban con ninguna coherencia o continuidad. Los entrantes finalmente llegaron y una bolsa mixta en términos de calidad. Las gambas y los ñoquis estaban muy buenos, mientras que el pan de ajo con tomate era sabroso pero muy aceitoso. La lubina estaba sobre cocinada y el pollo (pollo gambretti) venía con patatas fritas, por desgracia debajo del pollo y debajo de la salsa. Sabía muy bien, pero la presentación pobre, y como usted come con los ojos que estropeó la comida. De nuevo se pidieron bebidas y de nuevo se tardó una edad en entregar tres Peroni. ¡Podría haberlos hecho pasar más rápido por la carretera a La Colmena! A menos que el servicio mejore rápidamente, los clientes se perderán.

We got Bishops to provide catering service for an office social. The food was very well received and great value (we went for package C). Shaun was very friendly and organised when we were making the plan. I would recommend Bishops to anyone and I’m sure we will be getting them again for an office social in the future. The mutton curry, Escovitch fish and dumplings were the firm favourites of a selection of very good food! Food provided was Halal and had vegetarian options.

An absolute gem of a little restaurant, been three times now, a really good menu and everything we've had so far has been exceptional and well priced, the staff are friendly polite and helpful and the dining room is quiet inviting and comfortable. Can't recommend highly enough.

Ranmoor Friery is easily the best fish and chip shop I have been too. My partner and I ordered the vegan and vegetarian boxes, which were absolutely amazing. So so happy to have these options available. The vegan curry sauce alone is 10/10! Lovely people, and amazing food!

Absolutely incredible food, lovely atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. You can byob for a corkage fee of only £3pp so can bring a bottle of wine and get a bit sloshed to make the food taste even more incredible. Came here for 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend, was very special. Compliments to the chef, best food I have eaten in a long time!

Absolutely 5* I can't believe we've not been here. 15 years old this year. Such good food. Tapas to die for. Flavours and combinations of amazing ingredients that surprised and delighted us. I love limes! The best pork belly ribs I've ever had. Due in large part to chef's stunning homemade barbecue sauce. Ask him how he made it! Be sure to have their green beans (perotos verdes). Soooo good. Waiter & chef available to guide whilst exuding passion and warmth for their food and guests.

Review – 2 April 2025 We revisited this restaurant with my parents, expecting the same great experience as before. Unfortunately, it was quite different this time. The Cornerstone Breakfast lacked the WOW factor that had impressed us previously. The portion sizes, particularly the beans, were disappointing, barely a tablespoon’s worth. After expressing my disappointment, we were given some additional beans, but it shouldn’t have taken a complaint to receive a reasonable portion. For £104 for five breakfasts and eight drinks, I would expect better quality and consistency. Given this experience, I’d think twice before returning or recommending it to others. *********************************** A Perfect Start to the Day at The Cornerstone @ Dyson Place I had a fantastic breakfast experience at The Cornerstone @ Dyson Place, and I can confidently say it’s a spot worth revisiting. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was exceptional warm, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive. I opted for the Cornerstone Breakfast, and every element on the plate was executed with care. The mushrooms were beautifully cooked, incredibly juicy, and packed with rich, earthy flavor. The poached egg was absolute perfection, firm on the outside with a golden, runny yolk that added a delicious creaminess to every bite. To complement the meal, I had a cup of their expertly blended coffee, which was a real standout. It had a deep, smooth body with a subtle burnt caramel aftertaste, making each sip a delight. It was the kind of coffee that lingers pleasantly on the palate, leaving you wanting just one more cup, so I did. We chose to sit outside in the courtyard, which was a wonderful decision. The outdoor seating area had a relaxed, welcoming vibe, perfect for enjoying a slow morning. Whether it was the cozy ambiance, the friendly staff, or the delicious food, everything about the experience made for a memorable breakfast outing. If you're looking for a place that serves high-quality food with fantastic service in a charming setting, The Cornerstone @ Dyson Place is definitely worth a visit.
