Went last Tuesday for the Grandson's birthday. What a hidden gem...the waiter was lovely..genuine & a laugh. There were 9 of us..the service was quick..the food is amazing. By 7pm all the tables were occupied..I did have to ask for some Italian music tho..😅..would definitely recommend..can't wait to go back..👌🇮🇹

Came.in tonight a group of 9 for my sons 20th what a fantastic night we had, the food was amazing and the bloke that served us made our night even better. Thank you so much will definitely be back 😁

Had a lovely meal for 6 of us. Nothing was too much trouble. Marcus was particularly attentive.

There was 6 of us went for a meal to celebrate retirement. The food was delicious, lemon cheesecake was amazing. From going through the door to leaving we were made welcome.The staff are lovely too. I suggest you book a table , you won’t be disappointed.

It was our first time here tonight and we were really impressed. We brought our parents who really enjoyed it. Great food lovely staff and great service, what more do you need. Mum and husband both enjoyed the pasta with lamb ragu. Dad had the salmon and I had the seafood linguine, everything was really tasty and well cooked. The creamy garlic mushrooms starters were gorgeous. We even saved room for desserts. Tiramisu, cheesecake and pana cotta, delicious. A lovely evening and we will definitely be back. Perfectly delicious meal - a cheesecake dessert to die for!

First time for me at Ferdinando's. Nice clean and warm restaurant, excellent friendly attentive staff, even explained what each of the specials were. Food was really good. Booked Christmas event there for 15 on the strength of our visit.

Execellent food and service. They cook everything fresh and were accommodating to my special diet need. Definitely come back soon.

There was a large party of us, as always, including young children. The staff were wonderful, especially with the kids, the food was quick, fresh and delicious. Couldn't recommend more highly.

A great night out with 2 friends here tonight. My pollo martini was really tasty and plenty of it. The service was very good and the staff friendly and polite. Would certainly recommend you try this restaurant.

Just popped in tonight off the cuff with no booking, the place was busy, the staff were very welcoming, the food and service turned out to be excellent, and the 10oz fillet was cooked perfectly... I would highly recommend a visit. ❤️

We’ve been twice now and the food, staff & atmosphere is truly the best. First visit was just my husband and myself, 2nd visit was with some family members and it was perfect for everyone. The staff go above & behind to make you feel so comfortable and enjoyable. Definitely my favourite Italian restaurant! Well done to you all that makes this restaurant a 5 star 👏👏👏

I would just like to say what a great afternoon me and my family had with the new owners at Ferdinando's today. I don’t normally do reviews but having a small business myself I thought it was justified. It was busy at 4pm on a Sunday but the staff were swift and the food very fresh. We asked for some chips for my son as it was around his tea time when we walked in and they came very quickly which left us with a near silent dinner experience from our hungry son. Food was so fresh and service spot on with the waiters making a fuss over my son. Lobster ravioli was very nice along with lamb ragu our favourite dishes. A little gem for Norton. Well done, and see you very soon.

We visited for the valentines set menu last night and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and even with it being a set menu I was able to change one of the options slightly which was appreciated. The service was brilliant with friendly and accommodating waiters. There was a great atmosphere, and we really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be visiting again.

Dined here on a Sunday evening. We had the chicken livers and baked mozzarella for starters. Followed by lobster ravioli and diavalo pizza and finished with lemon torte and coffee. Could not fault the food and the reasonably priced wine. Half price pizza and pasta so the bill came in under £60. Would highly recommend and will be back again.

Ferdinando’s is a traditional Italian restaurant now under new management with really nice owners. Marco the fantastic head waiter is very accommodating, looking after everyone and making sure everyone is happy. Food is as lovely as always, very fresh and cooked to order with a varied menu. Vegetarian options available and the chef will help make slight changes to the menu and accommodate certain dietary needs if possible. Thank you team for keeping this lovely restaurant open and providing good food with a great atmosphere.

Great meal and service, thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will be back soon.

Service absolutely fantastic we went on a birthday meal today and the food and the service was everything I could of asked for and more and the staff are all amazing!

We love this restaurant, always a fab experience.

We used to frequent this restaurant when it was on the opposite side of the road, which i may add was amazing. However upon my visit this evening i was really disappointed. The food was mediocre, the restaurant itself lacked a buzz which you can normally find in a good local but the major disappointment was the attitude of ( the owner) he was abrupt, slightly rude and just not invested in his customers. All in all the experience was bland, not welcoming and would not make me want to return. 4/10

Another great night at this little hidden Gem. Been going for over 20 years and you simply never get a bad meal. Superb.

The best Italian food I ever had! Started with the delicious Home chicken liver pate and a perfectly cooked Duck breast! Food combined with great service!

This restaurant is my local favourite and the food is absolutely unreal ! Staff have banter and don’t take life so seriously they’re always happy to help ! ❤️I would 100% recommend this place we have been coming for years now and the food is ten out of ten ! Don’t get how anyone can complain!

Really excellent meal tonight.. shared a tomato and garlic pizza base, delicious.. Mains were lasagne and lamb tagliatelle, both absolutely lovely.. my lamb dish was probably the best Italian meal I can remember ever eating.. Very reasonable prices.. We need to go again, and again! Thank you all the staff, we really enjoyed our evening! Repeating our review, because we had the same again and it was amazing, again!

Nice little restaurant, very good service and bring your own wine in the week.

Firstly the wrong order was delivered to our table. When we did get our main meal we had to wait 5 min for vegetables to arrive . We substituted roast potatoes for chips . Roast potatoes arrived no chips . We asked what had happened to the chips . They arrived nearly at the end of our meal and they were cut really thin as if needed to be cooked quick. Around us chips were coming out like proper chips. Two meals out of 6 were that bad they were left. On complaining no substitute meals came two people sat watching the rest of us eat. Two other meals the salmon was over cooked and the chargrilled carrots were burnt. When paying the bill they didn’t charge for the two meals not eaten . It wasn’t until later we noticed we were charged £3.00 for the small plate of chips which should have been instead of the potatoes. We left and had to go and purchase food for two people.

Ok quality food and decent service. Didn’t appear to have the same vibe prior to the roof collapsing but maybe the staff and atmosphere are slightly on the rusty side. I was sat right beside the front door and every time the someone came in I was either kicked via one side of my chair or I had a hand on my shoulder or a coat brushed across my head as I was attempting to enjoy my meal. I ordered lasagna for mains and couldn’t believe the size of it, it was a child’s portion (little Italy in Dronfield much better value for money) luckily my wife left some of her mains as she was full so at least I didn’t got home hungry. The meatball starter was nice but was only 3 meatballs and loads of sauce. Ice cream was nice but not much else to choose from. Probably give a few years before I go again next time as there’s many other Italians in the area which I know I won’t leave feeling hungry from. Don’t remember the portion sizes being so small prior to the roof collapse. By all means go if you have some rustlers cheese burgers in the fridge when you get back home, or just order 2 mains then you’ll be alright.

Excellent neighbourhood Italian eatery. I've personally known the Italian chef Franco 30+yrs he's second to none in authentic Italian food. The eatery is reopening soon , after major refurbishment, so pictures to follow ! Watch this space. Booking recommended 👌 I've been informed by thee owner the previous chef will no longer be there upon reopening , I will still be frequenting this local family friendly establishment.

Steak fillet, beautifully cooked, melt in mouth. Delicious apple tart and ice cream. Food is perfect, but also love the atmosphere here. Staff are doing an amazing job in covid times, hats off to them. Thanks so much for a great meal out.

Hi guys just a quick question has your chef changed eaten here many a times food always been 5 Last few times not as good at all and the chips taste really strange old fat taste Will wait a few weeks and come back hopefully to a better meal

Lovely cosy restaurant. So welcoming to our family; entertaining our children with fun magic tricks. We dined from the set menu which was very good value. Every person's dish was delicious. Could not fault the service or food.

Great authentic Italian restaurant providing great food..... tucked away in a Sheffield suburb. The staff and owner provided a great service. 2nd time visiting and would definitely go back. Prices were very reasonable. The owner's wine recommendation was spot on for the meal we had ordered! Would need to book otherwise you may be disappointed at not being able to get a table, as busy.
