The best restaurants in Whitley Selby Yorkshire and The Humber

A lovely evening booked for my 60th with many friends and family. The team were amazing, service was fab. Food was fantastic huge portions think we all took food home with us. Even the chef came to ask if everything was okay with the food, don’t get that everywhere. Couldn’t have chosen any where better to go. Thank you so much Nick and your amazing team. My husband and i had a lovely lunch today and we were served by the very friendly Tania.just as i was ordering our food a man came in and said "are these tables free" Tania said "i won't be a minute i'm just serving this lady: and with that the man said " you're very rude" and stormed off.Tania was definitley not rude it was him.why do some people have no patience! Janet and Peter Smith.

They only do Sunday lunch. They have one high chair, but kids are welcome. No outdoor play area. Lunch was really nice, especially the lamb shank. Would recommend for more adult eating unless you are not staying long with a very young child.

From initially walking the not the pub we was greeted with welcoming arms. Xx felt warm near the fire and the landlord and landlady were lovely xxx the food WOW XXX HUNTERS CHICKEN, wow full marks to the chef …… outstanding xxxx best food grub in our area xxxx football on tv… good beer and such a lovely and warm xxxx PUB WE ARE GOING TO KEEP COMING TO NOW

Estábamos alojados en el pueblo en un Air BNB que reservamos para ir al pub para nuestra cena. Buena hospitalidad amable con un buen menú y comida y vino a un precio razonable. El servicio era bueno disfrutamos de nuestra comida y disfrutamos del pub todos los lugareños que tienen un buen tiempo.

Have been visiting the hidden tea rooms for the last 3 years since moving to knottingley, this really is a hidden gem, Edie and her team are really friendly and the food is fantastic, really tasty breakfast and lovely selection of cakes

They don't do meals. But atmosphere is great. Lovely log fires. Locals very friendly.

We went for Christmas lunch there was nice atmosphere we wasn't even showed to our table they got the children's menu completely wrong this wasn't an issue but they where rude to us in regards to there error we was left completely to defend to our own devices. The carvery was cold and the apple and cinnamon crumble was disgusting, they had run out of prosecco and the fridges where empty the bar staff did not break a smile the entire afternoon we left without a goodbye thank you or anything very unpleasant experience all round

Great little garden centre plants look really healthy will be going again

We were served by Oliver who was extremely polite and also very helpful. Nothing was too much for him and he really elevated our experience !!
