The best restaurants serving British food in Whitley Selby Yorkshire and The Humber

They only do Sunday lunch. They have one high chair, but kids are welcome. No outdoor play area. Lunch was really nice, especially the lamb shank. Would recommend for more adult eating unless you are not staying long with a very young child.

Such a friendly homely atmosphere. The food is out of this world! Ordered Hunter’s Chicken and it was stunning. Quality and quantity amazing. Will definitely be back!

We were staying in the village at an Air BNB we booked to go to the pub for our evening meal. Good friendly hospitality with good menu and reasonable priced food and wine . Service was good we enjoyed our food and we enjoyed the pub all locals having a good time .

We took a bit of a detour from our journey South to visit The Hidden Tearoom, and what a great choice it was! So many delicious homemade goodies and a very warm welcome from Edi. The Scone-wiches (cheese scone with bacon, onion marmalade, cream cheese and salad) were fabulous and there were too many lovely cakes and puddings to choose from. Highly recommended.
