The best restaurants in Selby South Selby Yorkshire and The Humber

Always every so often treat myself to a bacon and egg sandwich for lunch to takeaway and have a cappucino while i wait inside.Todays bacon and egg sandwich as usual was the best i have had in Selby and pretty much anywhere.The staff and management are always friendly and lovely and polite and the food is spot on.Thankyou again,from Damon.

So, so helpful and friendly. Had my bike serviced. Professional job at an exceptionally good price. Would highly recommend for any bike repair.

Lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. Nicely decorated and child friendly with table service. We had their half size all-day breakfast which was cooked well and nicely presented. The coffee was good too. Will visit there again the next time we are in Selby. Very convenient for the shops.

Very nice food and nice staff. Kebabs and burgers are banging and fresh food. High recommend and will return.

Upon reflection, the pub just wasn't to our taste. We came in quite late and felt very unwelcome. There was a small group at the bar who were chatting loudly to the staff and we felt as if we were imposing on a private group. We were the only other customers and it just felt awkward, so much so that we left most of our drinks. We won't be back

A regular stop off whenever we’re in Selby. The food is fantastic whether it’s a quick snack, full on Sunday lunch or special occasion. Mat, Gemma, Di, Chaba & all the staff are polite, respectful and… efficient. An enjoyable experience. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Best curry in Selby, every time. Always worth it for the money. Restaurant quality at home!

Don't understand the below reviews, why would you go out to eat if you don't like noise? - Make it make sense! This place is insane, whenever we visit we feel so well looked after by the staff, especially Ben! The food is so delicious and a must visit for anyone! Pesto pasta is the one!

ad burnt beans 2 anemic sausages 1 egg..tea 2 slices of bread .11 pound .i left the lot never again .looking back i should have not paid ..17 march 2025...

Update 30/07/2024 - again closed at 1230 when the opening hours suggest it should be open. No idea what’s going on but I’m fed up of walking there to get coffee and it being closed. I don’t think I’ll bother again. Previous review: Really like coming for coffee here - I’d argue that their coffee is the best in Selby and the food is equally excellent. However, the last four times I’ve been with the intention of getting coffee they’ve been closed when they would normally be open with no notice to explain why, so I’ve no idea what’s going on or whether the opening days/hours have changed.

Went today (Sunday) had a beautiful meal. Staff all very friendly and the food was delicious. Will be back again :)
