Oscar Best Kebab in Selby

Was looking forward to my fish n chips from Barlby. Found it closed when I visited even though their website said it would be open. Got home n phoned them, Eagle Fisheries at Castleford answered, was told they had closed down Barlby at the end of September 😮 When I said the website hadn't been updated I was told it wasn't their problem, they only worked for Eaglescliffe.

Outstanding savouries. Great quality and good value. Very good cakes too. Won't go anywhere else. Definitely recommended.

I ordered breakfast and got there before 11, sat in the drive thru at the order box and WATCHED the menu change so I was definitely there just before 11 and when someone finally came to me it was just “well computer says no now”. I almost never have the opportunity to get breakfast due to my working hours and found this incredibly frustrating when I was literally there on time. If I’d chosen to park up instead it would have been fine which makes it their fault in my eyes and there was no acknowledgement of this. I know nobody cares and it’s just food but a negative review is all I can do to express this very poor service
