Sorry to say the wrap we had was full of gristle in the meat and salty. The garlic bread was dry and overcooked. Both ended in the bin

Disgusting. The chicken was burnt from the grill and tasted like nothing but smoke. The lamb Shish was full of nothing but fat veins. It was truly not fit for consumption. My wrap should not have been leaking the amount of grease it did.

Tried the calzone, won’t be buying again. It was soggy, too much garlic butter you could taste anything else.

Arrived piping hot, packaged well. Good portion sizes, tasty. Prices good.

Under cooked fries. Pizza was ok but not great and not cut properly again. Plus please stop making garlic flavoured cardboard even if it’s free. Not worth the effort. Not worth the money spent really

There was no cheese on my cheesy chips, food was brought 30mins earlier than I was told, and when I complained to just eat to get my order fixed, it took them 24 hours to bother reaching out to me. The wanted photographic evidence… it was literally a full day ago, the cold chips are in the bin by now!

Right so first off I do not always believe social media hype about a takeaway and secondly I am a kebab snob, so before I commit to buying kebabs I always ask to try the goods. The owner was willing to oblige. It was the perfect balance between lamb and spices. Since I now knew a tray of kebab meat was on the cards. I moved onto ordering a 14" pepperoni pizza. Service was prompt and pizza was served hot. The pizza base was fluffy and the tomato base was light. There was enough cheese and pepperoni to make it just perfect! With the free garlic bread, It was 100% bang on. Thank you sir for the lovely food and I will be seeing you again soon.

Amazing delivery for my daughters birthday party, i was concerned about getting such a massive delivery but they couldn't have done a better job. The food was hot and delicious and very easy to organise.

Food is usually really nice from here but ordered a calzone (never ordered one from here before) and the middle of the calzone hadn’t been cooked through, the cheese hadn’t even melted so was just a expensive tea for the dogs, a calzone obviously needs longer in the pizza oven compared to a normal pizza but they must not have thought about this. As stated never had a issue before from here

Put a pre order in for my tea rang them to ask for an update as it was 20 minutes late and the attitude of the shop staff was disgusting! Told me I should wait 45 minutes as they were busy when I tried to explain I was just wanting an update because it was late they asked me if I wanted it delivered at all then slammed phone down on me! Once food arrived it was cold tasteless and the chicken was burnt garlic bread was hard and didn't even taste how it was supposed to Will a thousand percent not be ordering from here again! Vile

Ordered a Donner pizza and got a medium donner kebab kept and ate it. Prob one of the best I have ever had and loads of meat well done guys.

This is the only kebab house in Selby we use. Delivery is quick and the food is great. Try the pizza chips and the garlic mushroom bread. Yum yum.

Very cold !!!! Didn't believe me when I called straight after delivery

I ordered food for a certain delivery time, allowing for a full hour preparation time and on arrival the food was cold. When I called to try and complain about the situation the operator refused to believe me.

I have always ordered the same dish for a while and fancied it. Top-notch food as always!!!

We were regulars a while ago, but I feel a little short changed now. Ordered a large Doner and a large mixed Doner and chicken kebab. The large mixed kebab came in the same size box as the chips, which was a downer because the large Doner came in a big box and was full.

I’m a vegetarian and ordered a cheesy garlic bread with mushrooms. When I came it had small cubes of meat on it. Looked a mess too.

The best pizza in Selby and their burgers are made with good quality meat, not gristle and sinews as are most other burgers in Selby! They usually deliver very early and the delivery staff are very kind and amusing. They deliver free garlic bread with every order so there is usually too much food! Great quality for a low price and I would nor order from anywhere else now.

Pizza did not arrive. 3 different people Said they called, they didn’t, said delivered to wrong address, then said did deliver and left on step. All lies do not trust, refused to resolve. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR

The best pizza shop in Selby. No joke. The food is always hot and tastes so good. It is a really quick cook to delivery time, even on weekends. The staff are so nice and friendly. I am a regular customer and I recommend these to anyone. Beautiful food.

They forgot my drink and the delivery person said she would come straight back with it (only living a minute away), I called the restaurant 15 mins after and said she was on her way and then 45 mins after then showed up

Very nice Donner Kebab. Got a large one and it was HUGE, to much for me to eat, so the dog got a kebab as well, and she said it was lovely. One thing though, I could have done with 2 pitta breads but couldn’t find them on the menu to order a extra one. Might be a good idea Star Pizza Hot to list them on the menu. Highly recommend folks 👍👍👍👍👍

impressive menu with excellent packaging, but pizza not piping hot ( should have been kept on top of oven) generous toppings but hardly any cheese, let alone pizza sauce. Overall dryish pizza but well cooked under. Taste was mediocre. Objective review.

Tonights Food was fantastic, piping hot and very tasty. Opted for the family deal for 4 of us, what came would of easily fed a family of 6! There was that much food.

I came across little Gem on google and thought “ill give it a try” By far the best takeaway i have had since moving over this way! The Pizza was perfect, the burgers were fresh and loaded with salad. I Wish you delivered to Carlton but nevermind i will make the journey.👍👍👍

Couldn't fault the food, Arrived hot packaged well and very generous tasty portion. Only criticism was scruffy delivery driver holder a lit cigarette in his hand as he passed our food, luckily food was packaged well enough to not smell of cigarette smoke.

Chips weren’t fully cooked and the pizzas were awful, far too greasy on the bottom and dry on the top making it hard to swallow. The pizza dough May as well have been bread, it was not pizza dough. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Worse pizza I’ve had in years. The delivery was 20mins late, we ordered thin based but it was think and stodgy and the topping was totally bland. We both had 2 segments each and chucked the rest in the bin. Will deffo not be ordering again!!

The app said it had been delivered , had to ring said was a mix up so would be 15 mins…. Which it wasn’t , nearly 90mins late

The food is delicious and I recommend the Kobe burger to all. It is good quality meat, much better than the gristle you would expect from other take out restaurants. The staff are very friendly and the delivery is always fast, usually around 30 minutes but my order was delivered in 25 minutes last night. Fantastic!

This has got to be the worst meal iv had from here..... Donna meat was dry and paper thin and was tastless. We were also missing garlic sauce that I payed extra for. My son had a chicken burger from here a few months ago and it had a bone in it! Will not be ordering from here again!

Brilliant food, ordered 2 pizzas and got an extra which was amazing. much preferred to the garlic bread we always get which we don’t eat.

Pizza was ok but ordered chorizo and chicken got salami and chicken. whoever cut the pizza needs lessons on how to equally divide a circle into 8.

The chicken burger was so over cooked and dry I couldn’t even eat it. Pizzas was really greasy. Garlic mayo was to runny and had an unpleasant taste. The cheesy garlic bread was the nicest thing about the order. Wouldn’t order again.

Had takeaway last night from here came late and found out this morning my partner and my 2 younge daughters age 4 and 1 have food poisoning not happy at all

Woke up this morning after ordering from yourselves to fine my daughters throwing up uncontrollable and really bad diarrhea to then ringing 111 to find out they both have food poisoning really not happy definitely won't be ordering here again 😑

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER. We ordered at 7.30pm, told it would be 20 mins, rang after 45mins to be told it was at the other side of town but they will get it over to us (10 min journey) rang again after 30 mins they said it was cold so they were remaking fresh, in meantime driver came with original order, we paid but when we opened it there was meal missing, by this time it was 9.15. I rang and they said they’d send right now. At 9.45 I rang again to ask about them only to be accused of them “sending two orders to you and why are you doing this when you’ve already had your food” and hung up on. Fuming was not even close. I would never do that to any business ever. Then they wouldn’t answer the phone. At 10.10 my meal arrived. Well it’s now in the bin as Id had a sandwich by that time instead. Just appalling customer service by rude, unhelpful imbeciles.

First time ordering here in a while. Food arrived quickly and was hot but unfortunately was really lacking in any flavour. The kebab was particularly bland. Also ordered the large kebab but only 1 pitta was sent…

Absolutely awful . My seafood Calzone was inedible as it was off . The smell was disgusting. The salad was soggy . The other pizzas were strange . Very spongy . £47 in total . We expected much more from this pizza takeout as it had 4.5 stars ….. disappointing

Seemed a lot of money for the amount we received. Thought with spending so much would have got a free garlic bread. Had better from other takeaways

Everything was great except that they'd placed the wrong sauces on the burgers; eating a cheese burger with sweet chilli sauce on instead of ketchup as ordered is not an experience I wish to repeat! Why they thought to put sweet chilli on the cheese burger and ketchup on the chicken burger instead of the other way around as ordered is beyond me. Oh well, if I order again I'll ask for completely plain burgers and add my own sauces at home.
