McDonald's in Selby

Breakfast r horrid rubber sausage rubber egg n bacon just fat

On multiple occasions this particular store has been closed early due to ‘maintenance’ they then proceed to start closing early on a Friday night which is when they are supposed to be open 24/7 and tonight they closed 10 minutes early, I went to go through the drive thru but they had already blocked it off so quickly I got out my car and went to go inside as they had not yet supposed to be closed yet the girl who worked there came to open me the door, I thought to myself “she’ll let me in so I can get my order”, that wasn’t the case. She simply told me ‘Sorry we’re closed.’ By then it was 11:54. They’d closed early yet again. Can’t be saying you close at 12:00 if in reality you’re closing at 11:50, unacceptable.

I ordered 2x McRib meals at the drive through. Didn't realise until I returned to work with them that they gave me 2x McCrispy. Receipt also said McCrispy, so my bad too for not checking, but should I really need to baby sit McDonalds staff every time I order? On top of this, the fries were disgusting. They had clearly been sat keeping warm for some time because they were chewy. The lot went in the bin. The McCrispy would be better named McSlimy due to too much of whatever that horrible sauce is they use.

Usual McDonald's, no frills food

Quite decent MacDonalds. Nice friendly staff. Still make the odd mistake with orders but they all do that. Can get very busy so go early. Note, no table service here - disappointing.

Megan and Danielle was very helpful and polite. The girl at the pay point was cheerful and it makes a change from other visits. I explained that what I needed to suit my needs and was more than welcome to help out. I'm not sure if it was Megan or Danielle at the pay point but she is a keeper for mc Donald's selby. Thanks for being pleasant 👍 it doesn't cost alot to be like this.

Had to wait 35 minutes in the car for my drive thru order. All food cold, no syrup for pancakes, sausage burnt, foot soaking wet from the rain

It's fast food, that's it! Fills a hungry space while shopping!

Don't seem to be interested in walking in customs more focused on uber couldn't get what we wanted tables not cleared off or wiped

In my opinion, this is one of the best places where you can eat something quickly and relatively safely, it's just a shame that the prices are no longer low! I have no complaints though and I recommend it👍

i have nothing bad to say about this fabulous maccies, apart from the fact when i walked in the toilets i saw young sheldon looking for something but he was in the toilet, i tried being sneaky by taking a photo but i made direct eye contact with him, after i took the photo he started chasing me out the bathroom, bare in mind this is the female bathroom, im not very sure what he was doing there, but when he chased me out he screamed bazinga at me and i started crying😥

No dips at all with my mcnuggets.

Been told on the app that the food had been delivered but no food delivered. Tried to call the restaurant 36 times so far and it’s always busy. Not impressed at all. There’s no one to contact about it either which is a major issue.

Chips cold burger cold milkshake and Oreo McFlurry not delivered

Gave me food poisoning my chips were did not deliver my milkshake my burger was cold and tasted like cardboard delivered an Oreo frappe instead off an Oreo McFlurry this is the 2nd time they have got my order wrong won’t be ordering again!! £20 wasted !!

Like the food, especially the breakfast menu.

Ordered a double big mac with bacon meal got home to find no bacon

He got there as soon as we got there which made it a 5 star delivery time haha

Destroyed the toilet early 26/07/2024. Bathroom was spotless till I got in there. Would recommend the disabled/Baby change facility to drop your back. No bog brush to clean up the toilet. Feel sorry for the dining area lady. 10/10 would destroy again

Lewis at Selby store is one of the best people I have ever seen behind a counter, such a respectable polite young man and was so engaging when ordering food. Would highly recommend for a management role

had a message to say it would be delivered 6.20 but was delivered 30 mins later. The food was cold when it arrived.

Not our usual place to eat but we were invited to our grandson's birthday tea. We both chose chicken and bacon salad because we're not keen on fast food but were very disappointed. The chicken and bacon was acceptable but the salad was pathetic. A lot of lettuce and not much else. I literally had one slice of tomato and 3 half slices of cucumber. Apart from a tiny piece of raw red onion that was it! Never again!

You know what you are going to get at McDonald's. We got it and it was OK.

the order didn't go through after 4 attempts at 6pm then I drove all the way to Macdonalds and ordered there then 3 hours later the failed online order was delivered after we already ate. ridiculous and shady

We received our order on time, however there were food missed on the order which meant some people didn’t get to eat. This is the first time I’ve used just eat to order McDonald’s and I definitely won’t be doing it again.

Order 2 burgers and chips at 8.30pm didn’t arrive till 10.10pm. Food all cold and McFlurry melted.

Hot food was almost cold, so had to heat in oven. Milkshake was good though

Food was edible but not hot, my nuggets were soft and had no crunch to them the chips were cold and soft but some were stale overall a solid 3/10 just because you gave me the correct sauces but u didn’t put salt in which is what I asked for

said it would be here at 11:30 but came at 12:25. The food came and it was freezing. i also ordered my burger without pickles and it came with pickles. i order from here alot and its never this late

I've requested a refund I rang the restaurant twice she told me it was cooked and waiting for driver 1 hour later I called again to be told there were no just eat orders in the restaurant and must have gone I then called 20 minutes later to be told if I came to the restaurant they would re cook it for me and just as I was getting in the car it turned up, my kids were starving and should have been in bed. absolutely appalling service! 2 hours

Useless staff, always cold food and laughing with each other, always missing something in order. Food is always messed in bags. Better to shut down and give chance to Burger king or Kfc. Waste of time to go there.

I was supposed to receive 7 dips alongside this order. Unfortunately, I received none. This is not the first time the restaurant forgot to pack the dips for the delivery driver and it unfortunately ruins the experience.

It was our first time ordering and sorry to say we won't be again, everything was clap cold!!

Will never ever use Selby Maccies again - cold food bad service throughout (if nearby save your money and go to Goole - where it’s 5star hot food great customer service overall a really good experience)

Great service and excellent atmosphere. However, if you're at the counter, the preparation station has grease splashes on the counter and walls. Also, there is food on the floor.

Not one person wearing a hair net,females touching their hair and face and then packing food not once washed their hands,a staff member was rude to another customer because his pop was half full n asked for it filling properly making hand remarks and sneering at him,the only positive I can make and it was the lady on the floor cleaning the tables. The burgers we ordered were just thrown together and squashed all over the wrapping the new buns were chewy very disappointing visit.

I was influenced by your current tv ad to place an order. The fries were cold, so I had to heat them up in my oven.

Food is to standard. Delivery took awhile though, almost an hour.

I really don't know why we bother going here. Every single time they don't get the order right. Today two happy meals (chicken nuggets) didnt have nuggets but cheese bites... Not what we ordered or paid for. Every time!! Never again

Just got a breakfast meal deal, parked only to find no hash brown , how hard is it to put 2 things into a bag ? , idiots worst McDonald's I've been to , will be accelerate my complaint, just not good enough.

The usual McDonalds experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. It can get busy at times, but there's plenty of parking space if you wish to use the drive through.

Always seem to be getting our order wrong recently. We should take more time to check the order board before we drive forward. Our fault for feeling we should keep the line moving.

This branch of McDonalds regularly seems to be clean, well stocked and well run. On this occasion I had a McFlurry and a Toffee Latte.

Service was quite quick, despite the fact that it was a busy Saturday afternoon. Staff were polite and friendly, food was what it says in the tin - quality is standard and McSpicey was very tasty.

They missed stuff of four order yesterday, the “sausage” on the pancakes seemed like it was half missing. It was like it had stuck to the grill or something! We complained and they gave us a code to replace it. My husband drove 15 minutes this morning to collect. They made him wait 20 minutes to tell him he could have a free hash brown! The reasoning “People keep doing this!” Well if they did their job right, people would have no reason to do this!” Sadly the “just eat” customers seem to get preferential treatment. Mainly a bit of flirting ect! We are thankfully in the middle of two different branches and can simply choose the other when the pretend food addiction needs a hit! Truly awful service from what is already a below par brand!

Food orders are frequently wrong. Food preparation and quality awful. Staff and customer service appalling and very rude.

2 weeks on trott no fries in happy meal. Very slack service. Need to concentrate on customers not cash.

We called in here last year and my wife slipped and broke her wrist , She has since returned to her job for the n h s .... She has been off work for months . Macdonalds kindly offered her 3 X Ten pounds vouchers .. She still has a lot of Pain ............

Dont bother listening to the opening times. Says 5am. Every morning for 2 weeks i attempted to get a coffee. The store opens at 5:30am. Staff are inside, But wont let you order until 5:30. They also keep the drive through coned off until this time.

Local reputation has been restored. The worst Mcd in the UK. Cold fries, wraps open at the bottom so the contents drop out of the bottom AND apple pies purchased after 6:00pm to be sold pies (cold) that should have been binned 4 hours earlier - Disgusting.

Took ages for our food. Went to the drive thru but had to wait 15mins in the car park. Food was dry and over cooked apart from the fries which were under cooked. Not planning on going back to this one anytime soon.

Very busy at this time on a Friday. The staff were great and coped.

Again ..... 2nd visit. Food warm and the drive through was slow. Not using this one again. Two strikes for me.

Third or fourth time we have had take away from Selby restaurant and lost out. On every occasion we have ordered via the terminals, not received a receipt and then gotten home to find we are missing something. This time it was large cheesy garlic bites and portion of chicken nuggets. Think we'll give Hortons a try next time.

Not always the tidiest of maccys ,especially when college is out feeding,,,chips can be cold, but service is faster than some

Our granddaughter loves McDonald's we love talking her there for a treat
