This is a real hidden gem amongst whitby many other restaurants. Two friends and I came here looking for an option that my celiac friend could eat and the lovely ladies were more than happy to accommodate her. We had the chicken and pulled beef burritos which were stunning. Fresh and seasoned just right. The celiac friend had a naked burrito bowl which was also top notch. 10/10 for a place to nip into and eat

Llamé de camino a Sleights. Precioso pub pintoresco. Atendido por una amable y agradable dama. Sentado en el jardín de cerveza en la parte trasera viendo y escuchando a todos los pájaros, encantador y tranquilo. Un gran lugar para pasar una hora o dos, y a un precio muy razonable 😘

Si usted está buscando un buen bap de cerdo con salsa de manzana y relleno este es el lugar para usted. Tuvimos uno en nuestro primer día en Whitby y a la esposa le gustó tanto que consiguió uno unos días después. Así que un regular es £ 4 y grande es £ 4. 50 (en el momento de comprar) y es una de las mejores cosas que tuvimos que comer toda la semana. Así que llega temprano cuando se haya ido.

Tuve el desayuno "Mano de Gloria", que no era exactamente lo que esperaba. Todos los ingredientes estaban allí, pero tan pequeños y mezclados que no podía elegirlos. -Estaba bien. Su salsa especial se quemó hasta el final así que lo dejé, afortunadamente. Mi compañero tenía huevos en tostadas de masa madre y pidió que la tostada fuera de lado y no debajo de los huevos. Cuando llegó estaba debajo de los huevos. Se lo comió de todos modos. Mi café americano, a pesar de una máquina 'estilo Morgi' era un lavado desesperado. Pedí una inyección extra y eso fue dado. Cuando se trataba de pagar, me habían cobrado una £ 1 extra. 20 solo para que el café sea potable y a mi compañero le hayan cobrado 1 £. 75 por un pan tostado que nunca apareció. El lugar ciertamente tiene ambiente, pero la contabilidad final ciertamente carece de encanto. Mis socios £ 1. 75 fue reembolsada en su protesta. Dejé el extra para el café, pero sin propina, ya que no volveré pronto.

Approaching the window, you will enjoy the most exquisite and flavoursome of all ice creams. I have never tasted such a treat as good as this (and my vampyric palette is limited mostly to A+positive and similar claret beverages), coupled with the most personal and friendly service you will ever receive. Mr Trillo and his wonderful associates welcome all with open arms (especially those of a Gothic and Vampyric disposition). There are a number of locations and vehicles to enjoy the delights of Trillo's ice cream, so fear not, you are never far away from delight. My favourite being when the ice cream Land Rover parks very close to my crypt outside Whitby Abbey. Spectacular views will reward the senses, combined with ice-cream giving you a much needed treat for climbing the 199 steps. Mr Trillo, as always, I thank you for your wonderful service to the townsfolk, visitors and creatures of the night of wonderful Whitby. I shall see you soon... First visit. First impression delightful location. Extremely poor / processed quality food (not uncommon with many cafes/tea shops). Very small slice of cake and eclair with equally small dollop ice cream, cup of tea and mug coffee cost £12.70. As with the venue people seem nice. Accept dogs (which is great). Suggest review and improve quality of food and presentation. Leaving a used cigarette ashtray on table not indicative of professional service.

Absolutely wonderful food. We chose this for my husband's birthday while on holiday in Whitby. We no longer have a local Thai, so really wanted to treat ourselves. It did not disappoint. My husband is lactose intolerant and eating out isn't much fun. The waiter here knew exactly which dishes to avoid - which is pretty unusual. The waiter was friendly, knowledgable and funny and gave good advice about the different dishes. The food was beautifully prepared and so delicious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Even better, the food really was diary free. Out of the four places we ate in Whitby two were inaccurate about their food and made my husband ill. What a joy to eat somewhere where a dairy intolerance was not a big deal and the food was as stated. This is the first place I would come back to if we visit Whitby again.

Una visita para cenar después de un día encantador en Whitby, tuvimos las Frutas de la Mer y una botella de vino de un viñedo local. Ambos estaban absolutamente fuera de este mundo - hicimos un pedido de seis botellas de vino directo con el viñedo local porque disfrutamos mucho! El marisco fue excepcional - mi primera incursión en las ostras no decepcionó. Caramelo Apple Betty para el pudín y estábamos todos listos. Lo único que diría es que el servicio de mesa es malo. Los sirvientes parecían más interesados en limpiar las mesas vacantes que en tomar nuestro pedido de postres o traer nuestra factura. Lástima, porque con un gran servicio, esto podría ser una verdadera joya en la corona de Whitby.

Parada perfecta para una taza de la tarde y una rebanada de pastel. Nos encantó la decoración, la música atmosférica y la sensación relajada general del lugar. El personal era muy amable y el servicio excelente.

Me encanta este Bothams. Fantástico producto, tienda muy bien cuidada. El personal es siempre muy amable y servicial. Una mención particular al joven que nos sirvió hoy (14 de abril) un verdadero crédito a Bothams, muy educado, tenía grandes habilidades de servicio al cliente, parecía que realmente disfrutaba de su trabajo. Les deseo a todos éxito continuo 💗

Bought lovely fresh cakes from shop / staff very helpful and smiling faces and attentive. However based on that experience we decided to go upstairs to tea room for lunch on a wet miserable day (Tuesday 9th July) a small queue - one couple in front of us - lady (supervisor?) behind the desk asked us if we had booked, my husband said no… She continued to prepare orders, help cashier who was clearly inexperienced at using til and completely ignored us and the couple waiting in front of us. The tearoom was not busy, lots of empty tables … she continued to prepare orders, we continued to wait, not a word to either of us 2 couples waiting to re-assure us she would get us seated! Having waited for over 10 minutes on a quiet day - I looked at my husband and said I was leaving and would find another establishment who I’m sure would welcome us and be happy for us to eat and spend our money with them. Bothams can take pride of your shop and staff but less can be said for how your tea room is managed …. Won’t be going there again !! Did not like her manner or attitude - maybe she needs further training in customer care !
