Cosy cafe with chocolate. Coffee was expensive but good and came with a delicious chocolate. Hot chocolates looked great. Toilet was out of order so asked where nearest public toilet was but lady didn’t know. There’s actually free public toilets in the market hall around the corner.

This small restaurant is wonderful for a quiet venue with good wine and excellent food. The restaurant operates an open kitchen, with a small menu cooked fresh in front of you. There's no big sign for the restaurant and you'd barely know it was there if you weren't looking for it. The current menu is found on the gate post and I would recommend it to any Richmond locals or visitors.

Me and gf seduced by the cake in the window, drawn in with the 'Death by chocolate' slab of cake. Couldn't decide what to get as ALL looked appetising. Went for slice of that, slice of banana loaf and honeycomb/ white choc flapjack. OMG the flapjack was amazing... Stunning, soft, squishy and tasted delicious. Shame dont live nearby as would've gone back and cleared of them all :) Lovely place, smelt lovely, lovely staff and hoping come back soon. A gem in Richmond. Came back, bought nearly all the stock of flapjacks.. went happy! One of my fave shops

Don’t be put off by the entrance because up the stairs is a cosy restaurant (and takeaway) with some of the best Asian food I’ve had in England. The waiters are really friendly and helpful, and when the food arrived it was piping hot (temperature) and full of flavour. Each dish was a very reasonable price for the size and the Royal Lamb Achari and Tandoori Chicken Murgh Masala were full of tender well spiced meat. The largest crispest Naan I’ve ever had (see photo). It is BYO, but as soon as they spotted our bottles of Tiger, they happily produced beer glasses with no corkage charges. A posh environment it isn’t but cosy, attentive and superb food gets my vote. For the two of us, five dishes, plus rice and Naan were under £40.

Cute location and really lovely inside if you want to eat in. We've only had takeaways and they've been nothing short of pure unadulterated filthy deliciousness. The Roe Jogan and BBQ pulled pork loaded fries are unreal. Get one ordered. You won't be disappointed!

First visit to this excellent Cantonese restaurant. The service was great, friendly and welcoming. Very good range of dishes on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and very well presented. A lovely atmosphere even in the early evening. Only regret was we couldn't eat all of the food, owing to the fact that we were going to the theatre. Will be sure to leave plenty of time for our next visit as we will be returning. Thank you for the fabulous start to the evening.

I booked Sunitra’s for a Valentines meal on an overnight stay to Richmond. I’ll admit when we walked past during the day and saw it was up a flight of stairs and looked, well, quite ordinary, I had wondered where I had booked. When we arrived in the evening however we were greeted warmly and chose a table in the window. The place is tiny, only 7 tables so I guess booking is advisable. We ordered drinks and the complimentary Valentines glass of Prosecco was a lovely touch. To start we ordered the chicken satay and the spring rolls. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. For main we had the beef jungle curry and the chicken pad Prik. The beef was lovely, I’m not as keen on such a soup like sauce but it was beautiful. The chicken however was the star of the show and probably the best I have ever had. Spicy but somehow smokey and cooked to perfection. We had a fried rice and a sticky rice and complimentary prawn crackers. Two rounds of drinks which were so reasonably priced around £6.50 each for a large glass of nice Merlot and a mini bottle of Prosecco. The bill came to £80 which was more than reasonable for two rounds of drinks and exceptionally good food. The staff are an absolute delight and service excellent. Highly recommend if you are in Richmond for amazing food with lovely people.

Quirky for sure but very friendly and very keen to please. The soup we had was delicious and having leaf tea was a treat. Scones on the table is a lovely idea but a cover would be better. Lovely chat with the proprietor and really good at engaging with our whole family.

We booked day of for 6 people and they were able to accommodate this. Restaurant is deceptively bigger than it looks from the outside. The menu was extensive which lots of choices for people who like pizza, pasta, risotto, seafood, steak, chicken and even burgers. We ordered a variety of starters, pasta dishes and risottos. The food was delicious and plentiful leaving us too full to try their variety of desserts. Cocktails were large and reasonably priced . Overall a great restaurant if you’re looking for an Italian in Richmond.

Sat in alleyway due to having a small dog. Felt damp and cold place needs a good clean with cobwebs on pipework ...menu was wet with what looked like water leaking through makeshift roof with spray foam to seal it ... Homemade burger was basic very firm and dry not much flavour...dosent even come with chips they are another £3 for oven chips ..as pic ... Large cappuccino £4.50 ? Restaurant prices with basic quality food ...wouldn't recommend
