Top marks for Sunday Lunch. This was one of the best we have had for a long while. Semerwater was spot on for a pint. Lovely relaxing surroundings, cheerful fire, good service. Many thanks indeed. Just what we needed on a damp grey Sunday!

Charming ambience… subtle lighting… warm and welcoming. We had the smaller tasting menu. The food was superbly presented , delicious flavours with exciting combinations and seasonal influences… this food rivals the Fat Duck and L Enclume as well as the Raby Hunt but at a fraction of the price … Congratulations to this stunningly talented young chef and his team. The wines too were sensibly priced with a good selection to choose from…. We work in hospitality so feel well place to assess… we know what hard work goes into it to keep very high standards… An amazing place on the up and coming …. Amazing experience. It's clear Jake and his team are well drilled and very talented. I am by no means a food critic but I thought it was flawless. I ate food I would never normally choose on a menu and it was so good. The venue is beautifully presented with such a calm atmosphere. The front of house staff are very attentive, polite and professional. Your not just paying for food your paying for the experience, atmosphere and service. A true food pampering. Well done to you all.

Came here for Sunday lunch and I cannot fault any of it! the food was amazing although it was very busy the service was great, our food came out so quickly and all the staff were so lovely. Great cocktails too! Definitely a new favourite place and will for sure be returning soon. What a beautiful place it is

Not the best name, but amazing food - best we had in Richmond by a mile!

We had a pretty good Sunday lunch. The beef, nice pink and full of flavour. Homemade Yorkshire’s and a decent side of veg. Three courses for £30 not to be sniffed at.

We ate here tonight on the way home from the cinema in Richmond as we wanted something quick. The service was friendly but very slow. The food service was fast but it was the clearing of the table and getting the bill etc that seemed to slow things down. Most of the alcohol free drinks on the menu were unavailable (beer, peroni and sparking wine). Sourdough bread was unavailable so was substituted for ciabatta. 2 slices cut in half with butter was charged at £5.95! The chunky chips were pale and, we felt, undercooked. Overall… friendly service but too slow (especially when only 4 occupied tables in the main restaurant) and the food was disappointing. We won’t be back, sorry.

Dined here a couple of times before, normally great.. Although the food was good again, my poor review is based on the very poor ( and what i consider deliberate) service.. it was quite obvious a member of staff was going out if her way to make my experience a bad one.. Wont be going back…

I’ve been coming here for some years now and what a warm welcome I get after a two hour drive from Scotland. I always get the same, Oat milk Latte and porridge. Done to perfection. Karen who always serves me is a little ray of sunshine who always seems to brighten up my morning. Absolute five star service from Karen and the team. Always a pleasure to visit.

top quality Pasties I have had several traditional Pasties. they are excellent. very tasty several other varieties available plus sausage rolls etc. I don't drink coffee however my wife said her latte was one of the best. only negative being located at a motorway services the price is above reasonable.

1645 place is still open until 1700 but bathroom facilities were locked up and told they were shut sorry!! Unbelievable!!!

This Costa branch has some top class baristas who make the perfect macchiato. An absolute delight and a lovely surprise to find in a busy services. Thank you!

Worst KFC meal I have had - tables dirty, cold in the seating area due to air con and the meal really wasn't great- our tower burgers had a dark coloured hard, greasy, crunchy overcooked coating with dry chicken inside. Perhaps it had been sat too long waiting for it to be sold? It certainly wasn't fresh. Would be wary about eating chicken from there again. Not had this experience in a KFC before. Maybe someone higher up should be checking in occasionally to check on hygiene/food safety standards......

By far the best Burger King I've eaten . Tasted freshly cooked , very very tasty, just what I needed after a 7 hour drive up. The area was kept very clean and the staff happy and friendly.

There is no subway here, does not exist, have asked the services and it is long gone, absolutely no sign of it whatsoever !!
