After using the cafe for many years, we paid our last visit today. At 2pm, with 3 hours still to go, we were unable to get a sandwich for lunch. All that was available were 3 sad looking reduced sandwiches in packets. Sadly, gone are the days where Elsie & Wendy offered friendly service. The 3 staff members behind the till appeared to be ‘clearing up’ for the end of day. The food we’ve had recently has been mediocre at best but then that’s what you get with pre-prepared food warmed in tiny service area.It’s clear that costs are being cut to maximize profits, which in this case has led to customer reduction too!

Staff are very rude , they have no customer service skills what so ever . A blonde female who is always is on her phone served me the other day i always get oat milk and she gave me semi skimmed they are lucky it was just a preference and not an Allergy never again will i be attending this branch

I ordered a takeaway via MorleyEats. My order was missing an item missing. So I called the restaurant to tell them that my item was missing. To be told “that they could send it if I wanted it”. Of course I wanted it otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered it. Now, the restaurant may have thought its only £1 worth of food but it isn’t, it is actually £3.50 worth of food as I wouldn’t have ordered the accompaniment. It isn’t about the £3.50 it’s about the principal. How many other customers has this happened to. How many don’t complain because it’s only a small amount of money. Let’s for arguments sake say it happens to every 10th customer. Over a year, 2 years etc this all adds up The food: the starter shami and seekh kebabs starters were very cold, dry and like leather. The main course jingha tikka masala was actually quite nice. A shame it was let down by poor customer service. My main concern is the restaurants attitude; to think it’s okay not to fulfil an order even when the customer has informed them of the mistake, no matter how much the customer paid for the item… they have still for it and should expect to receive it. I will not be ordering anything from them again.

Very grubby and tired looking now. Needs a damned good clean. Was only about 11.30 am on a Sunday so they’d not been open long so no excuse really. Dirty worn looking tables and grubby looking floor. The guy clearing tables wasn’t wiping any of them down. There’s glass all the way around as it’s upstairs in next and that was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Decent coffee but the ginger cake I had was hard around the edges. Will give it a miss next time I’m shopping at The Springs.

Although the spud and chilli con carnie tasted nice the potatoe was too small and the serving of chilli was tiny and dry... not worth over £7. I used to come before they closed and reopened. Portion sizes were better. You can't even get tuna and mayo now. Very disappointed. I won't bother again. Might as well go to Wetherspoons

Flat white was great as always. This place is always busy, as there is nothing else to go to. Staff were friendly and tiffin is my favorit with my Flat white. Just clearing the tables could be done quicker

Advised that the Cafe was no longer serving food at 13:00 after spending 20 mins in a queue. At first the reason was they are under staffed customer ahead of me asked for a breakfast as he was on his lunch break and couldn't come back. Miraculously they found the staff and produce for one more breakfast. Floor manager advised not her issue as separately staffed even though they all wear the same uniform and the profits end up in the same pot. Not a good experience and not the 1st time this has happened. I was offered a free breakfast for a later date, I refused this and asked they offer support to the cafe instead.

I had an absolute brilliant service! I was served by Zarin and Joana and I had the best experience every! They were really friendly and made sure I was comfortable for my flight as I lt was the first tike flying on my own. I dont usually write reviews but I feel like this was needed. Thank you so much guy you were amazing keep it up! I hope I'll see you again.

I got a delivery of tuna onion peppers and chilli pizza, honestly it looked and tasted like a doughy burnt margarita, so disappointed, no toppings at all, the only reason it got 1 star was that it wasn't cold, I ate it because very hungry nut NEVER go again

£13 for a cold dry wrap which I couldn’t eat. The potatoes fries were stale. Bottle of water was over priced. Worst fast food I’ve ever had avoid at all costs

After having a fun day at Elland Road Stadium and Ice Skating I thought I’d take my son down to one of my old haunts. As a teen I used to frequent this particular Burger King and had warm fuzzy feeling of nostalgia for the place. Well with in 30 seconds all that was ruined and I could see why it was empty (Apart from some obnoxious Delivery Guys). Tables were filled with Rubbish, staff were more concerned with Drive Through and Online Orders than actually serving people who visit, the food was cold and poorly assembled, chips were soggy we couldn’t finish it, asked to speak to a manager who never appeared, took my complaint to their customer service. I can’t believe that a company like Burger King willing hires and promotes staff with such a high level of incompetence and complete lack of manners! Yet to hear back from Burger King Customer Service, but fond memories have been replaced by this experience, and if the place gets shut down by environmental health, I wouldn’t be surprised! AVOID THIS BRANCH LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Best milkshake going!!! other takeaway usually give a small cup for milkshake but not these guys, a fairly sized cup good for its price! Staff are always friendly, they let me usually customise my choice even if its not on the menu, thats what you call good customer service. And my wife loves their kinder and nutella crepes. 100% recommend

Shocking just how BAD this place has become. I ordered a special curry which was a warmed up curry from a day or 2 before that they didn’t sell it was absolutely disgusting and tasteless nothing it seems is cooked from fresh it’s all pre cooked and it’s sat in a hot cupboard and used days later. The prices are so expensive and to charge the prices they do for frozen chips is beyond disgusting this USED TO BE the best Chinese takeaway in Yorkshire when they made their homemade chunky chips and every dish was prepared from scratch, now it’s no different to the lower end takeaways you see around where they buy very cheap ingredients . I will never step foot in here again it’s criminal what they have done to this takeaway it’s best days are now well behind it AVOID AVOID AVOID
