The best restaurants in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Came here for lunch with my Mum. Firstly one of the cups I received was dirty, this was exchanged for me. The food was poor. We had welsh rarebit this was not the best, I think it had been left in the machine so long all the cheese had melted away. Then we had Banana cheesecake. This was awful no taste to it at all. The only reason I knew it was cheesecake is because that is what it was advertised as. I asked my Mum what flavour she thought it was and she said “not sure but I think Orange” that should give you some idea of what it tasted like. The two pots of tea, one was fine, the other was like slightly coloured water, once the tea had been poured from the “good” tea pot, I transferred the teabag to the second tea pot hoping 2 bags would give it some flavour. Upon opening the teapots I was horrified to see all the chips and cracks in the pot, (both pots) a true breeding ground for germs. Hugely disappointing lunch, and at £28 I think it’s hugely overpriced. Definitely will not be returning.

I just had my dynamite roll, it was nice and had a lil spice to it . Oh and thanks for those veggie gyozas.

Lo pedí por deliveryoo, no estoy seguro de que esto sea un problema. Las pizzas son buenas, el pan de ajo es sabroso. Pero el tiramisú es horrible, no hay sabor a vino y café. El bizcocho está seco, algunos chips de chocolate baratos en la parte superior. esto es aislado tiramisú si llama tiramisú

La peor comida de las Indias Occidentales que hemos tenido. Pedí dos comidas express, una rabo de toro y una cabra. Pociones pequeñas. Solo un trozo de rabo de toro y seis pequeños trozos de cabra. Comidas muy secas o salsa en absoluto. Básicamente, la comida consistía en arroz y guisantes. Como dijo mi esposo, ese fue el arroz más caro que jamás había comido. Las bolas de masa eran pequeñas y dulces, se parecían más a festivales que a bolas de masa. Dale un giro a este lugar. Totalmente disgustado

El mejor kebab de la historia en la ciudad de Leeds y Ali es muy amable y cálido. Muy bonito 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 🙂👍👍👍👍👍👍 El ambiente es muy agradable ❤️

I have had 3 different meals from here lately and they have all been poor. The food is dry and boring. Even the curry is bland. Very poor value for money. I definitely won't be going again.

The staff are extremely rude. As soon as I entered the building, a female staff member barked at me to shut the door. I didn’t even notice that it was open. It doesn’t hurt to be more polite. I’ve been here 4 times now and all the staff seem really miserable, unhappy with their jobs and they project it onto customers. The guy with glasses who works there is quite smug and laughs at customers behind their backs. It’s a shame that me and my partner noticed this behaviour. I’m going to be writing to head office about this since this is quite possibly the worst cafe Nero in the country, and I’ve been to a few. I think better management and training is needed since they need to learn to be nice to customers, who effectively keep them in a job. The cafe Nero in Wellington place is amazing and they could really do with learning from them on how to create a nice and inviting environment for customers.

3 piece meal to take away, got home to a tinychicken wing and 2 small legs, and half a bag of scrappy chips, Hardly any meat on the wings . Definitely not what I'm used to for KFC, very disappointed ☹️

La comida llegó y faltaba hamburguesa de pollo, faltaba arroz y pollo y faltaban las papas fritas. Cuando me quejé, la señora del teléfono estaba gritando y hablando por mí y luego cerró el teléfono. Se negaron a enviar los artículos faltantes o a emitir un reembolso. El propietario que sigue respondiendo a todas las malas críticas con “tomamos su queja en serio” es una broma, se le hizo consciente del problema de los artículos que faltan y fue el propietario quien se negó a corregir el error. No solo que la señora me gritaba por teléfono y hablaba con el dueño al mismo tiempo, sino que el dueño le permitió continuar. No necesitamos sus respuestas de “tomamos su queja en serio”, preferimos un reembolso completo por el asqueroso servicio y la comida asquerosa. Esta es la cuarta vez que cometes un error, y aún así diciendo que tomas mi queja en serio, claramente estás mintiendo y realmente no te importa la calidad de la comida o el servicio! ¡Este lugar debería cerrarse! Por cierto, las hamburguesas de pollo son hamburguesas baratas congeladas, como otro crítico también señaló acertadamente. ¡Definitivamente no fresco! Insto a cualquiera que se envenene por alimentos a reportar a estos vaqueros a la agencia de estándares alimenticios al 020 7276 8448

Nunca he tenido una chinease tan mala en mi vida. Llamé por teléfono para decir que la masa en los wontons era dura y que el relleno no era una gamba con sabor a cebolla. No te disculpes si no te gusta no vengas a responder. Muy decepcionante ya que me encantan los wontons no estoy seguro de lo que eran. El principal también fue recocido. .

Nos detuvimos para tomar una pinta y un bocadillo, una buena pinta, un sándwich de jamón excelente. Volvieron más tarde para tomar una copa y se encontraron con la mujer más desagradable detrás del mostrador, demasiado ocupada regañando a otros clientes por ser "padres inapropiados" para molestarse en servirnos. Ordered a meal from Crossgates branch 50 minutes to arrive and was cold. I thought the name fast food meant quick well this place is not. Had to put the oven on or the food would have gone in the bin. My advice keep away from this place.

Very watery and bland it was a waste of £30, its a real shame because it used to be decent. I dont usually write reviews but was very disappointed.

Worst curry I have ever seen. Vegetables were raw and hard, no flavour at all. Had to cook a frozen pizza!

We only recently discovered Mr. Phungs had opened again (had been closed due to COVID 19) and yesterday my husband and I decided to treat ourselve. We were not disappointed. The food tasted delicious were plentiful and excellent value. We will definitely be returning for some more.in the near future
