Costa in Leeds

Flat white was great as always. This place is always busy, as there is nothing else to go to. Staff were friendly and tiffin is my favorit with my Flat white. Just clearing the tables could be done quicker

We came for a light lunch and a coffee. I shared a panini with vegan chicken and an egg with watercress sandwich. Both were very nice and my Cortado was a decent coffee too.

Excellent place, with good staff, and a good taste of the cafe, I really enjoyed it, good atmosphere, and it's a good place for businesses smeeting

On three occasions the same staff member has been rude to both me and my friend. She is the barista and is not nice to people. The place is dirty and this weekend was our final visit. Won’t go again .

Never had a problem here. Staff very friendly and helpful. I go in at least twice a week. Sometimes one of the toilets may be closed but I see how busy they all are and to be fair, they are the only toilets at the shopping centre other than one in Smyths and I've seen people coming in just to use them.

Several hours after it had rained, nobody had bothered to wipe down the tables and chairs. About sums up this rubbish Costa. Very slow service, unhelpful staff, rotten coffee.

The building is nice and new but the tables are very dirty and not cleaned by the staffs. Very cold coffee tasted like milk. Decided not to go to any Costa ever again. Waste of money.

I visited recently at about 3pm. Almost all the tables that weren't occupied were covered in used crockery and we had to clear our own table. One of the toilets was out of order and the other was in a dire state. No toilet paper, the back panel had come off and it could only be flushed by wrestling with a tiny plastic button sticking out of a steel rod in the wall. There was toilet paper on the floor which was in a disgusting state.It was pretty obvious they hadn't been checked for a long time. Its also obvious that this Costa needs more staff. There were only two staff as far as I could see and I've noticed that quite a few Costa's are not in a very good state of repair. Come on Coca Cola spend some of your vast profits on updating the chain of Costa's you bought last year! The staff are fighting an uphill battle to keep these cafe's presentable. They have definitely gone down in attractiveness in the last six months.

Like another reviewer I was disgusted with dirty tables and it was only 11.45am! Friendly staff though and good coffee as always.

I called in, as I do regularly at this and many other Costas. I noticed it was busy, it looked like there were no seats apart from a section where tables had seemingly been put away early. Chairs now put on top of tables. It was 15:30pm and closes at 20:00pm. I’d ordered to drink in, I couid see one male staff member looking at me as I looked around wondering where to sit. I then said to a female stafff member can I use the area they had closed. She said we were cleaning that area up. I was left stood at the counter until I eventually said to a 3rd staff member are you wanting me to put this in a takeaway cup and leave. Reluctantly they allowed me a seat in their closed ‘let’s try get packed up early area’. This was then followed by me being mopped around. Total joke. And it wasn’t a cleanliness issue, it was simply avoiding the thought of more customers that day!! Very unhappy

Very rude staff.And I mean rude.....shocking service....one member of staff wiped her finger over the top of my cup.....toilets are so bad, I wouldn't take a dog into them.....Avoid and same your money.... seriously this place is bad.....

We came for a coffee here after having a quick walk around the nearby Abbey. Nothing at all wrong with the drinks and food, both were delicious and hit the spot. The staff who served us were polite and chatty with a good sense of humour. The downside was that most of the tables hadn't been cleared from other customers visits, and when we did find one without cups and trays on it, it was covered in crumbs and spilled milk.

Went in here for a coffee and a tea cake. Service was friendly and effecient. Coffee was freshly made as always in Costa. The tea cake is served with butter on the side, which we liked. Only negative is that the tables weren't cleaned very often/quickly, which caused some tables to be dirty for a longer time

I went here just before Christmas with my little boy as a treat. The staff were really friendly and efficient and took time out to chat to my boy about his shopping trip. Enjoyed the gingerbread latte too

Coffee here was terrible, almost as if cups had not been rinsed properly. But worst was the staff. Only one person serving whilst 4 in the shop. Two seemed to solely interested in putting up new advertising. Thus creating a queue of people wanting sandwiches and waiting an inordinate amount of time. Expensive

Visited between 08.30 and 09.00 on Saturday Morning 25/11/17. Service was polite and friendly, it wasn't that busy so plenty of choice of seating. I ordered a Hot Chocolate and a Toasted Teacake, I was disappointed in the Hot Chocolate, it didn't taste of Chocolate...

This is nearer a 3.5 as the service we enjoyed was very good and the coffee we had was very good for a franchise. We also enjoyed a nice toasted tea cake and the coffee shop was clean throughout. The service was also friendly
