Spud U Like in Leeds

Aunque el spud y chile con carnie sabía bien la patata era demasiado pequeña y la porción de chile era pequeña y seca... no vale más de £ 7. Solía venir antes de que cerraran y reabrieran. Los tamaños de las porciones fueron mejores. Ni siquiera puedes conseguir atún y mayo ahora. Muy decepcionado. No me molestaré de nuevo. También podría ir a Wetherspoons

We always love a sudulike..... however today they advertised their spud and beans offer all January, Monday to friday for half price ... the young lady would not sell us this item apparently it hadn't been put into her till ,she was not willing to key it in as she wasn't sure how to do it and insisted we had to pay the full price .. false advertising .cone on James Martin don't be a money grabber if your advertising then sell it otherwise take the advertisement down ... Needless to say we didn't buy and will not be coming back.

This place has gone down hill since James Martin took over. Yes the quality is decent, but the price is extortionate when you look at the portion sizes. I actually had to ask the server to put more beans on my jacket. Unbelievable. It’s no wonder there’s hardly no customers queuing!

Lunch on the run ,decided to visit Spud U Like, Whiterose Centre, Leeds. The only food outlet in the food hall with no queue, still i gave it benefit of doubt. The menu seemed really odd, good to think out of the box, however a chicken wing balanced on top of a spud and a hotdog sausage on another, chefy gone a bit mad!!! this is a spud !!! Opted for salmon and cream cheese, coke zero, £8, ouch... visual bone sticking out of the Salmon, cream cheese seasoned with pepper,who does that? all went in the bin. Coke Zero was nice, well done Coca Cola. Avoid, its not working.....

I was really looking forward to my meal. Visited Spudulike many times. This visit was the first one since Covid19. First thing I noticed was the price. £8 for a jacket, side and a bottle of water. There was no queue ( should have raised my concern) I got cheese which was hard and tasteless and not much of it and rainbow slaw which frankly was rank. I really don't think I will be visiting again. Sadly in my opinion it's really gone down hill....

I can by a sack of spuds for the 6.49 they charge which doesn't include a drink and I am quite capable of making burnt chilli. And aren't you supposed to have money in the till to provide change.

Baked potato with cottage cheese. £4.99 charged . Potato dry and meal unappetising. Definitely overpriced. Won’t use again.

Absolutely disgusting, waste of money, portions tiny. Paid £9 for a potato with cheese, beans and a side of coleslaw and a coke. Portion would be ok for a 3 year old. Took it back to complain and they topped it up to 3 times the amount they first tried to give me. Apparently James Martin has now taken it over. Well no wonder the prices have rocketed, portions gone tiny and stupid fillings. Come on ribs, chicken wings or hotdogs on a jacket spud! Anyway that will be the last time I will be going here, used to love spud u like but definitely not worth the money now, such a shame. McDonald's or kfc next time it is then.

Expensive for what it is. The knife and fork provided were useless and melted when trying to cut the potato, ended up getting some from KFC that were marginally better. No sauce..and what’s the deal at £3.50 for mince pie and a coffee...mince pie looked like it was straight from a Morrison’s box. Don’t think I’ll bother next time.

It was a well baked and decent Jacket Potato - although it could have done with more cheese and being a bit warmer, and it was overpriced. Staff are friendly.

I was very disappointed as I got into my potato and noticed it was very black green in colour. I have woke with stomach pains this morning and feel sick. I have pictures of the potatoes I bought and I'm very unhappy about this situation. Surely the staff must have seen the colour of this potato when cutting into to it and putting sweetcorn and Tuna topping on. Please send me an email so I can forward the pictures of the state of the potato that had left me but well this morning. I will be going to the doctors this morning as I definitely know this is the only good I ate.. Obviously it looks eaten but it was scrapped off into my husbands tray. And some was eaten.

This one what it says on the tin; jacket potatoes and a topping of your choice from the selection on the board. I had the menu deal. Topping was chick peas in a spicy tomato sauce with spices. It tasted very nice. Seating area needs a few more seats to accommodate the volume of customers.

Called today, Chilli Spud and 4 Garlic Slices and a coffee..... £10.40p.😲 I actually said to the girl, " bloody hell, thats an expensive dinner"😲 Nice, but wont be going again.🤔

The spuds are nice - good in size and well cooked - but when you add toppings the price becomes prohibitive (£6.49 for a 30p potato with 1 spoon of chilli!), and eating with plastic knives and forks out of polystyrene containers isn't the most elegant way to eat a jacket spud! Plus the usual stupid White Rose eating zone restrictions are a joke!

They offer a variety of options to choose from, to please every type of taste bud. Its not pricey, reasonably quick service and tastes yummm... I love chicken tikka flavour, chickpeas, and tuna!! (All different) Definitely a do try place, if you are not looking for fine dining option.

Went here on Saturday night and whilst other eateries had queues thankfully here didn't. The young lad on the front took my order professionally with a smile, I ordered a spud with beans and cheese and a side of coleslaw. It came quickly and piping hot, and the coleslaw was very tasty too. The only thing is the price, for what it is it is quite expensive, near enough 7 quid for what I ordered. They must be getting a mega profit per potatoes but as a one off and for a healthy fast food treat it's not too bad.

The White Rose Centre is the epicentre of boring, beige shopping but while I was waiting for a sports event to finish I wanted a cheap and cheerful lunch. Like the centre the food court is full of all the usual chain suspects – Pizza...

Nice big jacket potatoes but apart from the standard plain spud it gets a bit pricey when you start adding beans, chilli, cheese etc. Also with the stupid White Rose seating restrictions it is sometimes impossible to find a table in the designated area -...

I visited The White Rose shopping centre today and fancied a jacket potato with side salad for lunch. This was my first visit upstairs to the food court there for years and I struggled to find anything that was good, basic food. Most are fast...

Food courts are places where visitors will often mix and match their food choices and have to sit where they can in busy periods. Amazingly the staff here have not realised this yet and will be territorial over their tables even when they're not in...

Visited with my Auntie for lunch. Firstly, paying £7 for a jacket potato and a drink is extremely expensive, however it did taste really nice. Secondly, we struggled to get a seat as you are only allowed to sit in the Spud u Like section.

Sometimes when in white rose centre you just fancy something like a jacket, tried this place a couple of times thought the first time was bad second time was even worse, the potato was so small & so bloody burnt, the tuna has way too...

I was at white rose and the young guy in charge of the dining area for this place was disgusting baring in mind it was peak lunch hours he tried to kick a frail old lady because she had KFC instead if anyone had done...

Always very hot and tasty. They should have a bigger "dish" for people who get more than one topping as its so full! And yes very slow with the service. Still come as there's not much healthy quick food here.

Always enjoy my meal here. Good quality and extensive choice of fillings. There are also other items besides potatoes. Would recommend.

Went at about 12-30 and staff said there is a twenty minute wait as no spuds ready. This was lunch time for gods sake. Went to McDonalds instead. If a place runs out of food at that time it's bad management.
