The best restaurants in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Honestly one of the worst pubs I have ever been to, it was completely D E A D, the music was average and the cost? Don't make me mention the cost dear - I fear what it might do to me. So you maybe wondering what the 5 stars are for, each and every single glittering star is for the one staff member, destined to tend a bar alone in an empty emotionless room, who supplied me with such wit and charm that he alone deserves 5 stars. And therefore, this review is more a judge of character for the staff as opposed for the lifeless atmosphere. This is for a better bar experience, this is for more Lukes.

I went here for the brunch with work a few Saturdays ago, and I wasn't too impressed with the food or drink. The drinks were watery and majority of the group had the beef burrito but they said it was too Spicy so most of it got left. I had the pasta and was quite surprised that it was nice. The portion size was OK too. The staff did keep coming over to our table regularly to take drinks Orders and clear the empties. The place is definitely for the young uns and had a good lively atmosphere. The staff get involved too.

Rana has an amazing menu of food . My husband and I go there often and get takeout or sometimes sit in and eat . Chana bhatura tastes just like it does in India and his cookery is done with so much love. Flavours on point and good portion as well . Must try his fish karahi as well . His food is made fresh on order because it does take a while to get prepped. He is also always very welcoming and greets you with a smile . Keep it up

Fuming sat waiting for order and it gets cancelled by restaurant no explanation or anything. If they had refused 30 + mins ago when ordered I could’ve ordered elsewhere. Poor form

Ordered at just after 9.30 pm. Took the money (£32), waited 30 mins then canceled. 3 to 5 days to get it back. It used to be a good restaurant and takeaway. Now, no idea and don't care to find out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone again. Stay away, thought on past history give them the benefit of the doubt on the reviews, lived up to the 1 star!

Excellent food at a fantastic price. Better priced than anywhere else we've tried in North Leeds. Gluten free options too (write in the notes at the end).

Gawgus food, cannot fault it. Sweet & Sour chicken balls yummy 😋 Food was very hot too. Delivery guy very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend.

Ordered beans and plantain but the beans was so dry, they literally put in a microwave and sold it

Wanted 2 jam donuts, greggs staff said cant buy 2 because 2 cant fit in 1 bag Repeated this 3 times, wanted another donut. But she said no...i cant fit this in 1 bag.. Didnt want to argue with her.... she could have given me another bag, i would pay for an extra bag if required

This is NOT authentic Jamaican food. It was absolutely terrible. Also a lot of these positive reviews are fake. There's one on here by a Natasha Ismail, she is one of the owners of the takeaway. It's run and owned by her & her partner. She also has her underage kids working there
