Love this restaurant. The venue is beautiful. The staff are always so helpful especially the restaurant manager Pietre. Such a lovely guy and so so welcoming. Food is excellent and they make the best pina colada’s !!!

No vegetarian food at all and a forced 20% tip on already overpriced items

Was a guest in the private dining room on Saturday the 11th. Service by Pietro was amazing he was incredibly attentive of everyone and made everyone feel great. Food was also delicious, steaks cooked perfectly and also great vegan options. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Too loud. Difficult to brave and eat. Food is good and decoration is good. Overpriced.

Decent food and the service is always great… but starters and deserts are increasingly expensive for what they are…. Fillet steak was not bad at all but you can get bigger and tastier and cheaper nearer home… but most shocking of all for me- recently tried to stop drinking…. Alcohol free beer worked out at around £11 a pint (330ml bottles about £5,50)… come on RBG get real.

Overall really poor experience. Food was average at best. Got 3 different types of steak and all came cooked the wrong temperature. It was a birthday occasion but they failed to bring any surprise as restaurants usually would and still charged me for it. The bill took ages to come and then the server instead of brining the card machine head away to serve another table making us wait to a point I had to walk to the desk to pay. Don’t get fooled by the looks of this restaurant. Paid £304 for 5 meals and 2 starters and it was totally waste of money and calories. AVOID AT ALL COST. MCDONALD’S IS ACROSS RHW ROAD. At least over there you get decent food!

Beautiful looking restaurant and can’t fault any of the staff in terms of service. Based off the really good reviews and the tasting looking menus me and my family were expecting some really nice food, however we were left really disappointed. We ordered a seafood sharing starter, which was covered in batter and lacked any sort of taste. For mains we ordered a Chateaubriand ( for two) and two fillet stakes, alongside accompanying sides. In all honesty it was nothing short of shocking, fillet tasted like a roasting joint it was chewy, flavourless and very over cooked. The chateaubriand was much rarer as you’d expect, however still lacked any sort of flavour and again was way too tough for what should be the most tender of cuts. In conclusion, I felt that I needed to leave this review as we spent over £300 on a meal that we really shouldn’t have paid for it was that bad. Again nothing to do with the service or the ambiance of the establishment, they were both great, just a shame the food is nowhere near up to the same level.

Visited the Leeds site of Restaurant Bar and Grill yesterday during a Christmas shopping day with good friends. The building is beautiful, a fantastic environment to meet with friends for good food and drinks. The Bar staff were excellent, fast efficient, helpful and friendly service with a special mention to Jamie, Ellis and Moe Min. Once we were at our table the great service continued from our waitress Maria. She was really friendly and helpful with the menu, and on top of our service. We chose from the Christmas lunch menu and were not disappointed. Great food, good portion sizes. I'll definitely return on my next visit to Leeds!!

Table of 14 booked for Christmas do over 3 months ago. Arrived 3pm for 6pm table/food. Bar excellent. However, wasn't seated until 6.15. Pre-ordered food took over an hour to arrive and only after several conversations with staff. Korean chicken, struggled to find any sauce. Duck -dry and tepid. Steaks were good apparently. Chocolate mousse? Like uncooked cookie dough. And ice cream? Chantilly cream surely? 3 out of 4 red wines requested not available. Your cellar person needs their P60 asap. After 15 years? Your service should be slick and professional. It wasn't. Won't be eating here again.

Always visit when we are in Leeds and always our choice restaurant. Been going for over 10 years and visits have been varied but always good to excellent. Came on a Saturday early evening and expected it to be busy and it was with the Christmas festivities starting. Didn’t have to wait long for our table and service was ok. We fortunately had a bottle so no problem having to wait to order. Ordered our main which came in good time. We had to wait to order desserts and further drinks which was fine. However whilst waiting for our drinks and food the hostess came up and spoke to the manager working upstairs who came over to our table and said we will need the table back in 10 minutes! Our response that’s not a problem but we’re still wishing for our desserts and drinks. These arrived a short while after and don’t think my dessert was as the menu stated however we felt so uncomfortable that we ate quick, paid quickly and took our drinks outside in the winter tent which was absolute carnage! For a bill nearly £200 we left feeling disappointed and rushed and in all honesty won’t be rushing to book again when we come back next time and will probably try other places. Maybe a 2 hour slot at busy times would be better especially when the service is much slower.

Big restaurant, rather noisy. We were in there for lunch mid family Christmas shopping trip and service and food both good, especially the oysters and lemon sole.

Food was absolutely bismal given the bill came to over £300 I will not be returning Would’ve been better off booking out the local McDonald

A bit disappointed. We had a Christmas meal the other day and the food wasn't too great, my duck was just dry and meh... It was stupidly noisy, it was really hard to have a conversation, in fact I wanted to leave the place asap. My dB meter on my phone was showing 88dB+, that's like standing next to a food blender. I felt sorry for the staff who were amazing, as spending a few hours in this noise is damaging to hearing.

First time here today for our annual Christmas meals with friends , would not return at all even if you paid me . Bill came at over £300 and was not worth even £100. Wine was perfect as they hadn’t made it , two starters of the salt and pepper spare ribs which were just battered bones and when we asked for new ones they wanted to confirm with the chef that it wasn’t right even though it was literally bone with batter on . 2 fillet steaks both fatty and cheap with a small handful of chips to say this was over £40 per head and roast beef dinner which was cold and undercooked . Service charge was £30 which was ridiculous as there was no one around . So disappointed and would never go back ever or recommend it , bland tasteless and overpriced .

Food and cocktails were really nice. Only thing was the portion sizes of the food were small.

As always had a great meal, great drinks and fantastic service. This place is a constant high standard, great food and lovely setting.

Excellent dinner in a friendly and exclusive venue. I was in a business meeting and we ordered a sampling of different dishes. I highly recommend this selection for a table of three or four. The entire experience was outstanding . The Ceviche, Sushi, tiraditos ,duck rolls, and scallops were great, and the quality of food is excellent . Maria s service was impeccable .It's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Such bad service and rude staff. Went a few weeks ago and had an issue with my food which I didn't initially mind, but the staff were so rude dealing with it made me feel like a joke. Much much better places in Leeds to spend your time and money!

Really enjoyed the food here, I got the steak with miso butter which was so delicious and umami 🤩 We also got the duck spring rolls for starter to share and it was filled with plenty of duck and very tasty! Quite expensive, atmosphere was fine but nothing special, would come again for the food! We got a free dessert because it was my boyfriend’s birthday - a lovely touch

Just had two cocktails a Friggin Good Old Fashioned and a Sprey Margarita excellently prepared by Macsen. Great space inside and well looked after by all staff especially reception.

The restaurant itself is a lovely place and the service was fantastic, they even brought us a free cake for my brother's birthday. The food and drinks were also great across the board though the t-bone we ordered was a bit overcooked.

We visited RBG on a Sunday afternoon for the Sunday sharing feast as part of their Club IR offer. The roast, consisting of beef, lamb and all the trimmings was beautifully presented and arrived relatively quickly after ordering. It was almost too much for 2 people and could easily fill 3-4 smaller eaters. We then ordered the sharing sticky toffee pudding which, again, was excellent. However, we were let down at the end with the charging. The desserts was advertised as included in the £25 per person charge, however when the receipt came, it was charged at £14.00. After querying with the waiter, he apologised and went, I thought, to remove it. Having presumed it was, I paid. However, upon checking the receipt I realised the charge had only been reduced to just under £10. I believed this happened with a table next to ours as well as they seem confused with their bill after having the same meal. Aside from this, the service was excellent.

Friends were having a meal in there and we asked the front desk if we could come in to say a quick hello before catching our train and they were polite, helpful and accommodating.

We have been to Bank Birmingham so thought we would try the same group in Leeds Set in the city centre, this restaurant is in a lavish building with high ceilings & decorated perfectly Fancy but not stuffy The greeter was warm & seated us in a booth The server was Jodie She was lovely Friendly & attentive She checked the food was good & offered more drinks at the perfect time Food was delicious & the atmosphere (on a Sunday evening) was quiet but not boring Would definitely recommend this restaurant

A great building, beautiful interior, staff were amazing and the service was 5 star! The food was good although my husband had an issue with his steak- but it was all dealt without any issue or upset…. Would definitely go back!

Came for day drinks before meeting some friends. Sat in a booth which was lovely to begin with. Drinks extremely overpriced with a service of table service when only a drink order being taken. Tap water served warm. ‘Booth’ seating area then collapsed, told a member of staff who said nothing more than ‘ooh sorry, we thought that had been fixed.’ Left us sat there with nothing else! A further seat then collapsed as we were leaving. We informed the same waitress who laughed it off and said she would shut it off. Could have been nasty but no concern from staff!

We visited yesterday for my wife's birthday and had an amazing experience. The service from every staff member was brilliant, very friendly and efficient, the food was great, for the quality and portion size it was great value for money. All set up in a beautiful building and a great atmosphere. Obviously it is on the more expensive side, but in this instance you get what you pay for. Thanks for making it a memorable day for my family!

Went here for tea early Saturday evening, only.to be let down, I had fish and chips... batter was disgusting very fatty. My husband and son had burgers, they said they were tasteless. Really let down. Overpriced. The bill was £110 for fish and chips 2 x burgers 1 child meal steak and chips (best meal) 1 beer 1 gin 2 cokes.

Went here for lunch and chose from the special daily menu of either 2 or 3 courses. We both opted for the 3 courses and they were lovely. I had beetroot, orange and avocado salad for starter, which was lovely and then had Miso aubergine with sticky rice for the main course. I finished with a huge strawberry pavlova which was delicious. The service was really good, the staff very friendly and the decor at the restaurant is lovely.

Food was lovely but pricey. Extra carrots over £5.00! Would have liked mash with the lamb instead of paying extra at the price it was. Now don't get wrong, my food was nice but needed the full meal (mash) to finish it off!

The food, as ever was great. However its a place to take your time. Our table was booked for 1400 and we were still at the table at 1730. So not to be rushed.

Super experience in a lovely and high end establishment. Friendly greetings from Margarita and her team. I can say all the food was fantastic. We joined the locations membership and managed to get bottles of wine at half price! Super Whispering Angel. All up a lovely high end experience in a high quality setting.

This place was amazing. The food was great. We had some lovely oysters and a beautiful Asian platter. For the main meal we have a lovely steak. The old fashioned drinks were stunning, with different variations they all tasted amazing. It's quite expensive but worth the price tag.

Very great place to have drinks with vibrant music. The restaurant is a separate area where you will be seated in nice, classy dining area where you could talk conveniently with your party. Staff are very attentive and professional. We were pleased that they gave us complimentary drinks to celebrate the graduation of my sister 😁 We enjoyed our drinks especially my boyfriend, he loved the Old Fashioneds!! Food was amazing too-love how the steak was medium rare with a properly chargrilled effect on the outside. Most importantly, our visit didn't rip off our pockets!

Food was lovely. However service was chaotic and meals were forgotten. We were a large table of 10 and had to prebook the food, just not enough staff on and mistakes being made. It's a nice venue but the music was way too loud (sorry if I sound old) whilst the food was beautiful I definitely think it's over priced. Staff were apologetic and did knock some off however shouldn't have happened.

Celebrated our twin girls 18th birthday. Had a wonderful meal with excellent service. With a surprise desert served by a singing waiter. Perfect.

Came for an early anniversary meal. Great place definitely as the wow factor. Excellent and friendly staff. We had the sharing roast dinner. You choose 2 meats. We had lamb and beef. Numerous sides to accompany. Very generous portions. You also get 4 miniature desserts included. Excellent value. Definitely worth a visit.

Second time back here for wine Wednesday with work friends. Absolutely highly recommend it, the service is fabulous, the food is incredible and half price wine on a Wednesday is a winner! Go for the seared tuna with bearnaise, it's mouth watering.

I had come with my family for my dad’s 50th birthday. Dining here was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The decor is elegant, providing a relaxing and enjoyable setting. The food was simply outstanding; every dish we tried was bursting with flavour and presented beautifully. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, and the dessert – a rich chocolate fondant – was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Shashank our waiter was very attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal in Leeds.

Had an amazing dinner at The Restaurant Bar and Grill last night! The vibe was super chill and cozy, perfect for a fun night out. Our waiter, Shashank was always there when we needed something. He gave us good recommendations on what to order and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was on point, everything we tried was delicious and looked amazing. The grilled steak was tender and full of flavour, and the seafood was super fresh. The cocktails were awesome too, really creative and tasty. I had come here with my colleagues for lunch here and had a smashing time. The ambiance was just beautiful, which really set the mood for a great time. We ordered the Rock Oysters and the Crispy Duck Spring Rolls. Both were awesome and for our mains, we had the Prime Rib, Roasted Loch Duart Salmon, and the Grain Fed Ribeye. The prime rib was the best of them all. Shashank, our waiter was very attentive and made himself available to us all the time. We all left really satisfied and happy with both the food and the service. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend it for a special meal with friends and family.

My wife and I had come for our wedding anniversary and had a fantastic lunch at the Restaurant Bar and Grill in Leeds. Shashank, our waiter, was polite and friendly looked after us well. The food is a bit on the expensive side, but trust me, it’s worth it. Definitely the best in Leeds. For starters, we had the Chilli Squid and Tempura King Prawns, both of which were delicious. We shared the Chateaubriand for our main course, and it was cooked to perfection. We were really satisfied and happy with both the food and the service. Overall, a great experience!

Just hit up this spot with my friends for bottomless brunch and it was awesome. The food and drinks were on point, and our waiter Shashank was amazing. Definitely coming back for more brunches!

We were a party of 5 for a retirement lunch. We had the set lunch menu. Great choice for a set menu. Staff were excellent and a fantastic price

We have visited RBG before, but in Liverpool so we were coming in with high expectations for the service and food. We ended up having a fantastic night — we ordered oysters that came very fresh. For the main we had crispy duck and duck salad, i don't think we've ever finished food so fast, it was very difficult to stop because of how good it was! But what really won us over was the service provided by Maria. She was attentive, friendly, fun to talk to. She knew the menu from A to Z and gave us useful recommendations. Honestly just fantastic at her job.

Food quality -taste-presentation=10/10 The atmosphere is great although it can sometimes be way too busy with the bar ( avoid the tables near the bar at busy times) The service was great! Great hosting/service, food good but there is a fair amount of places nearby serving a similar menu, that are better.
