This is the first time I have ordered from Shalimar and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, served hot and generous portions. Delivery was on time, even on bank holiday. 10/10.

Ordered a Tandoori Special pizza here by chance last night after our usual place (ironically 3 doors away) reduced their pizza sizes. I've always struggled to find a consistently good pizza place in Leeds for a reasonable price but Shalimar really delivered on this. Dough was fresh and cooked perfectly, zesty tomato sauce and well spiced tandoori chicken pieces (none of that dry rubbish from other cheapos). Can't vouch for the curries as per other reviews but this pizza will likely be our new regular.

Must try vegetarian cheese garlic bread.

Offered discounts on deliveroo, accepted order, cancelled ten minutes later. Utterly useless. Avoid. Whole family upset and now we have to find another restaurant.

Worst curry ever!!! Rice over cooked and watery, nan breads undercooked and doughy! all tastless!! 70p PER poperdom was ridiculous!!! Will never order from this place again!! AVOID!!!!

I ordered a biryani and I think this is the worst biryani I have ever had in my life. It tasted like a pulao. The taste was terrible. Even the gravy served with it was nothing like the gravy that is usually served with the biryani. Horrible experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone. It was just like putting my money down the drain.

My Pizza was very nice with plenty of toppings on it and my wife's chicken bhuna was apparently very nice too. Delivery time was very good, and our meal was delivered hot and tasty, we will definitely order from here again :)

The doner kebab was amazing it was like the Turkish doner kebabs definitely recommend it.

No taste in any of the items I have ordered. Curry was prepared with frozen vegetables which was not at all good. Samosa didn't have any flavour at all, it was just stuffing. Am surprised how so many good ratings for this restaurant. I would strongly recommend to stay away from this if you are looking for proper Indian curry.

Food was disgusting! Very oily, rice was watery. Keema curry looked awful and tasted even worse no flavour. They had no sheesh kebab so sent something else which was dry! The food was very unpleasant most is in the bin. Would not recommend!

First time I have ordered and it was absolutely delicious.Meat bhuna, boiled rice and chips. If I was going to be critical I would say there wasn't enough rice so i am pleased I ordered chips.

I like the food I have been a regular for a long time but they've put their prices up nearly 30% this month not sure if it's new owners but 27.42% is to much even with the world the way it is your competitors haven't done this .

Food arrived earlier than stated and pipping hot which is excellent. My partners chicken bhuna was apparently very nice and my chicken tikka garlic was edible but far too salty so the main thing I could taste was salt plus I also ended up with an unquenchable thirst after eating my meal so perhaps the chef could do with easing up on the amount of salt added to his meals. The big question is would we order from here again? The answer is yes we would as the food has generally been very good from this restaurant in the past.

The poppadoms were stale or re-heated on of the two, the mango chuckey taste like I had sucked a bit of cardboard, my curry wasn't to bad (balti) I'm in descive as to try them again or not!!!

Food came on time. Pizza, mushroom bhaji and chicken pakoras were great! Ordered two meat madras, these were incredibly spicy and seemed more on the vindaloo level. We were unable to eat them.

We was looking forward to our takeaway on unfortunately we were disappointed in the quality of the food. The curry’s were lacking on spice and flavour, the sundries were cold and the bhargies were just okay.

Rogan Josh is not supposed to be bland. This one had no flavours at all. Where were the spices? I should have been able to taste cumin and coriander and chilli and paprika garlic and cinnamon and so much more. Rogan josh is one of my favourite dishes but this one was abysmal. I would sack the chef.

Now I usually get the mixed donner in naan, which is perfect btw, but tonight we opted for the hot shot pizza and keema bhuna. Both were phenominal. Best and most reliable take away I've ever used. Keep up the good work 👏👏

Honestly the best mixed donner I've had in Leeds. Size of a small child, can never finish one- and somehow still great quality. Never had a bad experience.

Even though we ordered 2 different dishes, they looked and tasted identical apart from the chicken/meat. It seems Shalimar must batch cook a sauce to save time rather than put energy in to creating individual, high quality meals. The meal did taste good and the oil content was less than usual for a curry, just how I enjoy it.

Order pizza for the first time from that place and unfortunately it wasn't the nicest pizza I have ever had. Arrived semi cold and a bit late. Their curry is great to compare to pizza.

Damaged packaging, late delivery, cold food, curry spilled out. When I called them back to say I wasn't happy with the food, they suggested that I was being dishonest. They said they will collect the food before giving me my refund. Do not order food from these people they are undeserving of our custom.

Delivery time 75 minutes curries watery and tasteless with very little meat onion bhaji greasy yoghurt sauce runny and tasteless really unenjoyable

The curry is nice and came promptly, it comes at an amazing price for everything that you receive in the meal deal I ordered for me and my partner. I ordered a meat Rogan Josh and my partner ordered a chicken Masala and both curries were fantastic and the accompaniments were great as well. I recommend this place to my close friends who live nearby.

Food good as always only downside for the first time ever my lips were swollen after eating the burger .
