Paradise Balti & Pizza in Leeds

Took over an hour for them to let us know they didn’t have what we ordered!! Ridiculous.

Very disappointing. Told 45 mins to an hour delivery and was 1 hour 40! . I rang and the main chap I know would not even waive £2 delivery when I asked. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years and this was not an expected response. During the call back he even said “I said at least an hour”. Well I’m afraid that was maybe to someone else as I was definitely told 45-60 mins and would have made alternative arrangements if I’d have known. I also had to make up the order past £10 and did so to enable delivery. I feel they have let themselves down with the attitude to loyal customers and hope they can review this.

the driver was lovely he apologised for been late even though he was ten minutes early, the food was piping hot, now I don't normally do reviews or haven't left one in a very long time, but this place wow this place the only thing that was nice about this place was the driver, the price's are mental, the pizza is bland and the curry is watery the chips are chewy and I'm pretty sure the burger is horse now it's not the takeaways fault it's the people of yeadons fault for giving it a 4.5 stars

The food we ordered was incorrect, no salad in either kabab and only onions on one. No chilli sauce on either kabab either as ordered. Called shop and was advised that the Manager would call me back. No call received!

Loved the chicken Biryani as usual, chapati was beautifully done. Delivery however was quite slow for a Wednesday evening and a single persons order.

Rang up to order, but even though I live a few houses away, wouldn't deliver for less than £10 and put the phone down on me, incredibly rude when I was exceptionally nice to them. I'm very upset, don't accept card only cash or bank transfer, dont waste your money on them

Pains me to do it but after over 15 years of coming here, the food quality has gone right down the pan. Onion Bhajis have been undercooked (and raw in the middle) the last 4 times I've got them. I've had a few stomach upsets after getting the same food I always order the last 3 times and the icing on the cake which forced me to look elsewhere for food of this type was a shard of metal on my meal (not tin foil as I wouldn't have been bothered by that). Called up to advise and they didn't seem overly concerned. I personally feel that quality of food has dropped to make way for promotions and competitions like 50% off when you spend £40 or more. A shame as I used to love the food from here.

First order and overall it was excellent. Bhuna was really enjoyable, same for the pakora. Chips and fresh salad both really nice too.

Order two mixed kebabs, collected food and got home to find just two donner kebabs, disappointing when being charged for it. Always a good experience in the past.

Curry’s were awful so salty and inedible nothing like they should have been both got left and the chicken donner wrap was ridiculously small wouldn’t even suffice as a children’s meal.

I dont think I have ever been so disappointed over a takeaway before. The food was so cold. inedible. Chicken tikka was so dry. chips cold , naan bread was grey & weird looking, Vindaloo was tasteless. The only thing that was ok, was the poppadoms & the driver was very friendly.

Haven t ordered since been taken over years ago, If only I could read a GOOD review, I couldn t wait! To order which was? The best donner kebab @ this side of Leeds. Come on review ers.

Food wasn’t as nice as it normally is, a little cold. I also ordered a large kebab and it came regular size.

Thought they had brought back decent donner meat a few month back alongside release of the chicken donner but last few week gone back down hill. scrappy thin donner meat, all just in tiny bits, very greasy food overall, chips tonight were swimming, the packaging was sodden. won't be ordering again any time soon unfortunately. Really disappointed

Won't get a better Donner kebab anywhere else. The best.

Called up to order a dinner meat and chips for delivery. Order came to £5.60 & delivery fee, the person on the phone told me I needed to make the order £8 plus delivery fee so i asked him what he suggested. He said a can of coke.. I said ok. He then told me the order would take 40 mins to deliver 5 minutes away (which I understand it’s Friday night it’s busy) the order was delivered then 40 minutes later. The portion of chips was much smaller than normal and there was more meat which I wasn’t happy about as I was looking forward to the chips. The chips came lukewarm and the dinner meat not far off. They were also extremely soggy from all the chilli put on them. I looked at the receipt and there the dinner meat and chips, a ‘miscellaneous’ item that was £1.20, the £2 delivery fee and £1.20 on the can of coke. I received nothing extra for the £1.20 and when I called up I was told that he added the cost to get it up to £8 and the chips were not cold (which they were) as I live just around the corner. When I mentioned the portions I got told that that’s the size of their portions and none of It was at all politely.

The food was amazing, but the food took two hours to arrive from initial order, an hour over what they said it would have been, once the food came it was perfect, fresh and hot.

Kebab meat was hot but all the chips were cold, garlic versed was cold also and was more like cardboard. Initially delivery time was 7.15 but was moved to 7.30 , 1 hour 15 minutes from ordering.

Returned to Paradise after a long absence because the food became very bland/ordinary. Its still the same. The new 'chicken kebab' is a greasy mess. Forgot all the sauces and salad (no point ringing up to chase....food will be cold). Pizzas bases are not cooked properly and end being thick dough. I won't be back again.

We bought the chicken kebab and a donna kebab in pitta with chili sauce and garlic mayo. The chili sauce was amazing. Not like the standard watery chili paste I've experienced over the last few years, it had a bit of heat and sweetness with chili visible in the pot. The kebab meat was well cooked and in different size strips and lengths and with the chili sause it was amazing. The chicken kebab was very tasty. Different textures with a lot of flavour. Garlic mayo was also very tasty (not watery at all). We ate the lot! The guy who brought the meal was really nice and now I want to get hungry so I can try something else

Forgotten to put cheese on chips again and it always costs extra.

We ordered from here previously and it was lovely and hot and arrived on time, but tonight I was fairly disappointed it was practically cold and took 95 minutes from ordering to arrive. Hopefully just a blip

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years but in recent times the business has really gone to ruin and poor quality, tonight I ordered a family meal for delivery and I live about a mile away from the shop and was told it would be 30/40 mins so I called back after no sign after an hour to then be told it would be 5 more minutes which is fair if they’re busy/have driver issues. Another half an hour goes by and still no sign so I called up to query and they just don’t give a sh*t and were more than happy to cancel the order which really is baffling and solidified me never returning here again, yeadon folk just go elsewhere and don’t bother wasting your money or time.

Order arrived later than expected. Curry was bland and drink was missing from delivery :-( :-(

When you see this place keep walking. Four hundred yards on the other side of the road is Aldi. Go in there and get a curry. Spend a couple of quid on some condiments and tweak the dish to your liking. Or you can do what I did tonight in wasting nearly £15.00 on what I thought was going to be a "Proper Curry". There is a reason Supermarket curries are forever increasing sales and it is because places like Paradise Balti serve bland, overpriced gloop as "authentic" curries. Vesta tinned curries in the 1970s gave the public a better curry than the one I received tonight. The building is tired, the price list on the wall is out of date , and the food is equally behind the times. People of Yeadon, you deserve better.

This curry is absolutely fantastic it’s bursting with flavour .. I look forward to seeing you again next week thank you :D
