Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Visited Aghrah Midpoint Bradford for their buffet, but it was quite disappointing. Taste was average (5/10), and the quality wasn't much better (6/10). The food variety was lacking, with the BBQ and grill items being cold. The Chapli Kababs were the worst I've had, and the lamb chops were hard and cold (2/10). To top it off, the drink prices were way too high. They should take some tips from Ziryab Birmingham Buffet. I wouldn't recommend this place—it's only worth checking out once, but not worth returning to.

We have been to a lot of buffets in the country and it was first time visiting Aagrah. Food over all was really nice and atmosphere was excellent. It was very family oriented. Owner was also very nice and friendly. He came to us few times and asked us if we are ok or need anything. My only recommendation for management is to add more kids choices like nuggets and pizza as it’s standard in every buffet. We will definitely come back!

Normally we go in Leeds branch but this time we went in this branch and i never have this kind of experience, in beginning the waiter took our order he brought some of them and we were waiting for whatever left after 15- 20 minutes we asked for our remaining dishes and he was like u didn’t tell me that, anyway after all manager came and he was telling us that we need to give all order on first place now i never seen anywhere like that i don’t mind to do that but someone need to tell me anyway i don’t recommend this restaurant worst experience in my life.

Very very bad experience with this restaurant not good service and management is very poor. We spoke our problem with manager but they didn’t took us seriously and didn’t solve our problem. I am definitely not going back to this restaurant

Wide variety of food and it's a buffet system so eat as much as you want. The atmosphere and the deco is very nice. Outside they had a model elephant which was a nice touch. Service could be better we ordered drinks and waited 30 minutes and asked the waiter 4 times for them and they kept forgetting. Food is also buffet style so not the best quality

I went there yesterday and i feel i have to write the review here which i usualy dont write but this restaurant i have to do. The food was lovely tasty and atmosphere is beautiful. But this man who stand by receptionist and take the payment is very rude and told me this restaurant is not charity when I asked for a child age that needs to pay for the bill. He told me a child over 4 years old.i explained my sons are 3 and 2. They are not needed to pay for their bill. He told me bluntly said this restaurant is not charity. I feel offended by what he said or meant by that.

I recently dined at Aagrah and I was disappointed with the experience. When the bill came, I noticed that the prices were significantly higher than what I expected because they charge separately for tye rice or naan etc. But a curry needs to be accompanied by something, so just include it in the price. Or when you see that someone goes above the buffet price, let them know...

It's always 10/10 when we visit Aagrah !!

Had very bad experience. Not good place for ladies. Seen abusive behavior and staff does not take any action. Food also was ordinary. Will not suggest if you are going with family. Not good for family.

Food is absolutely vile if I could score 0 I would !! What’s happened to this place used to be nice ? Kebabs are raw in the middle samosas taste like absolute rubbish pakoras ??? Or just batter like come on and to top it off we’ve come home and got really bad stomach aches what a waste of money. Stood and watched the old chef in the back pick his nose then put fresh naan out sickening

The food is very nice and plentiful at the buffet. Fantastic choices. I have 2 questions to ask please. Firstly it was very smokey which caused problems with my chest problems and I had to use my inhalers why is the ventilation system not working or dont you have one. My other question is about the clearing of the table. We hadn't even put our utensils down before staff were pouncing on us the clear away the plates and what they assumed were finished plates. This isn't nice and made us feel rather uncomfortable. Why does this happen. We will come again as the food is lovely but hope the things I mention improve. Thanks

Touqeer went out of his way and served my family and ensured we were well catered for, because of him we will be making sure to have this buffet restaurant as our go to place for any family dining events

I would have given this a full 5 stars but the food was better last time I attended. The service for my table was very good. But unfortunately there was a young waiter who spoke very abrupt to other customers and was repeating the same time many times.

Ample parking, gets very busy at weekends. We had the breakfast menu. I would highly recommend for all the family a really good choice of traditional and Desi breakfast items fresh puri. Fresh naan. I particularly liked the Nehari and Paya. Something for all the family.

Had brunch on Saturday was seated promptly, had great service by the waiter but the brunch at £14.95 each and extra for juices coffee/tea totalling £45.00.I think this was expensive for what you got, the fried eggs were all broken omelettes were cut into little squares and no bacon with only tiny sausages. Great selection of fruit marshmallows etc. The restaurant has had a full renovation and now does not serve alcohol it’s lovely but very dark inside, we won’t be having brunch again.

Having s buffet is worth the spending, because, if you want to eat several tasty dishes, it'll cost you more for one dish. You have tasty sweet deserts to taste, Halwas: two different types, carrots Halwa and original Halwa. And sweet rice is perfect, cooked spot on, I've tasted sweet rice, it has to be cooked right, and most buffet restaurants don't have sweet rice, Halwas. You pay over £21 and under £22 pounds. You pick two or three dishes which normally cost more than £10 pounds, so, thumb rule applies, eat several grill chickens, lamb meat. And having sweet deserts afterwards, and you've had over £30 pounds worth of meal or more to be frank. The food was cooked right or wouldn't have aren't again at Aagrah Midpoint Restaurant. It has advantages over others, with selection and sweet deserts on offer.

The food and options were good. It's very busy so better to go early. Only negative is drinks are not included and have to be ordered separately which are quite pricey. Juice, tea and coffee should be part of the brunch, speciality drinks should only be what you have to order if you want that

Recently visited Aagrah Pudsey Kashmiri Restaurant to sample their buffet, and our experience was largely positive. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, with plenty of options to satisfy diverse tastes. The kebabs and starters, in particular, stood out for their freshness and flavor. They regularly made their rounds, ensuring that we had everything we needed and promptly clearing used plates, which contributed to a smooth dining experience. The main dishes and desserts maintained the high standard set by the starters. Each item we tried was flavorful and well-prepared, demonstrating the kitchen’s commitment to quality. Despite the restaurant being very busy and filled with the lively buzz of people talking and laughing, the atmosphere remained enjoyable. However, one notable downside was the music. It was a bit too loud, adding to the cacophony of voices and the clatter of cutlery. A lower volume would have allowed for a more comfortable dining environment. Overall, our evening there was delightful. The excellent food and attentive service made it a memorable experience, with only the loud music detracting from an otherwise perfect night out.

This place was very good a few years ago. Went recently, The food was definitely not fresh, and im sure they have cut down on variety, there was much more choice before. Anyway im sure i got food poisoning here. I was out for 3 days. Plus side the parking is good and its easy to get to, so 2 stars is the best i can do.

food luke warm, curry sauce had separated in tub with oil sat on top. naan bread cold. First time ordered but won't recommend. not impressed at all

This is the second time I have asked for extra mint sauce, 3 starters and a fresh salad to share for two and only one little tub of mint sauce, I complained last time to be told we are too busy and it won't happen again and it did, I have been a regular customer to for over 20 years back to the days when it was on Leeds and Bradford road and never had a problem, Good food always, But feel now it is going backwards, A lot of my friends feel the same

If I could give it zero stars I would! Worst buffet I’ve ever been to. The food variety and the fact that you have to ask for certain foods like chops is just outrageous. The so called shammi kebabs were paper thin and again only 1 per person. The food was not nice at all. Everything was overly spiced. Lack of options to say how much they actually charged approx £22 each!! How can it be called a buffet when you have to queue up and request items? And they limit it to 1 or 2 per person? It’s daylight robbery for how much they charge. It’s not worth it at all! I don’t understand how they’ve gone so downhill?! Quality of food was poor, service was bad, and the guy at the counter was not bothered about any complaints or issues we had. He just wanted our money!! I don’t usually write bad reviews but had to be done as these people are robbing people and not providing the right quality of food for the money we paid! Never making the mistake of coming here again!!

Not as good as it used to be! The food quality and standard of the Buffet has slipped considerably. I used to love the salad bar with all the different fresh lettuce- now it’s like slushy and horrible. The curry was really salty, the quality overall wasn’t as good. The lamb chops were hidden and rationed! I wish they’d charge more and bring back the standard…..Also - you can’t enjoy a beer with your meal, which I would be willing to forego if the food was better! Looking at the ridiculous amount of food that customers were packing away though……I guess something has to give!

Place is ok to try once. The puris were greasy that’s normal but the state of suzi halwa was the worse I’ve ever seen. It was like a river of oil. Halwas are supposed to be dry. Few other stuff looked oily as well. Deserts were ok for kids. Customer service is good.

Tiny portions over priced and delivered clap cold, I have to say I expected more from this chain having enjoyed dining at there restaurants, food delivery sadly for me was exceptionally poor.

Don’t book any slots online- says they are available but in fact they are not resturant doesn’t even have the decency to let you know it is not available either..we assumed it’s booked and when I called 4 hours later to confirm they advised it’s not available so ruined our whole plans for the day do not use the online reservation system!!!! It’s not a reservation system at all! Person on the phone was really rude too basically said I’m a waiter can’t do nothing- when I asked why have the availability online he said I don’t know we can’t help it.

Waste of money third class food

Attended for the breakfast buffet at 12.30, 2 adults and a sleeping toddler. We asked for a table for 2 or 3. Told wait would be 10-15 minutes. 30 minutes later after several larger families and couples were seated we were still waiting. Finally, after reminding the waiter a second time we would happily take a table for 2 or 3 we were seated. The only way to describe the buffet and seating area is chaos! Very unpleasant and not at all a relaxing dining experience. The ques for the hot food started outside the buffet area. The final straw was to discover there were no clean plates ready to use. Suffice to say we did not stay. Very disappointed. We will not be returning.

Food was nasty. Fried fish was awafull and smelly. Informed staff but no one was bothered. Other food was cold. Halwa was burnt. Over all zero star food. Guy on till is very moody.

Having been a visitor for over 20 years of this group I can’t believe what they’ve done! Taken out the warm welcoming bar, stopped serving alcohol completely. Allegedly spent a lot on a refurb, for me it’s like a dining hall with lines of long tables. It feels like a cafeteria not a flag ship restaurant. The soft drinks were of very very poor standard and staff were unfriendly, quite rude at times and so much food on the floor diners with poor table manners clearly. Plastic plates and bowls that were small and reminded me of eating school dinners. What management chooses to do this to a business? I’m so disappointed and the whole place has lost elegance and style.

Left with severe diarrhoea. Contacted Aagrah via email who said they would investigate and get back to me and have since heard nothing. Very poor customer service and we obviously ate something not quite right for both of us to be affected so quickly after eating. Definitely would not recommend

Family of 4 all ate here last night and all have food poisoning. Phoned the restaurant to make them aware, who basically called me a liar. Terrible customer service.

Great food/atmosphere/value for money... however the waiter came across as really rude and grumpy, the front of house and kitchen staff were very friendly. This was my first visit, so would have been nice for someone to have explained how everything worked.

There's some poor reviews of this place, we went the first night of our stay at the Travelodge on recommendation of staff there and a guest. Being originally from Oldham I know a good curry when I get one. No alcohol (meh), we'd packed some in our case for the room so no worries. We ate off the menu rather than the buffet and were more than pleased with the quality and volume of our dishes. We would have returned the second night we were stayig but they had a private event on and we had to suffer KFC.

We did a setup at Aagrah, the staff were ok, but the atmosphere was brilliant. The room was spacious and clean.

Had Sunday dinner their with my family. Children loved it, have been before. The food was tasty, nicely seasoned and well cooked. What was disappointing were the profiteroles.

Had came from Newcastle and one of my colleague highly suggested , the food was lush and service was also good . One of the waiter asked in a friendly gesture and where we were from (we had a chat in urdu) was really dedicated to his job. Tried seeing his badge name to mention here but couldn't see it properly . Was brilliant overall

I have been to the restaurant it's quite famous in the area. Very nice place with lots of parking. Restaurant has lots of sitting arranged for customers and because lots of people in their with their families are a little conjusted. Food is delicious you can find lots and lots of dishes sweet and curries as it offers buffet. Their customer service is remarkable, especially i would say Mr Ali Shah is the best guy to speak with. Overall experience is very good. If you want to go for tasty food with family, this place is for you.

We visited on a Tuesday which is not a crazy busy day. The atmosphere was quite cold. The music was nice but very loud. The staff were not in a good mood at all. Food was not being replenished, some starters had gone rubbery, maybe been there too long. The staff was not refilling the food at all. My nephew asked for 2 chops and the server gave a very unhappy look that he wanted more than one! We had one staff who was very nice, very helpful and polite, Kamran. He actually made us feels happy about being there. When the gulab jamun finished the staff said they don't have any more. But we then asked Kamran and he brought a bowl of 6 gulab jamun, nice and warm. Kudos to Kamran..👍 I was invited by my brother so visited here , but don't think I will be coming again soon. Sorry.

Average food and ripp off Buffett prices, the food was greasy and not much variety.

The food was reasonably good. The waiter was friendly enough. The one thing that really bugged me though was that even though I had already ordered a mango lassi, I was told it was 'restaurant policy' not to serve tap water! It wasn't like it was the only drink I wanted to order. This is the 21st century, Aagrah. Change your policy!

Excellent service, Amazing food as always

Starters were lovely.. mains were average.. service was alright but was given the wrong drinks! Felt very closed in where we were sat.. its all very strange from how it ise to be, plus we were seated next to a family who's children were quite loud and messy, not what ya want on a date tbh!

Quality food and Quality Service

So we went after seeing a show and to be honest we were shocked by how poor it was. To start when we arrived, we were shocked to see there was not a car park that was big enough for people to park in and it was poor. Then when we went inside the only way I could describe it was like an American diner and it felt extremely cramped and we only found out then that they did buffet food (buffet food which in my opinion would not be good and you would have more decent food at a Toby Carvery). Then when we sat down we were then told that the only drinks they offer are soft drinks and when we requested for water it was only "still" water they allowed and not tap water. When we enquired why this was the case the waitor then said it was due to new management. However when we booked originally we were not told at all this. Personally I found the experience really poor and we felt like as if we were not treated well. I would not book again.

Went with a friend to see what the new refurbished restaurant looked like, the food and service were fine, they NO LONGER OFFER TAP WATER, we’d ordered other drinks but my friend wanted water to take a tablet with and were told only mineral water was available which is a shame as this is disappointing in a restaurant of this type.

Good ambience, and attentive service from Shahzad, every time the food arrived on the table - it just looked so wonderful and delicious! Everything was amazing but what impressed me was the service, Thanks! Shahzad and his team for this wonderful work

We went for a family birthday meal, after Aagrah has been recently renovated, the decor is nice. As it has been recently renovated, there are many more tables very close to each other and not enough room between tables to get in/out of seats if a family is sat, this was quite uncomfortable as some other tables had families/young children too. The food was ok, starters were really good, mains are ok but not something we as a family was keen on but some still enjoyed them, the desserts were lovely. Would possibly come again, service is good, atmosphere is ok, but the tables are very close which put me off this time.

In Ramadan they over booking for Iftar time they saying there is no booking for this name. Very disappointed with that. Very rude manager. Very bad management. Very very bad customer service. Treat people like dogs. Manager was swearing on people and on his workers. Not a place to visit
