Popped in last night before a gig at The Wardrobe next door.The interior is stylish the service was good quality hotel standard.My wife had the chicken masala and I had the chicken jalfrezi both were excellent with nice sauce and vegetables.The mushroom rice was great.I would highly recommend this restaurant.Thankyou

Great food and amazing service 💕

We had been for a dinner on a Saturday. The ambience was nice and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The service was quite good too. Coming to the food, we had lassi, a tandoori platter, chicken sindhi biriyani, family naan and butter chicken. The starter was good especially the fish. But we found the main course to be bland. The biriyani was served with some vegetable gravy but I would not recommend the biriyani, simply because it wasn't flavourful at all.

Good service with usual Aagrah food.

We came in at 8.15 on Wednesday evening and it was such good service. Food came quickly, servers were attentive and polite. Portions were huge and food was incredible. 10/10 recommend.

The vegetarian food was not up to mark. Lahori cholay and Paneer mutter were identical in taste. Both had excessive turmeric which meant they were a day old and had to be reheated. The garlic prawns were divine. Really good. The service was top notch.

Visited on Sunday night. There was an excellent and tasty Indian buffet for just under £20. Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Apparently the buffet is available on Sunday and Monday.

This place tries too hard and loses the authentic sub-indian cuisine feeling and flavours. My days, the menu is an absolute car crash. Too much is on offer, and this is where it goes wrong. Food is mediocre at best. And I tried all three of the food on the table, starters ans mains. There was no service. We had to wait for what seemed like an eternity to make an order, and at one point, our drinks order went walkabout and had to take it again. No criticism of the staff. The lads are all great. Staff are friendly. But boy, they know how to not look in your general direction when you are trying to get their attention. If we had clicked our fingers at any time, I think it would have been justified.

When the food is good from here, it's great. However, like a lot of other places, it's super expensive (for a curry).

We thought we’d give this restaurant a try as we normally go to Bengal Brasserie when we visit Leeds . We’re really pleased we tried it as the customer service was excellent . We were allowed to relax and enjoy our whole night . The timings of the poppadoms , starters and main courses were all perfect . We were allowed to enjoy each course without feeling rushed and too full . The food was delicious, and there’s such a big choice on the menu . Lovely restaurant surroundings too . We will definitely be back next time we’re in Leeds.

Fantastic in every way! Service was attendive but not overbearing, friendly but still formal. Food arrived promptly and was absolutely excellent. Will be recommending Aagrah for years to come!

Food was ok. Average. However what ruined the experience was being rushed. As soon as you finish the starter the main was there. As soon as you finished that the warm cloths and the bill arrived. Then a few minutes later whilst we were chatting amongst ourselves and still drinking our drinks the man came with the card machine. No chance of another drink to let your food settle. I made a comment about the fact I’ve never been so rushed and he didn’t even blink. It wasn’t like the restaurant was even busy!!! Not the service I was hoping for. We had planned to go at Christmas this year but I think we will have to find somewhere else. So disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The food is some of the best curry I've had. The staff is very attentive and do everything in their power to make your stay exceptional. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

My friend and I went to Aagrah on a Friday evening. It was busy but the restaurant maintained a great atmosphere and the staff were very attentive. From being greeted kindly at the door, all staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make our experience special. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic and delicious Indian food.

We went for the buffet with for a work team social. Great service and a lovely variety of food. All fresh and plenty of veggie options.

We ordered a takeaway via Uber eats. The chicken bhuna was ridiculously salty. The naan tasted stale. My husband had toast for dinner because the curry went in the bin. We will never order from here again.

I haven't been here for quite a while so it was nice to see that the standards are still high. We had the buffet and found there was plenty of choice to suit most people although another rice alternative would have been nice. Certainly lots of starters and a fair variety of sweets. The staff were attentive without being over the top but I could have done without the guy sweeping up around the tables during service.

the food was amazing. me and my wife tried difference curries to normal and it was amazing. the staff were so friendly and over powering and actually showed me the correct way to eat a curry to get the full flavour. Thank you again

Highly over-rated. Poor quality, oily and monotonous food. Ordered vegetarian food and it was in a pool of oil and all the curries taste the same. The vegetables were stale and frozen. The naan was poorly cooked and moist at delivery.

Too early as we wasn't ready to eat yet. The portions were only half full. We have been to privately own takeaways and they have been bigger portions. Very disappointing considering they are a big establishment!

We went to the wrong restaurant. Should have been akbars Eastgate was meeting up with family Wish we had stayed at Aagrah restaurant. Aagah 5 Star. staff, very polite. Atmosphere very good.Akbars like a cattle. market.all, so not disabled friendly 2 Star. They were lucky to get that. If you were wondering how we know about the service, at Aagrah, we had a drink in There we was shown to a seating area, and they brought our drinks to us.

We had a wonderful night, we came for the buffet on a Sunday and not only was the food delicious but the service was excellent. We came a little late so the buffet had closed but the staff had brought whatever we wanted straight to the table. I could not recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you!

A lovely meal and great service.

The atmosphere was calm, cool and welcoming. The welcome we received from all staff was everything, I absolutely loved it. The food was great, you can eat as much as you want for less. I particularly loved the rice, chicken and the fish. The dessert was complimentary for us and unfortunately I don’t know the name but I tell you the best was saved for the last because I loved it (you can check my pictures for the dessert). You have to pay extra for your drinks. It was a really lovely time there and I’d definitely be visiting again. I recommend! You may book for a group as large as 10, we all had a lovely evening. Food is halal (for Muslims)

horrible experience, food arrive nearly an hour late, stone cold. driver had a go at me for not being able to find my apartment -which is on the main road!!!!!!!!

I loved the food! So many options!

Really disappointing order from Aagrah. One of the two curries ordered was missing and the one that arrived wasn’t either of the curries that we ordered, along with being tasteless and separated. The rest of the order was bland and cold, we couldn’t finish our meals (the dishes that arrived!), wouldn’t order from here again, especially with so many great curry houses in Leeds.

As always the food was delicious. We had the Prawn Paratha and marinated Sea Bass starters which we shared followed by Balti Paneer and Saag Paneer mains. Unlike many places the taste sensation continues through the starter & the main. The service from Dulon & Amir was excellent. Will most certainly be coming back. Best curry in Leeds

We were here to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and the staff were fantastic, they made everyone so easy taking a pre order. The food was gorgeous, everyone commented on how much they enjoyed it. Definitely give the Chicken Palak a try! The service was super friendly and quick and the staff made us feel really special and taken care of. I would absolutely rate this place and recommend a visit to anyone.
