The best restaurants in City and Hunslet Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Wanted to like this place more but the food is only okay - and some of it is terribly bad value, though weirdly some other dishes are quite cheap .. it's quite a nice dining room, staff and service are good but the food is mainly mediocre and some dishes are very expensive ( for example the cured meat board is actually a plate with about 10 small slices of Salami/Bresaola priced at £17!) ... It's not a bad spot, but I was expecting a bit more

A well put together, fun place with a focused and interesting menu. The place has more of an informal luxury warehouse vibe instead of classical elegance, which I think it could also pull off and would be a better fit. But this is splitting hairs, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Great food and service. We were walk-ins and were sat immediately. Selection of food and drink was great, tamarind duck and pad Thai were both really good.

Assisted by Tyrell. Top bloke. Sorted out the scoring method and kept checking we were ok.

Fantastic Sunday lunch served by sociable staff in an excellent atmosphere.

Very disappointed! We have been here many times before and you could see my husband’s last review was five stars, but how things have changed. We wanted to come back so I have tried to book by messaging twice but I have got no reply to either. More so I have rang twice and left voicemails, again I have never got a call back. If this is the way you treat returning customers then we’ll find somewhere else to go. How can turn down what would have been over a £100 booking is beyond me, but it’s your loss.

We arrived and were greeted by Yasmin who was lovely and explained to us immediately that the chicken was sold out and only had lamb left. This only impressed us as there wasn't much lamb left either. We got the lamb shawarma in Khobez flatbread. Each sauce, salad option was explained to us and also gave an incredible recommendations throughout choosing sauces and salad. Oliver was also extremely friendly and courteous We were sat and our food was brought to us by Oliver. Let's just say we enjoyed it to the last bite! Will definitely be back for the chicken shawarma wrap soon!

This review requires only one word. WOW!

Ramen could definitely be tastier. I tried their special miso ramen and the meats were tender and all but the broth was lacking. Also tried their fried katsu set, it was good. It was really worth it to go when they had their bento lunch deal but now they have a la carte deals instead. Waiter is unpleasant to everyone and that completely ruined the experience for me. Its such a small store, horrible service is going to be amplified. Overall I wouldn't recommend, so much better eateries in Leeds just a few steps away.

Service was great. Helped us pick out what we wanted to eat and it was delicious. Definitely recommend🔥

Made a special trip out to visit this bar on Sunday the 30th of April, outside notices stated open till 12.00am, arrived at 10pm to be turned away as finished serving at ten, no explanation given so don't know if the opening times are incorrect or if there was some other reason, we won't be returning.

Lovely little cafe, bar and events space on the edge of town. Regular pop ups and gigs so well worth checking out what they've got going on.

Amazing food. The nicest Indian food I have tasted since my trip to India a few years back. Delicious, delicate, fresh tasting dishes beautifully presented. So much better than your average Indian restaurant in the UK. We were a party of 9 people so I had a taste of every dish everyone had ordered, and every single one was superb. The staff were lovely and the ambiance of the restaurant is just perfect. Highly recommend and will be back again
