Very cool place with a plethora of north beers in the fridge, the starter wasn't to put liking as the pigeon was very well done, pretty tough. The roast on the other hand was amazing. Had the lamb shank and it fell off the bone. Plenty of gravy and a great Yorkshire pudding.

I’d wanted to try this place for a while but we had a mixed experience. Some of the food was great (the chips were unreal!) but we were underwhelmed with some other food. The Korean fried chicken wasn’t great, and the combination of Guinness and goats cheese on the cauliflower dish (which sounded very intriguing) was actually just extremely bitter, lacking any flavour balance. A shame given the prices. It also got really noisy, so would have been better if we were sat further away from the bar. Overall, wouldn’t come back again which is a shame.

Food was extremely disappointing. Which is a massive shame given how much I’ve heard about the place. My partner had the beef roast. He received one slice of beef - cut to the thickness similar to that of packet ham you get from the supermarket. I ordered the winter stew… it was not stew, it was roasted veg in oil, and by oil I mean drowning. I had to pour it out onto a separate plate to make it edible… they barely had any wine in, and when asked for a recommendation, the staff knew nothing, given the price we paid, and time we spent waiting for food - I would not recommend. Sorry to be the one to write this but we are upset by this visit.

Nice little spot away from the busy centre with attentive service but average food. Had the BBQ brisket from the special board that was more like a roast beef joint you'd have on your Sunday dinner, not what I would expect of a brisket. This was accompanied with a very rich and salty gravy and an overly aromatic mash. Not to mention £8.50 for a single can of beer that was literally brewed down the road and £3 in Asda - a bit naughty if you ask me. Heard good things about the food so can only assume that because it's limited time dish it hasn't been perfected.

The Roast Sunday lunch was lacking in items, no stuffing, no mash and the only vegetables were 1 roasted carrot and a small amount of crushed peas, ( my partner did say it’s different to what is displayed on website so the manager brought out more carrots and peas) The chicken come out fine but the shoulder of lamb was chewy and fatty. The picture on the website is very misleading as it looks like a proper Roast Sunday lunch. The perfect way to end a hectic week! Me and my partner had heard nothing but fantastic things about TAC Leeds and so decided to venture down for a Sunday roast. However, despite the roasts looking superb coming out of the kitchen, we decided to go for the 48h braised feather blade. The beef was cooked to perfection with fat like butter and portion wise extremely generous for the price! To top it all off we had the pleasure of the head chef, Andrew, come out and talk us through the dish which was an extra special touch! All in all fantastic food, fantastic team and fantastic atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back.

This is a bar and restaurant I’d say, with a good offering of food and drink, some cocktail deals, and menu and drinks deals midweek. I went on a Sunday, and they have rolling menu, which I imagine is great for regulars. I personally wanted beef which was on their website, but it wasn’t on that week. I thought the roast was a little smaller than I’d have liked, and the meat offering was small and fatty, and only crushed peas (with delicious bacon lardons) and a slice of half carrot for the veg. More veg, like parsnip, would have been good. Overall it’s a firm 3/5 from me, and the service was lovely by the way, great staff.

Enjoyed a very pleasant Sunday lunch here. Food was very well cooked and presented. Staff very friendly and efficient. The interior retains an industrial yet cozy vibe, that lends itself to a casual dining experience close to the centre of the city. The roast beef I had was perfectly cooked, as were the accompanying veg and generously proportioned Yorkshire pudding. A seperate pot of gravy completed the picture. I look forward to further visits as the menu changes with the seasons - the focus on seasonal, local produce is to be commended.

Visited Threes a Crowd for the first time for a friend's birthday. First impressions were good - decor is welcoming and the staff were pleasant. It was relatively quiet for a Saturday evening and I think the reason is the prices. £24 for a bottle of house red is a complete rip-off, but that was much cheaper than the other wines on offer. They must have mark-up of 100%. The meal itself was a mixed bag. I had the fish and chips, and it was amazing - I didn't mind at all the £19 price. It was clear that a lot of thought and effort had gone into it and the ingredients were excellent quality. A couple of the starters were also enjoyed by my friends (scallops and burrata). My vegan friend was disappointed with her main option (there was only one) and my friend whose birthday it was was also disappointed with his fish option (portion very small). I was not impressed at all with the 'heritage' tomato and goat's cheese starter. How they have the audacity to charge £8 for 4 thin slices of pale, unripe salad tomato on splodges of runny, bland goat's cheese with an olive oil and pesto dressing is beyond me. It must have cost them 50p to make at most and a matter of seconds, so £5 would be the maximum to charge. It didn't even come with any bread/crackers/croutons. When I complained about the quality of the heritage tomatoes, they simply argued with me that the tomatoes were indeed heritage, rather than apologising and offering a discount. They also asked at the start if it was a special occasion and we said it was my friend's birthday, but then didn't do anything to acknowledge that, so I don't know why they asked (other restaurants might give a free drink or dessert to the person in question). To sum up, there are some gems on the menu, but a lot of it is overpriced and the service could be better. I don't think I'll be going back.

The drinks were great but the food was not that great. The fish and chips' fish tasted like the sea (raw fish). It was huge but just really not only no flavour but also a really off smell/taste. The Guinea Fowl was not terrible, but overcooked and super salty (and I am a salty food eater, but this was too much). Potatoes are half cooked inside and overly cooked outside. I would definitely go back for drinks but not food. Service was ok, except that for some reason we were not given the tapas menu, whilst the other tables seem to receive it! Not sure why. All together no more than a 3 star for this place.

Came for a roast on Easter Sunday and absolutely loved it! We’d been recommended Three’s a Crowd for a veggie roast and it didn’t disappoint - it tasted like an actual vegetarian had made it, and not like an afterthought put on the menu just to say you cater to veggies. We came here after a civil ceremony in a large group of around 20 of us. The staff were friendly and attentive, with them serving drinks to all of us. The food was great, with the starters coming put promptly - the chicken lollipop tasting amazing. The fish and chips were fresh and tasted amazing. We had two issues, the first being that the timing of the food was delayed - in particular, the mains took a while to come out post starters . The second is that once seated, it felt like there were way too few waiting staff for the group size. All in all, a really lovely dining experience

Strange choice of music for an evening meal (example being - Groove Armada - Superstylin'). The Reliance had an effortlessly cool vibe complemented by excellent food and drink. Unfortunately Three's a Crowd has failed to hit the mark. To me it now feels like a 'generic' Gastro Pub, it's lost its character and its uniqueness which set it apart from the rest. The interior refresh feels overly designed, as if trying too hard. The waiter we had was lovely and provided great service but the whole atmosphere felt far less relaxed. The food was good, but with a change of chefs it was always going to be different, and I think for a while at least, and perhaps unfairly, it will be compared to what was (The Reliance) which we all loved.

A great find for Leeds! Fantastic quality and atmosphere. The food was really excellent and the service was great. Both Olivia and Andrew were really attentive and kind. We had a really lovely evening here, would definitely come again. (Especially for the lovely arancini)

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Service was great. Very attentive. Cosy atmosphere- we sat in the back away from the bar area. The only complaint I have is the food and the price. Our table ordered the cod, fish n chips, the fruit crumble, sticky toffee pudding and the dark chocolate tart. It was nice but I cannot justify the price of it. We also had to order sides with the cod otherwise it would not have been enough. The crumble was overly sour and the dark chocolate tart was small and if anything, a caramel short bread. I don't think we will be visiting again. Just noticed some of the reviews are for Reliance. This is not a true reflection of the restaurant. Disappointing.

Best fried egg north of the Severn Estuary! Recently moved to Somerset but wanted to show off my Leeds credentials to my other half. Tribeca City Cafe fulfilled all expectations with a superb full English breakfast and coffees to match, all served promptly with refined professionalism. Had a friendly chat with the owner who definitely deserves your custom if you're anywhere nearby. If you can find your way to the magnificent Leeds Town Hall then this superb basement gem of a cafe is only a few yards away. Extra tables at street level also if the sun shines. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent as always. Can't think of anywhere better to stop on a long journey home. Only a small detour from the A1. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Both website and Google maps advises it’s open at 07:00, yet popped along at 7:15 and was unclear it was ever going to open again.
