Located a short walk from Huddersfield train station, this is a traditional pub with friendly staff and a great selection of beers. Very reasonable price also (about £13 for a round of 4). We didn't have food but the menu looked great and very good prices too. Lots of big screens dotted about also so would be good for watching sport also. Lovely pub.
I was served by a lovely lady who was very patient pleasant and knowledgeable. I had a fruit juice which was blended with fresh ingredients and was so refreshing. I also had a harrisa sausage roll which was divine.
Would definitely recommend to anyone.
This was always my 'go to' for Fish & Chips and recently took my disabled dad for a treat, after singing their praises.
2 portions of fish & chips. Came with a small fish and only a few chips and cost me £20. We were both left feeling disappointed.
Purchased 10/04 around 3/4pm
Had our Grandsons first birthday party here on Sat the 25th, what a great little pub/venue, perfect for the 25 invited guests, all staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the bar team had changed shifts by the time we left so could thank personally, so thought I'd do it here. The only complaint I have is that I live too far away to have this as my local. Thank you highly recommend!
Popped in while car having new tyres around the corner.
The guys there recommended it and they weren’t wrong. Great coffee, fresh tasty sandwiches and lovely staff.
Clean and tidy with a nice atmosphere.
My partner and I dined at Armaan for the first time last week following regularly reading great reviews on local Facebook pages. The reviews were very accurate indeed! We arrived around 6.30pm and the restaurant was very quiet - I expect it gets busier as the evening goes on. The waiter was very friendly and courteous and the restaurant had a very comfortable and spacious feel to it. To start, we ordered paneer pakora to share which was very generous and oozing with flavour. For the main, I ordered the chicken tikka masala and was pleased to find that it could be customised to my taste - mild to moderate. My partner ordered the Karahi fish and also praised the infusion of spices. The main meals came with a sundry side and between us we opted for the pilau rice and naan - both great portion sizes for sharing. All the food was freshly cooked, not greasy and great value for money. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and independent restaurant experience with great prices.
