Bosco's Coffee Shop in Kirklees

Nice coffee and cake. Staff friendly once they realised the southerner in their cafe was chatty and lived in Yorkshire!

We actually went to the Cleckheaton Bosco's but that's not on here yet. I'd seen this place driving past and wasn't sure if it was dog friendly but it was. Really nice decor inside and a few different things on the menu than you get elsewhere. We'd nice service and not long to wait for our food. The panini and sandwich were both nice with a fresh salad garnish. We picked a couple of sweet treats for afters too from the selection behind the counter and they were again nice. After we got chatting to the friendly owner our pooch got treated to some chicken for doing some tricks.

Lovely sandwiches on a choice of bread. Can recommend the egg mayo with crunchy bacon bits on granery. Good selection of cakes and treats too again go for the Bakewell slice, you'll not be disappointed

Gorgeous place, really nice food, lovely atmosphere and service. I don't normally look at this but it's really noticeable how spotless it is!!!

This is a lovely busy little coffee shop and deli. There is a large selection of sandwiches hot and cold and also deserts. The sandwiches are available in different breads. I tried the chicken with jalapeño peppers sweet chili and mixed leaf salad and it tasted fantastic. The coffe was perfect, not bitter as in some coffee shops. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Overall I found this to be extremely good value for money and is a real little gem in the heart of Birkenshaw and I will certainly be back.

Microwaved scrambled egg, nice clean place but a little expensive for what it is, sorry girls but i'll give it a miss next time.

Lovely place to eat. Great food. Nice atmosphere. Great choice of dishes. Reasonable prices and fast and friendly service. Visit here regularly now and have always had excellent service. There is a very large selection of food so you should have no problem finding something you like.

I haven't had the opportunity to come here for years so was interested to see if it was still as good as my last visit in 2014. I needn't have worried, our coffees were excellent and the cakes and hot food I saw other diners eating looked amazing too. I hope to be able to return soon for a meal.

Lovely little sandwhich and coffee shop. Very small but perfect for light lunch and a catch up with a friend.

The service was lovely and the cafe is cute. The food however was very basic and didn’t taste the best in quality. The prices certainly do not match the quality of the food. I won’t be coming back.

The outside appearance was welcoming. There are pretty tables and chairs outside but it was a bit cold so we decided to go inside. First obstacle was entry to the premises. I use a stick to assist my walking and the outside step is high so I had to grab on to the fence with my good hand. Inside was well laid out and the menu looked inviting. I had a goats cheese, ham and pesto sandwich on ciabatta. Yum yum. Cappuccino coffee tasty and frothy. The customers on all 4 tables were friendly. The manager was friendly too. A happy place to have refreshment. Needed a hand to dismount the step so I won't go alone.

Coffee ok. But a toasted current tea cake done in a panini press not good unless you like a fruity piece of cardboard.

Visited with my daughter for lunch. What a friendly and cosy place. Great menu and good service ....I chose Goats cheese salad whilst my daughter had ham and goat cheese panini. The food was well presented and delicious. We’ll definitely be visiting again...next time for breakfast.Highly recommended

Grabbed a cheeky cappuccino whilst on an errand for my dear old dad.Nice and handy if you are shopping locally.

Delicious food and lovely friendly staff. Since I first wrote this review we have returned several times and every time been greeted with a pleasant smile and a friendly greeting. Every time we have been served absolutely delicious food. Going to Boscos is an absolute treat for us we enjoy it every time. We've recommended Bosco's to family and friends who have all said the same. I can't wait to go back again. Can't recommend this place enough

We don't know the are and was on our to the Ikea shopping area. We didn't want a Costa coffee or a meal from a large company with plenty of franchises on each street corner. We drove past and saw the chairs And tables outside. Parking is road side only. The steps for anyone struggling with their knee joints would struggle on their own. Also no hand rail and this would make visiting on your own problematic. But once inside we were greeted by all staff members. We choose our food and wasn't let down. The food is very fresh and the front of shop is clean. We both ate our food. The food was presented very well. I would be very happy to return.

Number one place, the food is fresh and good, I recommend to everyone.

Arrived in the area very early having had no motorway issues and had an hour spare so popped in by chance.The breakfast offering was predictable and the extent of the bread to filling was an issue, so asked for the bread to be cut in half and that made the sandwich very enjoyable.The coffee / tea were ok (better than most) so really enjoyed my impromptu breakfast.Worth a visit, if your passing yes, but would have no issues going back.

Popped if for a coffee and first impressions were very good the lady was friendly we told her it was our first visit so was very welcoming we decided as everything looked good we would have a cake too which was tasty. I sat reading the menu lots of choice and a big sign saying they would make other combinations. Coffee was good my companion had green tea couldn't drink it in the time we had no problem put it in a to go cup n lid for her. I think they have been trying to extend their hours to remain open in the afternoons I hope they are sucessful

Friendly attentive staff with good food at a reasonable price. Let down by the toilet area which needs serious attention, no hot water, broken toilet seat, no light.....

He ido a Boscos un número de veces. Los bocadillos son excelentes y tienen un inventivo, con combinaciones de selección creativa de ingredientes que nos gusta probar. Es un lugar popular y gente caída en todo el tiempo para sándwiches para llevar. Un buen café.Mi única queja es la incómoda disposición de asientos en el interior. En su mayoría las mesas de cuatro. Necesita más mesas para dos personas. El aparcamiento es en una calle concurrida, esto puede ser complicado.

My wife and I stayed in Birkenshaw for a few days, and this was a frequent spot for breakfast and lunch. Friendly service and really tasty food. Note that they don't accept credit cards.

I'm not saying Birkenshaw isn't classy I hasten to add! Friendly staff, freshly prepared food and quality coffee. Highly recommended and a cut above the other eateries in Birkenshaw. A shame Boscos doesn't open on an evening.

Yo sólo viven por la carretera de este lugar. Recomendaría el sándwich de pollo con trozos de tocino cabida en granero! Mi favorito personal! El personal es muy amable, puedes conseguir comida para comer en el hotel o para llevar. Tienen una amplia variedad de alimentos en el algo del menú para todos los gustos.

Just down the road from where I live and always an enjoyable meal. I love the breakfast panini on Saturday mornings they always fill a gap. Keep it up. Maybe think about doing jacket potatoes on a Saturday!!

Birkenshaw is not known as a culinary destination however for a snack Bosco's is the place to come 7 days a week. This is the second time I have visited here. They had run out of jacket potatoes and I did not want bread so I had a goat's cheese salad and a coffee. The salad was priced about £3.75 and had 3 generous slices of goats cheese and masses of fresh and tasty salad - it was superb and unbelievable value for money. The coffee was great quality and served with a delicious (homemade?) biscuit. The girls serving are friendly and efficient. There is no competition to this place in the vicinity and so you cannot go wrong coming here.

Staff are always friendly, the food is alway nice and filling for a reasonable price.
