Good food, friendly staff and great service. I have been coming to this place for years and have never had a bad meal so I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a good Italian take away.

Celebrated a birthday here lastnight. The food was fabulous, had a range of tapas and pizza, beautifully cooked and presented. Great atmosphere, staff attentive, friendly and professional. Thanks for a really good night Nicola and Martin!

Had a lovely afternoon at the open mic session yesterday. A lovely country pub with friendly staff, a great atmosphere and we were made most welcome by the locals .....we will be back 😊☺️

Hands down the friendliest and consistently great quality food restaurants around! The lovely lady who runs this restaurant clearly loves her job, the restaurant, her staff and her customers. Honestly the nice vibes in here are contagious as soon as you walk in. Weve been here probably about 6 times now, and have had the best experience every time. The attention to detail in their interiors isnt missed either, they will redecorate so nicely for different occassions and offer new themed cocktails too (think valentines, halloween, mothers day, you name it!). I only hope the longest success for this place, and its already a super long established restaurant!

Visit quite regular. The Food, presentation & service is incredible. Licensed too now so don't have to bring your own as previous. Great selection of drinks. We had the sharing platter to start - followed by 2 x curries the a selection of rice. All presented very well and the flavours are amazing and fresh. Thank you all. Well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

Superb products, quick service and a small playground for the kids

Yes...its a YES from us! Five people fitted in a last moment, in a busy restaurant, with zero drama. To be fair, not sure about the vegan black pudding, and the corn fed chicken needed something green on the plate and, did we are being picky, the chocolate sweet was not really a fondant, but that IS being picky. Over all of this the excellence of the linguine, the brule and the service makes this a "must repeat" experience. Thank you everyone at The Foresters!👍😁

Agreed to swap out an item in the £8 breakfast for 1 hash brown. Ended up charging £1.15 extra for a single hash brown on an overpriced breakfast

Disgruntled owner who can't do toast correctly, over priced cold weak americano,tea was expected to be drunk from a children's cup & saucer ,take your own mug & sachet of coffee if visiting 😉

I have never experienced such haphazard service at a restaurant. Although it was a busy evening there were plenty of staff and this may have contributed to the lack of coordination. The incompetence started with the drinks order. A bottle of wine arrived on the table about 15 minutes before any other items. The food service was OK and we asked for a doggy bag for a nice piece of leftover fish. Unfortunately this request was ignored and the fish was thrown away. After waiting about half an hour for the dessert order we were told that the kitchen hadn't even received it! We decided not to bother. Although apologies were received no compensation was offered.

Mothers' Day: what a way to spoil the day. We arrived and waited for our allotted time. We were sat and we waited and we waited. We actually waited 55 minutes before the food arrived. On arrival my wife (who's Mothers' Day meal it was) received a frankly cold meal. It was taken away and reheated (allegedly) to approaching tepid. My Sunday Lunch would have been okay if I'd ordered a child's portion! The bill received I gave my feedback. The manager stated the kitchen was busy; so? They took the booking after all. A percentage was taken off the bill but I gained the distinct impression the manager felt this had resolved everything. I wanted a good experience at full price because a reduced priced bad experience is still bad. We shall not be back and we are local!
