We stopped off here mid-walk and enjoyed a couple of coffees, tea and a couple of their breakfast bagels (one bacon and one fried egg) The bagels made locally were delicious and the staff were really friendly. Very reasonably priced too!

Super fresh sushi made daily in front of customers, wide selection to choose from. Tasting available at certain times of the day too to try for free. Selection of dry goods also available such as miso soup, wasabi peas, a variety of noodles and the famous well known crunchy onion. Range of sauces and Japanese drinks such as Ramune Lemonade, Sake and Beers are also available.

We had a delicious meal here. They had just closed but took pity on us as we’d been driving for hours and served us up what were among the best pizza I’ve ever had. Authentic, family run, friendly- very happy to have experienced this place. Would highly recommend, thanks for looking after us.

Luckily for us we swerved the Premier Inn next door and booked here at Al Bivio Top service and food and a lovely venue with atmosphere and warmth. The staff were so welcoming, the service was exceptional and the food was amazing at a very reasonable price. Met at the door, asked if wanted to hang out coats, seen straight to our table, very attentive staff with a smiles and a genuine warmth. Would definitely recommend 100% and will return when next in the area

We had quite a mixed experience at Al Bivio, where we had to eat as the neighbouring Premier Inn had made a hash of their evening meal provision. We went on two occasions: an excellent pizza, with a generous home-made base, and a delicious pasta dish with chicken and white wine. However, from the Specials lists, a lasagne was quite tough, and my seafood risotto over-salty, though I would add that it was generously filled. A pet theme of mine: this restaurant is NOISY! Not one single absorbent surface anywhere, just a bare glass frontage and plain walls that reflect sound. Having a conversation in here feels like hard work.

Family trip out for brunch and keen to see what it was like after the refurbishment. Busy on a Saturday but lots of staff. Service was very, very slow and breakfast not what it used to be. Burnt edges on the toast, overdone bacon, no mushrooms and waited 15 minutes just for a coffee. Won’t be rushing back.

Stayed two nights a few weeks ago. Rooms smell musty, carpets grim. Breakfast was a shambles, messy, running out of food and drinks, no crockery. Person on reception didn’t wan to be there. Excellent location is only plus.

Unfortunately food took too long to come out of the kitchen..it wasn't busy... Then I had to go chase my sides!! Food kept under the hot lights for far too long especially sliced bread... It tasted stale and crispy.... Peas were shriveled up again sat under a hot light too long!! Onion rings over done the batter was inedible... No check back done to ask if everything was ok either!! Burger was really dry... Fish fingers were cheap and mainly hollow best part of the food was the salad that we actually asked to have removed off theeals but it came anyway..... For the cost of the food I wouldn't recommend here!!!!

Popped in for a drink and some tea whilst staying at Harrogate Showground. Food was superb served with delicious home made chips. We had steak pie with fresh vegetables and chicken skewers the gravy on the steak pie was phenomenal and the chicken was tender and juicy. We usually visit two or three times a year and we have never been disappointed.

Shop weekly here. Will be sorry when little restaurant goes 11 April. Some items still missing from shelves. Last week it was sugar free sweets, liquorice torpedoes. Other weeks been Barista textured, some cat treats. Things missing vary from week to week but still feel it better than other supermarkets

Ordered takeaway. Awful, won't be doing that again. Was cold when arrived, live only couple of mins away, two pieces of potato and one piece of cauliflower, onions raw the rest was chilli and spice and no veg sauce, burnt my mouth. Husbands tandoori mixed grill so small it fit on a side plate. I threw most of mine
