Brunch and Brew in Harrogate

Small café at rear of industrial units which can easily be missed. Typical lunchtime fayre on offer (baked potatoes, sandwiches, rolls, pies, snacks and drinks etc) at reasonable prices. Lovely friendly service. Can be a little slow if busy.

Dropped in this morning to See if its as good as the reviews. At no fault of theirs they had no sausage and black pudding so a breakfast wasn't going to be for me. asked for a spam and egg sandwich to take away. Undercooked spam and still soggy, small two pieces that was obviously from a square tin, hard fried egg that was clearly a budget one. The Bread bun was ok but for £4.00 this wasn't worth it. Parking was a nightmare and it just had a feel of it being well below par.

Bought a jacket potato to take back to the office. Started eating it and it was under cooked. Hard in the middle. Not inedible so I persevered with it as I was at work with no lunch alternative. Then discovered a gross black bit that really did put me off and I couldn’t eat any more. The potato was rotten. Won’t be going back.

Lovely breakfast in a nice relaxing atmosphere served by super friendly people. We stayed down the road at the Premier Inn as some of the other reviewers have. Although we generally like any of these hotels their breakfasts are usually poor and expensive. With qty rather than quality being the driving force. This place is a great find and only a 5 minute walk. Don't be deceived by the outward appearance and the industrial estate area as the inside looks and feels great. After eating the only thing we regretted was one of us not ordering the ham cheese and egg on toast like in the massive picture on the wall as that looked amazing. Gives us something to look forward to next time.

Good choice of food for a grab and go or relax and enjoy. My favourite is soup of all types there and I love it.

Just a quick note to say if you’re looking for a great sandwich in Harrogate then Brunch and Brew is the place to go: love the variety and quality offered and the beef salad or BLT is a sure fire 10/10 sandwich. Cheers guys and keep them coming. Ps, friendliest in Harrogate too!!

Been meaning to come here for months and glad I did today. Very friendly and chatty staff, great menu, tasty food, and reasonable prices. I ordered a ham & mushroom omelette with a side salad and a cup of tea. The tea came in a cute individual teapot/teacup ensemble. On request, my omelette was cooked with Frylight instead of oil and the side salad filled half the plate (great for following the Slimming World plan). I was even asked if I wanted onion with my salad ( I didn’t). I’ll definitely return.

Have eaten my lunch here a few times and the food is great (would recommend the sausage rolls) Very friendly staff. Good quality, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

So don't expect any thing fancy. What you do get is very friendly staff, good service and excellent food. From bacon butties, mighty full English to well filled sandwiches and the best normal coffee around. All at proper prices.

I work nearby to Brunch and Brew, and their whole menu is fantastic. Their breakfast is nice and large, their lunch offerings are varied and never bland. They always have a huge selection of cold foods, drinks, snacks, fruit and cake. Don't let the location or exterior fool you, this isn't a rubbish cafe! If you're close, go and make the most of their extensive menu!

I’ve been using Brunch & Brew since it opened and from day one, I can’t fault the quality of the food or the friendly welcome from the staff. The food is always freshly made, is very tasty, offers great portion sizes and always offers a good mix to delight the tastebuds. It’s definitely worth the walk into Hornbeam Park to try the daily offerings. Keep up the good work Elaine, Cath & Brad! Jon

I work around the corner and visit Bruch and Brew on a regular basis. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My favourites are the bacon butties, panini's, wraps and burgers. I miss the daily specials they used to do so wish they would bring them back.

I often pop in here for a takeaway lunch. It's cheap and cheerful. Good fresh sandwiches etc, snacks, soups and all day breakfasts. The staff are very friendly and obliging - happy to suggest veggie and vegan options. My favourite is a spinach and feta omelette with side salad. Good value, honest fare. Always seems busy. Several tables to eat at.

Fantastic staff, great food, low prices, convenient hours!

Ok the exterior is not fantastic but the team have transformed the interior into a very pleasant café and take away. Great selection of hot food on offer from the hot sandwiches (bacon & sausage is pretty good) through the traditional breakfasts, lite bites, jacket potatoes, panini, toasties and burgers. If you prefer cold there are a wide range of freshly made sandwiches, salads etc to cater for all tastes. There are a wide range of meal deals available and this is popular with those working on Hornbeam Park and the students at the college. It can get very busy at peak times (between 12 and 1:15) but you can call and order by phone. All in all good quality and well priced food.

The food is great, but the service is really slow and I waited nearly 20 minutes for my food and only ordered a panini. I wouldn't have minded if i was in a big group but I was on my own. Real shame the service let them down

Fantastic service! if your in a rush and they are busy..... its worth the wait. Great, friendly staff and exceptional food (its a cafe) Specials every day and if you want something a little different they will make it for you. Exceptional customer service, and always with a welcoming smile. Guys you do a great job!

I have been to Brunch and Brew many times - I usually have a big order to fulfil to take back to our office. Elaine and her team could not be more friendly or helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and the food is always delicious, and very affordable. We have had a huge range of items from the menu, and every item has been thoroughly enjoyed... we now order lunch here when we have guests as we know it will be fab!
