Ordered takeaway. Awful, won't be doing that again. Was cold when arrived, live only couple of mins away, two pieces of potato and one piece of cauliflower, onions raw the rest was chilli and spice and no veg sauce, burnt my mouth. This is an unassuming but fantastic Indian takeaway, probably the best bang for your buck in Harrogate. It's cheap, excellent portions and great cooking. I've been ordering from them for 5 years and it's always great. Don't be confused - this is a five star place, consistent and cheap.

Not great; lamb Ghaty (meant to be fairly hot was not at all) was packed mostly with chunky peppers and onions, lamb was over cooked and dry, dish was sweet and not as described just as the far spicier Chicken Bombay Special described as various herbs & spices. In general lacking in flavour and overpriced at over £25 for two mains a rice and some breads. Delivery requested for 8pm and turned up at 6:20pm which didn't help having to keep the dishes warm. Will not bother with this place again.

Just eat should be ashamed of themselves endorsing this restaurant, ordered at 6.30 tonight said on website 40 mins to hour still waiting for it to arrive at 9 pm, restaurant just lie when asked about order, not even hungry anymore

Just the WORST WORST WORST telephone manor and delivery I've ever experienced. Your food is good - for goodness sake get someone else to take orders / answer the phone. RUDE UNINTERESTED ABRUPT hung up on me before I'd even finished the order and had to call back. Try to force a smile upon delivery - I know it's hard, especially when I only order from you around once a week for over 3 years.

Absolutely loved the curry’s at Woodlands Tandoori. Fresh tasty and delivered for free. Now changed to Woodlands Pizza. You need to collect for the best deals. Pizza was far from great and actually very sparse on topping plus they only take cash! Won’t be rushing back!

Just moved to the area and this is only a few doors away! Always wondered what their pizzas were like so tried them last night and pleased to say that they were fantastic! Also We had two 2 think crust pizzas for £13!! What a surprise that was. Would definitely recommend, we picked our pizzas up as only 2 mins walk away.

My curry was delivered within 15 minutes despite the supposed wait time of 50 minutes. I was very impressed with that. The Naan bread was good and the curry although certainly worth the cost, did not seem to have much favour about it and the mixed kebab starter was was 8 chunks of meat in a dish.

I can not fault this takeaway at all. They are polite on the phone, we always get the food delivered, it always arrives hot and on time. Exactly the reason why we are returning customers!

Rang up and ordered meal at 4.30 .they said 5.30. Sadly I arrived at 6pm with no construction. I will not but ordering again as this is the normal..SADLY FOOD NOT TO BAD AT ALL YOU NEED TO BE MORE ON. TIME .....

The worst delivery service in Harrogate!! Lied to my wife, have no respect for women. Then when speaking to myself total different story, they just thought the little lady could be fobbed off. No food after '3' hours, but kept telling my wife it was on route. Then told me no order had come through. Total liers, terrible, terrible sevice. Avoid!

Great curry. 4 stars as the rice was a bit clumped together but other than that very tasty. Will order again soon

We have used this takeaway twice. The first time we had to wait hours and many phone calls before our food was delivered. Today it was delivered much quicker. Food appeared to be tasty until I found a huge piece of plastic in my food. Rang them and the driver came to pick up the piece of plastic and said he would return with a refund. Needless to say this didn’t happen! Rang 3 more times but no refund. Avoid - just awful!

Woodland do that really annoying thing where they include a plain nan or pilau rice in the price of all their special curries. I don’t want either of those, I wanted the lemon rice with my curry, but there’s no way I’m going to order it separately as an addition. Why do they do this? Can’t say what the curry is like because I didn’t go through with the (online) order.

This is an excellent takeaway, food is always really good from here I recommend the chicken madras. All dishes very reasonably priced

The food is fantastic full of flavour, if I am sitting in I love star beck tandoori but this is by far my favourite take away. I order from no one else.

Woodlands Tandoori aims to deliver within 40 minutes but you seldom have to wait as long as that.

The best take away by far for Indian food, we refuse to go elsewhere, Curries are lovely and tasty good quaintly ingredients used. Highly recommended

Got a takeaway delivered last night ,that was 15 min late , this might explain why it wasn't very hot , cold soggy chips & 1 of the main meal was also not that warm.

A great indian takeaway. Lots of tasty dishes with a good level of spices and flavours. The service is always good and fairly quick.

In my eyes this is one of the best Indian take aways in Harrogate. I'm reluctant to going elsewhere. Good food, good service, can be a little slow delivering but that's part and parcel. Recommended

Shocking don't bother, terrible service. Ordered a takeaway and had to ring several times to ask where it was despite them saying the delivery driver was round the corner

we had takeaway last night is uncool my wife have pain next day -is not true Indian takeaway -just name all harrogate.

We placed an order on Saturday night, my daughter had ordered a chicken burger they called to say they had sold out of chicken burgers, we asked for a biriani instead and I said to just charge the extra they refuses and said it was their fault so there woudl not be any extra charge that blew my away, then the food arrived in minutes and was fantastic my new favourite takeaway.

Good food ordered for a speedy delivery. Quick service with lots of choice. Lots of food options and opportunities to have an Indian meal

Great Indian takeaway on south side of Harrogate. Great tasting food day always piping hot. Enjoyed very much.

Popped in on the off chance for a quick supper to take back to our chalet at Rudding Holiday Park. Selected a choice of starters, samosas,tandoori chicken, kebabs, and so on. All really tasty, big portions, lots of fresh salad and dressings. Enough for a big supper for 2 for under £15. Great value for money.

Order from here regularly, it is our preferred takeaway. Always good, ready on time. Extensive menu and reasonably priced.

3rd time now they have quoted a delivery time third time an hour late and food cold so turned away. Will never order again.

We went here on the last weekend in October and having been before found the food just as outstanding and would certainly recommend the food politeness of staff.

Our group, 4 vegetarians and 1 meat eater, ordered a take away to be delivered to the Harrogate Caravan Park on Sunday 14th August. We were off to the theatre in the evening, so it was important that the meal was delivered at the time we requested. It arrived at the site gate exactly on time and every last morsel of it was delicious. We'd all recommend it, not only for being so tasty, but as it was not at all oily, it felt like a healthy treat.

Ordered a take away at 6.47pm reminded them at 8.00pm they said they were on there way at 8.30 still not here telephoned and politely asked where it was phone put down twice phoned again ten minutes later phone put down again do not waste your time

Absolutely the finest takeaway I've come across in Harrogate! Great service, Great atmosphere, Delicious Food that never fails to impress. Worth every single penny. Highly recommend it Definitely going back there again! :-)

Probably 4th or 5th time we've been and always had great service, ready to pick up on time and fantastic quality, extremely tasty food freshly prepared. If you find some main courses too much to handle they do some great mains in starter form which is a bonus.

Food arrived, not very hot (temperature-wise and spice-wise), delivery service unfriendly and abrupt. Very disappointing.

We enjoyed a fantastic takeaway from Woodlands whilst visiting friends in Harrogate over the New Year period. The food was fantastic, fresh and flavoursome. I can especially recommend both the Lemon Chilli Special, which had the right combination of heat and sourness, and also recommend the korma.

Ordered for delivery at 7.05pm told food would be 45 mins Turned up at 8.45pm sent food back Do they need new batteries in their clock or bigger hands to help them tell the time

Not usually keen on Indian take outs but this one was spot on, more curries on the cards. The food was clearly freshly cooked . Good start to a newish business

The take-away hasn't been open that long but has become my favourite take-away Indian.
