Ordered a chicken tikka masala, chapati, chicken tikka balti and a side of popadoms! Food arrived lukewarm, microwave to reheat was needed!!chicken tikka pieces inside the balti were finally diced making the actual curry look like there was no meat at all. Over £30 for the order i think was steep,as you don’t get much for your money! Food should be arriving hot!

Food doesn’t taste freshly made. Very sloppy. They didn’t include in the takeaway delivery our 2 chapatis and when we rang up they said they’d give us 4 next time!!! Very disappointing

Never again!!! Avoid !! We found something black and hard with a sharp end in our food about 4cms in length. Items of our order were missing. They did not refund us the missing items after we rang up and complained. Food was far too sweet more like a dessert.

Late and we had to drive around to find the lost delivery driver

Ate the best Biriyani I’ve had in years tonight. Fluffy flavourful rice and a delicious curry sauce. I opted for mild but next time will try the spicier one!

I have to tell people about the “Garlic Chilli Chicken Curry” I had… absolutely incredible!!! I spoke to one of the chef’s and took his recommendation. Not something I would typically order, and it was fairly spicy, but packed with flavour! That is now my “go to” dish for sure!!! Thanks guys 🙏🏼

All round a good Curry house! Tikka masala was fresh,keema rice was good also! Onion baji was soggy! Portion sizes could be bigger! £24 for takeaway for one.

BEST MADRAS EVER! We had chicken tikka starter, onion bhaji, lamb madras, paneer passandar & lamb byriani. Recommend all of the above! The service was quick and super friendly. Thankyou. We haven’t stopped talking about how good it was! Unfortunately don’t live locally or we’d be back every week!

Food was nice but given the wrong sauce. Ordered Masala sauce and got curry sauce. Spoilt the dish.

Really shocked to be leaving this review as I have been ordering from this restaurant for many years and the food has always been brilliant but after receiving my order this time I can’t relay the level of disgustingness, the quality of all the food was unacceptable, totally inedible, absolutely appalling and will not be ordering there again- maybe new owners,? Im not sure what it was but absolutely no way the meat in the curry was chicken, it was almost of a foamy texture. Really disappointed!!

Stumbled on this gem while looking for food delivery and craving a spicy vegetarian Vindaloo. It didn't disappoint. Service was fast and the food was great. Have not had a chance to go in person yet, but def. will do takeaway again.

We used to use their takeaway regularly. However, last time we used them the order hadn't arrived half an hour after it was due so we called. From the frantic conversations on the phone, it was clear they'd forgotten about us. Tonight we phoned when it was 15 minutes late and were told it was on its way. After another 15 minutes we called again and they said it was definitely en route but to call again if 5 minutes if it had still not appeared. So we did and were rather grumpily told they'd said it was on its way. The food finally arrived around 45 minutes late without even an apology. Sadly they've lost our regular custom.

I ordered for the first time just out of curiosity as there was a deal. Absolutely glad I did, their food was incredibly tasty, such lovely flavours (I ordered the Goan curry with white rice and a doner in naan). Safe to say it will now be my go to place for a good curry!

Ordered from here last night & food was spot on. Well cooked, well spiced & quickly prepared for collection. Owner was very friendly & welcoming when I arrived. Portions were decent size with plenty of meat & flavours were great. Best curry I’ve had in Harrogate for a long time. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

First time trying this takeaway, and it will be the last. Had chicken tikka balti, now I have had this many times but never with coconut milk so not very nice. Naan cold, even after me watching them make em fresh? Samosas we’re very small for the price, the onion Baha’i was weird and am guessing bought in frozen. Sorry Masala, but I had to report this poor food one to remind me not to buy from you again and to be honest and hope you change how it’s made.

Cracking menu, food delivered early, reasonably priced though it's cheaper direct from their website! The menu is smaller on there however. Don't expect any extras thrown in. Food was great, my wife tried the Mint Chilli for a change and loved it. Overall another extremely positive experience!

I've ordered from this restaurant many times and had lovely food but this time my meal was loaded with onions and hardly any prawns. Bit disappointed but the food is usually good and really tasty.

Lamb was very chewy & not up to the usual standard. Very disappointing.

It’s not often I write reviews but given the absolutely stunning takeaway food I ate recently from Masala I have to offer my huge thanks for The testa sensation I experienced. The service and welcome was nice to receive but the skill and passion that produced the meal my wife and I shared with friends warrants a big thumbs up. Well done to you all for a great job. This really is the best Asian/Indian takeaways food that I’ve eaten and we will Back. Very lucky to have this in Harrogate. Well done Shauna and I look Forward to the next meal. Mark

Great take away. Obviously the atmosphere isn't great as it's a takeaway but service and food are excellent.

Do not use these website!!! Ordered online website said there was an error. They have taken the money I have sent them a picture of the payment being debited from the account. They weren’t satisfied with this and refused to send the food. The then told me to come down and sort it out but wouldn’t agree to refund the delivery. I have been a customer of theirs for close to 20 years and have always thought of them as the place to go for Curry in Harrogate, and order on their website as it is better for them. The customer service or lack of in this occasion was devastating poor. I am beyond Disappointed, but will have to find a new place to order from.

Got a lamb not chicken madras which was very mild for a madras.

We’ve ordered takeaway curries from Masala for years now. We wouldn’t go anywhere else, the standard is consistently high. They have a superb range of veggie options and always generous portions. We can especially recommend the shahi vegetable masala and any of the biryanis. Great food from a friendly team, so good that despite moving out of the delivery area, we drive in to collect our curry now.

The Just Eat Delivery Drive was incredibly rude. Complaining that the address was not right despite it being the registered address. Very rude individual.
