Stopped here for a takeaway brunch while on the A1 heading north. Busy cafe. Good choice, good food, well cooked. Thanks to Adam and Steve. Certainly worth the 5 minutes off and 5 minutes on. Ample parking outside

Great bakers to visit for cakes, bread, savouries and sandwiches. Friendly service too. Highly recommended for visiting.

The best Indian food that I have experienced in my 18 years in Yorkshire. The Chicken Naga is the best dish I have ever had and the varki was beautiful too Everything was so flavourful and fresh. My new go to takeaway. Thank you guys 👌 Terry.

My brother Ron and i allways call at the Tap on the Tutt ,its a regular stopping point for us after visiting a car boot in the area, Ron has a bowl of chips while i have a very good pint or two of Tim Taylors Beer ,,The pub has a nice atmosphere and we are well looked after by the bar staff ,,We allways enjoy our little break at the Tutt,

This fish and chip shop is amazing we travel from wakefield and we certainly wouldn't do that unless it was worth it we shall return

Hii, the owner of this restaurant. I went there 2days ago with family and friends almost 10 people.The food was good. But staff behaviour very rude and disgusting. I ordered main food and the serve me but when I again ordered food. Without done my food They said now oven is off pay the bill and leave the restaurant. They don’t know how to speak with customer. The men the age 45 to 50 said to me Asian people always create problem it means they had a issues with Asian people so why the name of this restaurant is Indian😡😡 Teach your staff how to behave with customers. Very ridiculous service and staff I never ever recommend and come again.

I don’t normally write reviews but I just love this little cafe so much that I feel the need to share my experiences. The breakfasts here are honestly the nicest that I have tasted anywhere. I actually drive all the way from nr Saltburn to visit, takes me over an hour. I do eat meat but frequently have the vegetarian breakfast. Beautifully cooked poached eggs, really tasty seeded toast, avocado, halloumi, beans, everything tastes really fresh. Their coffee is really special too. The staff are always really friendly, cheerful and attentive even when they are really busy. I hear them chatting to their customers as they are whizzing about, they obviously have lots of regulars and you can just tell that they really care and genuinely enjoy what they do. I have a dog and they are really dog friendly. I have a little campervan and Boroughbridge is an excellent stopover place. You can park at the back of the main carpark overnight for a £5 donation. Lovely walk down the river, breakfast at PLENTY, have a little potter round the shops, few pubs to choose from. It really is one of my favourite little stops.

No longer a Best Western hotel and has been completely refurbished by the new owners. We paid a visit for lunch and it was lovely, can highly recommend. Ignore last year's reviews.

25 people of retirement age were served with a splendid 3 course lunch from a pre-selected menu. The food was delicious and served by the friendly staff. Elaine & Brian were most helpful with the menu choices and with the organisation of the dining room to seat us all comfortably. Thank you to you all

Well worth a visit if you like Fawlty Towers. I asked if he could turn a light on in the snug room and he went on to tell me in detail about his utility bills. I offered to remove a few bulbs as I only needed one bulb to read my paper. I ordered a drink and was asked if I wanted 2 drinks. I was alone so I didn't need 2 at once. It was explained to me that there's a 2p charge for each transaction. I found this amusing and so did the other 2 customers who had previously been sat in the dark. The landlord who sits in the other dark room drinking a soft drink heard the laughter and asked me to take my custom elsewhere . I did.

Ridiculously expensive. Two bacon sandwiches and two coffees just over £19. The breadcakes were cheap supermarket standard with two small rashers of bacon. Go to one of the other cafés!

Yes definitely, great pint well looked after beer and lager best pint in village. Actually the cheapest pint also but they are a free house and not greedy. The whole roast was fresh, meat to die for! proper home made gravy only wish we had eaten here before, lived here 1.5 years always dined at others in the village. I judged a book by its cover!! fully hands up its dated and others in village are more modern but wow thankyou so much 💗 it's the actual owner that cooks too, very rare these days. I'm so glad we didn't have starters though the plate was very plentiful indeed. Thanks once again will definitely be back next week .... perfection, quality price and service 💯
