¡La peor pizza que he probado! Sinceramente, si pudiera dar cero estrellas lo haría. Absolutamente sin sabor y totalmente exagerado por debajo. ¡No impresionado! Chips también mal. Se busca kebab de pollo & no queda pollo a las 11 : 30 lm Sábado noche. Boooo

Ordered 4 kebabs for a family treat, won’t make that mistake again. I had the shish mixed kebab & some fries, the lamb shish was just lumps of flavourless gristle which was so tough I couldn’t actually chew through it, the salad was just a bit of onion & smaller amount of lettuce. The doner meat, though plentiful, was a very odd beige colour, exceptionally salty and dripping in grease. It was all drenched in yoghurt sauce & there was a cold hard unsliced cheap supermarket style pitta thrown in a separate bag to accompany it. Husband had a donner kebab & fries & daughters had dinner meat & chips with a pitta each. The chips, again were plentiful, but were chewy & tasted like they’d been reheated. All of us ate less than half, and only that much because we were starving. I wouldn’t even give the pile of remaining meat to our dogs. Emphasis seems to be on quantity over quality here so probably ok if you’re drunk/a student, but if you’re looking for something vaguely appetising of decent quality look elsewhere.

We had a great dinner here. Exactly what we needed. Tasty food, really friendly and helpful staff, and great service. We would definitely come here again.

Used to be ok but definitely gone down the hill. Donner meat was a horrible colour , tasted extremely salty and felt like it has been reheated from the day before. Was a regular customer as is my family , definitely must have changed hands . They used to send out a free garlic bread tomato with a substantial order but they don’t bother . Won’t be going again and neither will my family or friends

Walked in for our tea pizza and a chicken and donner kebab, we are quite regularly always been satisfied but tonight wed 21 June 03 don’t know why but the pizza was awfull and I couldn’t eat the kebab the chicken was rubbery,and Donna meat was full of grease and horrible .. unfortunately at over £20 to go in the bin we won’t be coming back

We are visiting York and were looking for something to order in for dinner. This came up as a local legend so we decided to give it a try. Turns out we made an excellent choice! Despite it being a saturday night, our food arrived in about 25 minutes and was piping hot. Portions were really big and food was delicious. Definitely recommend you try here!

Late night kebab, which was fine. Meat was ok, lettuce and onion, and sauce not bad. Sons cheesy chips were great and recommended

Ordered at 11 said be here at 11:45 got to 1:40 still no order I am absolutely disgusted and will never use them again

Would highly recommend. The chicken Parmesan is one of our favourites and a good serving. Pizzas are tasty and good value too. Staff very friendly.

Staff were pleasant enough but the food was flat. Bland as buttons. The only salad is onions and lettuce ( diversify god Damn you!); the chilli is mere tomato paste; the chicken was tasteless and bland. All for a hefty £8. Which, even by York's standards is pretty pricey. I did actually complain in person which didn't go down great. They just gazed at me like I was on fire. Which i wasn't Ace! For paying nearly 10 pounds for a meal you would expect far better than this. Awful waste of money. Not exactly rocket surgery to get this right. Awful

Spent just shy over £40. 2 Pizzas ( which were nothing special) Chicken kebab. Worst thing is they give you yoghurt, who in their right mind puts yoghurt on chips. I asked for garlic mayo. Chicps were not great and overall a bad experience.

Came in & spent £33, very disappointed as I have now been advised should have been entitled to something free but as we'd had a few for my friend's birthday it seems they tried to get away with it! The food we got was mediocre at best, you could certainly notice that owner wasn't present tonight!

We ordered a pepperoni pizza which was fine. Cheesy chips - well you can't go wrong but tasted a bit greasy. But generally fine. But, my husband really fancied a chicken kebab. This is where we were really shocked / annoyed. He asked for salad but no sauce. What we received was a piece of pitta bread ( fully expected a naan bread for the price ) and a pile of chicken in a container which was extremely dry. FOR £8!!!!!!!!! We cannot believe it. We ordered here through the good star reviews on JustEat but I'm surprised if anyone is satisfied with this kebab. He has had to add his own salad and sauce which he didn't want but he can't possibly eat it without through the dryness. Really disappointed and feel completely ripped off. Cheers Istanbul Grill!

This is my favourite spot for a keebab. Staff who recognise you and know your order. Tried others due to location and quality of meat is just not the same as here. Well done guys

The kebabs from here are fantastic. We had the Chefs Special which was big enough to share and was really tasty. Salad came separate so was not soggy.

We always use Istanbul Grill for take away and the food is always good and arrives in under half an hour. However, we ordered delivery in October and were not told about a long wait; after nearly an hour we called the take away and...

Absolute poo food, all over the place, do not recommend. Rubbish kebabs, would definitely recvomend all others instead of this one since after this visit, I don’t think I’ll be eating kebabs again ever!!

Yes I agree with most people but not all . Staff are nice and friendly. But I would not recommend it for an evening or anything but a stack after you are pissed up.

Ate here for dinner and food was great. I had the lamb kebab which was very tasty and moderately priced. Highly recommended

We have used Istanbul Grill on numerous occasions and the food is always delicious. As well as being reasonably priced it is always delivered pretty quickly and hot.

Not bad for food & price and was ideal for us travelling back to our B&B after a night out in central York.

We've been here three times over the last couple of years when staying in the Novotel York hotel. It's a lovely walk along the river to get to it and 3 of us can eat for £13 (two 11" pizzas and a side of coleslaw)...

Chicken kebab was fresh and flavoursome - very nice chilli sauce that seems made on the premises. Only downside is that it is pitta bread again but i;m learning that this is the way things are in York.

Got a kebab to take away again as we visited in February. Again good service and very fresh salad. Everything separate is perfect if you want to take it home to eat as the salad stays fresh. All my reviews are based on genuine first...

Delicious food, good people, quality service and amazing prices, highly recommended in Yorkshire. If you are muslim, this is best choice for pizza you can have. I liked it a lot.
