Wasn’t expecting much but after a long day away on business I noticed that this place was now on JustEat and they deliver. Ordered a large pizza and was delivered prompt and piping hot. Absolutely fantastic. Well cooked, tasty and delicious! Fantastic! Will most certainly be ordering again. Even called the manager this evening to say how excellent they were....

I had been used this takeaway for a matter of weeks since its opening, in fact. Since I am on my own, after a long hard week of working, a takeaway is my treat. There are many takeaways in Ripon but the food isn't good, or the prices are astronomical. Hence the reason this place earned my custom being reasonable with good food. However, after a stressful week, I phoned to place my usual order, only to be told they were refusing to take my order as it was "too cheap" they had a minimum spend of £10 (I have to add, my order came to £10.50). I had no apology from the stroppy girl with a bad attitude on the phone, and had to complain via facebook, for the manager to respond with something along the lines of 'enforcing new rules'. There is NOTHING stated on the menus about a minimum spend so there is nothing they can legally enforce, the only thing they can achieve is poir customer service and loss of custom as a result. This place needs to learn professionalism and use less prejudice against people who aren't overweight with ridiculous appetites.

Park Parade
We booked the Porterhouse Restaurant based on the photos on TripAdviser BUT we were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant to be told that it is no longer a Steakhouse and has not been a Steakhouse for 2 years!! We however decided to stay for dinner and my husband was pleasantly surprised by the steak. It was tender and cooked to his specification. I had the Beef, ale and mushroom pie which was a bit disappointing. The pastry was very soggy, the broccoli was so overcooked it was basically mush and the new potatoes were very overcooked. One plus was that the cutlery was presented in a sealed packet although the condiments were what we would have had on the table pre-covid. I did see a waitress wiping down the chairs and just changed the table cloth but the condiments were not wiped down If we had a choice, we would not eat here again.

46, A1(M), Wetherby LS22 5GT, United KingdomChanced upon this food cart at the A1 northbound service centre in Wetherby. Had the traditional cornish pasty - it was served hot and was delicious! Except for the hand-crimped part of the pastry which was too doughy, the pastry and filling tasted great together.

Wetherby RoadJust popped in for some lunch , luckily we got a table it's a very nice place quiet ,very chilled staff were nice .I ordered the beef brisket sandwich it was very nice and succulent but I've got to say for the price when it turned up it was extremely small ,whilst my my friends were tucking Into a big plate of fish and chips and a nice chicken burger I kinda was left disappointed , only order the beef brisket sandwich if your on a diet

71-75 High StreetCalled in for dinner with the family. Nice spot for a bite to eat and a swift half on a cold winter afternoon. Would come again.
