Went in for breakfast and it was absolutely lovely. Bacon was really tasty. Best spoons breakfast ever. Staff were really pleasant.

Had two glasses of wine. First glass was filthy, second one wasn't even a wine glass, staff were arguing between themselves, not impressed at all. Would have probably stayed longer but bit in those surroundings

Met up at the crown in Knaresborough yesterday to meet my brother for his birthday. It was easy to get served considering how busy it seemed to be. There was a lot of empty plates left on tables however the staff where non stop and seemed to be working hard. 2 members of staff caught my eye Holly and Ed, they had smiles on their face and were non stop. Would definitely give a heads up for the effort and will be visiting more often. Cheap beer and friendly faces.

Lead Manager has no customer service skills. Treats customers who have previously had bad experiences with her and targets them. Very unprofessional and when she took my friends drinks off them, just after paying for them, she laughed. I was being accused of something she said she heard me say about her and that was final. I had the backing of other customers and after asking that I wanted to make a complaint, I was shown the door. Horrible women.

very busy, food was de-lish( i order chicken tikka every time i go to spoons) where ever we are, but the kids enjoyed their jackets potatoes too, floor was filthy though needed hoovering, maybe because busy i dont know🤔, but ok.

Pleasant experience overall, great value drinks , cheaper than Harrogate spoons. Had a few scoops , I was most impressed my the warm and welcoming atmosphere and cheap drinks. I was served by lovely helpful and smiley lass , I think she said her name was Holly. Smiley and tattoos anyway. I will be back soon. Keep up the good work team knaresborough spoons.

been in here for many bevs, laurie's bar service is exceptional

Have had breakfast here many times with the family, always lovely and the service from that young lad laurie was great!

Stopped in for a bite and some drinks. There was plenty of seating and the drinks selection was excellent and well priced. The bartender, Tash, was very friendly and gave me some helpful suggestions on what to try next, all of which went down well. Worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Staff are very friendly especially the Irish girl Natasha, food was great and the place had a great atmosphere

Unfortunately I spilt my food down myself. The staff were vigilant and brought me everything to clean myself up. Was unexpected and appreciated. Big thanks to hollie you are a real asset to the team.

Quite busy for a dinner time, nice pub staff were friendly and polite.

I used to like Wetherspoons but it's pretty poor now. The food is pretty awful and service not brilliant, it's not the staffs fault, we visited on a Half term Saturday so very busy. There was one person on the bar trying to keep up with serving everyone on a very long bar, he did a good job despite people complaining. The food was truly awful, burnt burgers, I could have soled my shoes with. My friend had the wrong food brought, we'd all finished eating, as much as we wanted to, before her replacement meal arrived, which she sent back. There seemed hardly any staff, the ones that were there did their best but also some supervision might have helped. We won't eat there again. The best thing you can say is there are cheap drinks. Our table was full of dirty glasses and plates and my friend cleared them and had to queue with people waiting at the bar for a cloth to clean a sticky table. Sorry I hate to say but from being impressed by the Wetherspoons formula I won't eat with them again.

A decent Wetherspoon but nothing special

A large and popular Wetherspoons on the main road in town.

Just another wetherspoon's . Usual food selection. Very busy when visited on Sunday, but still served quickly and very little wait for the food to be served. No car park to be had . Parking is wherever you can find it round and about in Knaresborough centre.

A lovely Irish bartender made me feel very at home while i was on my own. She was a lovely person and a very good bartender.

A fairly typical Spoons. Great value for money. Friendly staff. Not too busy.

Plenty of seating available. The ambience is good. Toilets facilities are clean and spacious. It's definitely worth a visit whilst visiting Knaresborough.

Pretty solid Wetherspoons. Quite small and comfortable - the perfect place for a small get together and drinks.

Typical Wetherspoons, cheap booze, sticky tables and our table service was very poor. After 25 minutes my husband could see our drinks on the bar and went to collect them himself or we would probably still be waiting for them now

Ordered two drinks on spoons app at 14.21 and paid for them, did not get them until 14.40 and had to collect them from bar after complaining. Worst spoons service I have ever experienced, and I am a big spoons supporter.

Very nice, 6 or 7 times over the yrs when travelling south from Newcastle and the food has always been hot which is rare for spoons. Probably the best spoons I've visited and I've tried a few

Cheap drinks, lots of choice. Great value, not too noisy. Food options were lacking though, as most must've sold out.

Always good service and quick cheap bites in this pub, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming as well.

As 'Soons go this is one of the better ones. They are obviously understaffed - but the workers are always friendly and do a great job of holding it all together. The food comes quickly and is consistent, beer at 80s prices. A tasty Rogan Josh and a pint for £10! Come on!

An average wetherspoons decor wise , the table I had needed a clean and I used the app for the 1st time which went ok apart from getting to the checkout where I was told my drink was unavailable which then didn't seem to give me an option to choose another before checking out so I canceled the order and started again this time with success so the app was a 7/10 but the service was A1 on delivering the drink ordered and the food came very quickly after so brilliant if your short of time .

by far the friendliest “Spoons” in the area with great food and real ale selection. Vanessa is a credit to the company and always smiling despite being run off her feet most of the time ! A++++

Got to say our experience here for lunch was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because Wetherspoons anywhere can be hit and miss, I'm used to seeing tables full of dishes and glasses and old food on the floor and sticky tables. But here I saw one of the staff clearing tables, wiping tables down. Place was tidy. Our paninis and chips were hot and we really enjoyed them, and even got a check back on our food. Our half of ale (cant remember what it was called) was well pulled and not flat!! Went back in the evening for tea, place still looked tidy but there was only one staff member on and there was a que so we left this time. But overall a good experience.

Very nice for a casual meal,we had vegetable chilli and Katsu curry,both were very tasty,drinks were reasonably priced as you would expect in Wetherspoons,speedy service with a smile and great value for money 😊

Won't let me go below 1 star. We went in for breakfast and even if you take the quality of food with a pinch of salt, giving the vegans in our group non vegan butter, had a strop when we pointed out they got the order wrong and forgot one person entirely and if your going to take shots at a customer maybe do it out of ear shot. We were there for breakfast not a rowdy group on a hen night so maybe the utter disdain we were treated with wasn't necessary. Also who denies there is a table 4 .... like it's entire existence not that table 4 put in an order... that the table number 4 doesnt exist on this mortal plane. IT WAS NEXT TO TABLE 3 AND 5 BOTH STRANGLY DO EXIST. While running this by a friend he said he had a curry their once that was OK. May I wish others have his luck instead of ours.

I bought lunch on a busy Saturday lunchtime. I chose a chicken wrap, soup and a coffee. My order was politely taken and all parts of the meal were well prepared and tasted fine. Clearly popular with the locals as the pub was busy. Well done, thank-you.

It's a Weatherspoons and not where we were intending to eat but like many chains they are consistently open and serve all day. Access at the front is up a few steps and the main toilets are upstairs I don't know about other access or facilities. As usual a few tables need clearing. There are plenty of long and short stay carparks nearby. The pub is large and you can order on a screen an app or at the bar. The staff were pleasant and efficient and the menu has quite a range of choice. OK it's not the place for a quiet romantic meal but for a place to get a nice meal it's OK. Now the food , well its brilliant , tasty well cooked can't be faulted. We had a meat and a vegetarian and both felt it was excellent. The price is more than reasonable and drinks are included with a meal.

My order was politely taken and my meal, an all day breakfast was well cooked and tasted fine. A fairly large pub which is nicely laid out and organised and well located in the main street.

The food was nice and fast, but i did witness a not so very observent member of staff who took someone's food back as she thought he left, but his jacket and drink was still there, apart from this it was good.

Managers are really disrespectful when dealing with customers complaints, I witnessed thos event and effect the mood of the evening due to stubbornness of the manager. I would say the food is below average for a wetherspoons.

Good food as you would expect from the chain

Despite none of the tables were tidied the whole time I was there, the soft drink measures less than stated, uncut garlic bread and lack of wrap filling. The staff were pleasant and the chip portions were good.

Personally. I really enjoyed it. They accidentally did spill some fries but they was kind about it. I loved it that much that yesterday after having the chicken nuggets and chips with a side of ketchup really brightend my day and filled me up, so I came again today!

Cheap food and drink just the normal wetherspoon, although lacking in cleanliness, table's left with food and empty plates. Ladies toilets lovely designs but only 2 toilets with toilet roll, little disappointed.

Typical Wetherspoons... slightly out to one side of the town centre, so might be missed by many visitors... Food and drinks as expected. General decor starting to look tired, however some interesting photos and artwork on the walls about the local area. Small beer garden and more space inside than first thought. Staff seemed friendly, ordered via the app with no issues, except not being able to connect to the WiFi and phone signal sketchy...

The so called manager with pink red hair was extremely rude and abrupt would not recommend this place to anyone. Nipped into the beer garden and was told abruptly to leave if our dog wasn’t an assistance dog whilst she was serving a customer sat there with a French bulldog

What can I say, other than its your typical Wetherspoons Sticky tables, dirty glassess all over the place. Could do so much better, but it's cheap .

Basic spoons from what I could see on my fairly brief visit.

Went in for lunch while having a day out in Knaresborough, it was quite busy, most of the tables had been used and were still littered with empty glasses, cups and plates, the empty tables were filthy through lack of cleaning. We ordered 2 burgers, a veggie one which was moderate and an ultimate which came cold with nearly raw bacon, this was sent back and asked to warm, it was returned a few minutes later the buger slightly warmer but the bacon and chips by this time were freezing! Really disappointed with the cleanliness, service and poor quality food. I do realise you get what you pay for but it really was scrapping the barrel, won't be going back there.
