Best coffee in BB, most of the staff very friendly & helpful, homemade cakes & scones very well priced & beautiful. If your just visiting BB i would sugest booking a table as this is a very busy coffee shop. Staff always make a fuss over your dogs & they get treats from auntie Sandra's.

Stopped here for a cup of tea piece of cake to brake our journey northwards, 2;30pm. on a Friday afternoon and we were refused entry even though the seating are was still being used / occupied, and all we could be served were takeaways .... at 2:30pm. That is terrible customer service, we left, as no premises that has customer service like this should receive any custom.

I regularly visit this cafe for my coffee. My usual is a caramel latte. Hands down the best cup of coffee in boroughbridge. I sometimes treat myself to one of their wide selection of cakes and am never disappointed. Very friendly staff and a lovely little cafe!

We popped into here while on holiday for breakfast we both opted for the full English breakfast with a large coffee, food was lovely and we both enjoyed our breakfast. Service was great and where we sat we could see all the lovely cakes and scones on the counter. Would definitely visit again we we go back to boroughbridge.

On a bike ride from Knaresborough to Boroughbridge via the mosaics at Aldborough we had heard good things about Plenty so stopped off for a late lunch. Friendly service and good food. Really nice cortado too. It represented excellent value for money; less than £5 for the hot panini. We’d happily visit again.

The service was an absolute disgrace! The young girls took ages to serve us and then the food took over 20 minutes to come. My food order was incorrect and when it was brought o me the second time, half of it was tipped onto the table with no apology. The bacon (missing first time) was undercooked when I ordered it well done and they were unsympathetic when I asked for well done bacon. We then waited another 20 minutes for my order and I. The end we got up and left. The rest of our group had finished everything and my young son and I still hadn't received our food. There was no apology and I won’t be going again. Very poor service from all young girls involved. You need better management

Visited on Saturday with my daughter. Welcoming experience and lovely food. My daughter was upset whilst we were there, prior to us leaving, the owner sent over a rocky road to cheer my daughter up (she’s 22!). This lovely gesture brought tears to our eyes once more. Will definitely visit again.

Went for a walk on a cold Sunday morning and found this cafe open. Having lived in the area for a few years we have never been in this place but this will definitely be changing in the future. The menu is varied and the homemade cakes looked delicious. The order for a sausage sandwich and a piece of caramel shortbread was taken and we waited outside for the order along with coffee to be brought to us. Very very friendly staff working in there and the prices very good too. Coffee and food delicious - what's not to like!!!

We visited for a coffee on a Monday lunchtime. Lovely authentic cafe, tastefully furnished and comfortable. Coffee lattes were of good quality and reasonably priced. There was a also a good selection of various foods, including catering for gluten free and an ideal pace for lunch. Outdoor seating also available

Our first time at Plenty on our regular bike ride. I have 2 good points and 1 disappointing point to make. The coffee was good as were the cakes, good size and quality, well worth the money. However, we had 1 bacon and 1 bacon and Sausage sandwich on white buns. What led me to post this review, is the answer I received from the chef via the very pleasant young lady working the front. Apologies but, the buns are new and bigger. I assumed, this was why the sandwiches we had, didn’t have “plenty” in them. (See Photo)Yes, that burnt bit on the bacon is a sausage I was confidently advised. I like to support small local businesses and “will” return another day to maybe just have cake.

Popped in for lunch. Lovely friendly service and excellent food. Contrary to a previous review we found it to be extremely well set up, with a screen separating the food preparation area from the body of the cafe, staff in visors, track and trace QR code, tables spaced appropriately and regularly sanitised. If we lived closer it would be a regular haunt.

I visited Boroughbridge to visit the hardware shop to repair my lamp. I stumbled across this lovely place. I can honestly say the best bacon roll ever and the extra special service was rare in this day and age. I was in need of a small screw driver to repair my lamp, and whilst I sat enjoying the best bacon roll, the attentive owner recognised my need and returned with a neat little screwdriver. Wow. Impressed. I will be back.

Me and my partner stopped here for breakfast on the way back from Aldwark Manor, the breakfast stack was lovely! Really nicely presented and a great price too! The cakes looked amazing so naturally we had to take some to leave. The staff were super friendly and the cafe is so quirky and cute, would 10/10 recommend.

Popped in as the place looked very welcoming. So glad we did.Superb coffees (even had oat milk for the excellent flat white) and genuine Yorkshire friendliness from the staff. The place is very comfortable and obviously a lot of pride has gone into creating this cozy cafe. The breakfasts were very nice indeed and really well cooked using local bacon and sausages which is a nice touch. The place was pretty busy for Monday morning too which shows how popular it is.Highly polished and I would go again.Very highly recommended. They also offer a takeaway service so as we left I had a couple of their homemade sausage rolls for later. They were superb! Thanks to the Plenty team.

Popped in for mid-morning cuppa. Excellent service, and very welcoming of our dog. Excellent coffee, first-class buns to go with it. Also, having asked for black coffee, they didn't (Starbucks and Costa please note) DIDN'T ask us if we wanted milk with it. Look forward to going back.

I often call in to Plenty if I fancy lunch, it’s a small cafe but good if you are eating on your own, which I sometimes do. The menu is varied and sandwiches etc come with different side salads. Really good cakes and biscuits as well. Well worth a visit

We came in here for a snack lunch while in Boroughbridge. It is not immediately obvious that you have to order at the counter (we asked others if this was so). When I went to the counter it was a while before my presence there was even acknowledged. While waiting somebody else actually walked out because they had waited too long. When I was served I did get an apology for the wait.

THE best Full English breakfast that I've had in many a year. Well cooked, piping hot, lovely and fresh, Eggs cooked to perfection - always. Never a hard yolk! Lovely split sausages, fantastic bacon and splendid, buttery toast. Excellent value. We've been here several times and never been let down. A definite regular breakfast spot for us.

We wandered into boroughbridge last Saturday morning having spotted Plenty the night before. What a great place to have breakfast! Veggie Stack (mushroom, halloumi, roast cherry tomatoes, poached egg, hash brown, avocado) for Dawn; avocado on toast with poached egg and bacon for me; milkshakes; takeaway Portuguese tart for later. Wow! All perfectly cooked and served with a friendly smile.

Have used Plenty in Thirsk but only for takeout sandwiches. We sat in for lunch in Boroughbridge and were joined by two of the Restaurant dogs lol! We were asked if we minded them being there - not at all. Food was delicious and cakes very nice too. Everything fresh and loved the seating and tables, very rustic. Reasonably priced. We will return.

I thoroughly enjoyed by hot beef and horseradish sub. Wifey had a pulled pork sub, but she really didn't like the hard dry bits hidden amongst the meat. They had lots of nice looking cakes, and wifey succumbed to a couple of cheese scones.

Me and my partner stayed in the area and booked in here for an evening meal last week. What a lovely pub. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Happened to be passing and spotted this lovely cafe so came back with hubby for lunch. Sat inside at a table in the window. Lovely clean and bright decor, staff pleasant and efficient. Not a vast menu yet we found something we liked and enjoyed our lunch, honest prices too. Took some brownies home with us and they were lovely, particularly liked the salted caramel. Great little lunch stop, recommended.
