Flavours Of India in Harrogate

The best Indian food that I have experienced in my 18 years in Yorkshire. The Chicken Naga is the best dish I have ever had and the varki was beautiful too Everything was so flavourful and fresh. My new go to takeaway. Thank you guys 👌 Terry.

First time ordering, very tasty food... Friendly service, and nice welcoming atmosphere whilst waiting for your food. You can also pay by card to. I would highly recommend. Just what the doctor ordered.

We had an overnight stay in our motorhome and was recommended 'Flavours of India' by very helpful caretaker of the carpark/toilets, I'm so grateful for that recommendation! We couldn't fault anything. One of the best Indian takeaways we've had for a long time and we have a lot. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great little find for a takeaway while we were stopping at Waingates Farm Huts. Good quality food and decent sized portions

I recently moved to the area and had my first takeaway from here last night. Their website is excellent, it's so easy to order and pay online which is why I chose it over the other Indian in town. The prices are very competitive too and the portions are generous. Was ready to collect as soon as I arrived and the member of staff was really friendly. Chicken Tikka Masala was very nice and the chicken tasted like good quality- not the awful cubes that alot of takeaways use. Mushroom rice was good and the garlic naan was excellent. Only let down was the Bombay Aloo which was very tasteless and not remotely spicy. I'll certainly be back and would definitely recommend Flavours of India.

Very easy to order via the website (reached via google maps), great range of delicious food, including a lot of veggie options. We’ve been coming here for over 20 years and it is consistently extremely high quality meals, lovely friendly service and an absolute treat.

Cold starter, 20 minutes wait time was 50 minutes, main was bland and uninspired.. Didn't taste like it was made with the freshest ingredients.. I'm being fare, but I won't be going again

Been meaning to leave a review for ages… without a doubt this is the best take away for miles around. The food is soooo tasty and always delivers on quality… Sometimes a bit of a wait during busy periods, but this is a small price to pay for freshly cooked super tasty food. Well done guys!!

Trying not to be too negative, but this was probably the worst attempt at Indian cuisine I've ever come across. Bland, flavourless and not even a hint of heat. I can only describe it as chicken in a tomato sauce with pilau rice that hasn't seen turmeric in its life. Was so bad even in my hunger I had to bin it as being hungry was better than suffering it.

A little shabby and old feeling where you order and wait but the service and food were both very good. This is a takeaway only business but they do have seating whilst waiting for orders. Parking is on the main road which can be busy at times. Food was prepared quickly and was very tasty with good sized portions. I didn't find it expensive either. Would recommend.

As a Brummie where the Balti originated, this was the best Balti I have had since leaving Birmingham. Fab naan as well!!

Was in the area camping so looked up for a local takeaway rather than cook every night. Ordered on line(dead easy) and called to pick up at the time specified when order placed. Everything we ordered was excellent, my only criticism would be that I would have liked mine a little hotter but that's personal preference and would probably have been catered for had I specifically asked. Would certainly recommend and will certainly use again when in the area.

Curry was tasteless. Total waste of money. Went here on my own, ordered curry and naan. Naan was good, curry was awful. Told my partner about it, but the next time he was home alone he tried it for himself and said exactly the same thing. Would go elsewhere.

We were looking forward to a curry haven't had one since moving here in April. Sorry to say did not meet expectations. Chicken was rubbery more like old hen although sauces were just passable.... just. The naan too doughy more like a supermarket naan and the rice dry like it had been sat all day in a pan. Didn't seem to be that fresh to me. We have moved from Bradford the curry capitol of the North so I suppose it was going to be hard for a local place to meet the standard I'm used to. Will have to give the curries a miss.

Food is lovely here and staff friendly also not as expensive as some some places Chicken pakoras about salty tho

Yummy, been there twice and we found it very tasty.chicken Tikka was tender me and curry had great flavor. Huge naan bread and lemon rice had a nice citrus flavor too.

I read the reviews on Tripadvisor as I always do before selecting somewhere to eat at a new location. I read one which criticized the long wait for the food, but opinions of the food itself were high. I too had to wait for the food, but I ordered at the shop and expected to wait. Well cooked Indian food takes longer than Chinese or fish and chips and there are only two staff, so delays would be normal. If you bear this in mind and order earlier than you would normally, it may work out better for you. I have travelled throughout the country and enjoy Indian food and this is equal to the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely fuming placed order online at 6 went to collect as instructed at 730 only to stand waiting for 40 minutes 😤 along with 6 other people garbage will never use again

Absolutely love a takeaway from here. I always have the Chicken Dansak which is delcious, my eldest daughter loves the Chicken Korma and they make up a curry sauce for my youngest which is neither too spicy or too sweet. Always fantastic friendly service over the phone and in person. Generous portions meaning there's always some for the next day :) Perfect.

Love this place when working in the area down sides do not deliver and can be very slow cooking your food. But that aside the food is always beautifull and amazing 👏 so its worth the wait even if a little long to cook a curry.

Not sure where the last reviewer went - this is a takeaway so there is no seating other than a comfy sofa to wait for your order. The food is generally excellent, friendly service and very reasonable prices..... all in all highly recommended.

Perfect food everytime and the BEST service

First time trying this takeaway and certainly won't be the last. Five of us had amazing food. Even with food allergies, I had full confidence I was safe to eat the meal as everything is clearly marked and identified as allergens. Service was impeccable.

A basic supermarket jar would have been better

When 3 of us arrived we were asked whether we had booked. When we said no we were asked if we could go back later. We replied no we were shown to a table in the empty restaurant. Service was good, the menu looked interesting and we ordered. Sadly the food was bland and lacked the interesting flavours normally associated with Indian food. One other couple came in whilst we were there otherwise it was empty. Not an experience to be repeated.

Really nice takeaway and the staff are always friendly

Been using this takeaway for years and always found them very good. Bit disappointed with recent visit. Tarka Dahl mostly just salty and pretty bland, Raita very runny and lacking flavour and Chicken Tikka Masala also bland with loads of very violently coloured sauce but no heat at all. Other dishes- Jalferezi and rice well-flavoured and much more interesting. hope this was just a blip.

I've eaten here twice now. Unfortunately, each time we have had the same issues - incredibly slow service despite ordering in advance, and the food was poor (watery sauces and overcooked, rubbery chicken). We wanted to like it, we really did, but won't be returning.

Just had a takeaway tonight for the family and absolutely fantastic value and taste

Frankly, 1 star is too many. This is the worst Indian food i have ever tasted. I say "tasted" because it was inedible. I love my food so it is exceptional for me to say this. The meat & sag gosht was too salty, had miniscule meat, alot of gristle and a lot of hot curry powder, so there was zero flavour. The lemon rice looked dry, tasted dry & had lumps of lemon pith in it that were disgusting to chew. The nan was so rubbery i wondered if it was a free toy rather than a food item. Chapatti was similar. My fish pakora was limp, of a flannel-like texture and similar flavour, in fact an old flannel now seems an appealing alternative. A particularly horrible meal and a waste of money. I could have bought a ready meal, left it lying around for a few days then thrown it in the bin or opened my wallet to the wind for more enjoyment.

Not for the first time , simply amazed at the service and high standard of food from this takeaway in Boroughbridge . Simply FANTASTIC . Thanks

Love this Indian take away. Best I've ever had. Garlic chicken tikka masala is amazing...ive lived in Leeds and Bradford and thought I had the best Indian food there but nope this is better..and the mint lamb bhunas excellent aswell. Keep up with the good food guys...oh and if you want rid of the sofas just give me a call haha

Me and my wife have been going here for a few months now and wow the food is always amazing and the staff are always friendly. The food is always on time and the prices are really good. I recommend this place the best place to get a good indian. 5☆

Best curry I've had in a long time

Orderd chicken tikka masala, no flavour, chicken was processed, and the sauce texture was like soup, really disappointed !

Simply the best Takeaway in Yorkshire. Believe me, I have tried many but this is the best! Try it for yourself, you will not regret it.

We have used Flavours or India for years and the food and service are second to none. We collected one takeaway which was missing an item but Abdul sorted it out on our next visit. We have tried Indian takeaways in Wetherby, Ripon & Harrogate but we have never found the service, food quality & portion size to match Flavours of India. This is one of the best Indian Takeaways for Service, Quality, Price and Speed. I have been a customer for a few months now and when I'm always feeling like being lazy i give them a call and go and collect my food.

what can i say this is the best place for indian takeaway, been a customer since 2009 and can say food and service has allways been right, freindly staff allways on hand to help in choosing new dishes like peri peri chicken a must have "marinated chicken cooked with peri peri sauce and birds eye chillies" a MUST HAVE!!!. i travel from knaresborough because its simply the best by miles!!....
