Called for Sunday lunch after seeing Facebook pictures. Lovely fresh home cooked food, beef melted in the mouth. Chatty staff who were genuinely interested in making you feel welcome. Regular size plate £10, great value for money. Smaller and larger plates available. We will be back. Thank you.

Food was ok, spicy Lanka piyaza was great. Some curries had unidentifiable cheese but it was not paneer. Man serving us however seemed to really want us out. Not the best customer service

I read on Google is was a good chip shop and we were nearby, so we went for fish and chips. The food was excellent, the haddock was tasty, hot and perfectly battered. The two ladies serving were fantastic, worked together as a team, got the orders done, communicated to each customer and kept the queue flowing. The lady serving was very polite and gave a parting "enjoy the rest of your evening". We will definitely be back when in Withernsea again. Thank you.

Friendly pub with good beer at a very reasonably price.

What a disappointment, we booked for mother's Day family Sunday lunch as we did last year. The food was not the same standard, yet the prices were! We've eaten here many times and would go out of our way to make sure we could. Hence booking for a special occasion was priority and done many weeks ahead. Unfortunately it seems that although being told that the chef was the same person, in my opinion there is no way he would have sent out this 'pub grub' at best. Hopefully they will sort out whatever is the problem soon 😞

Under new management and doing a fantastic job. Had the Sunday lunch sharing platter today and it was utterly fantastic. More than enough for the four of us and very tasty. What a good idea so that everyone gets whatever they want and not having to queue up for a carvery like you are still at school. Don valley brewery beers are also excellent. Will be going again soon

Had the fish special and fish and chips.. absolutely amazing..cooked to perfection with good quality ingredients.. friendly staff and great service... lovely atmosphere

Just had a few pints and had the great oldy traditional pub feeling. Didn't sample the food but menu looks reasonable.

Precioso café que tenía una buena opción en el menú para toda la familia. Personal encantador y no muy caro, cerca de Reighton Sands Haven también si te alojas allí

Had a great lunch here this week. Enjoyed a few cocktails as well which were nice. Price is fair and decor is tasteful. Staff were nice and friendly but maybe could do with some further knowledge on allergens. Will certainly be back

Encantador como siempre - obviamente se mean entrenando a un miembro del personal, ya que el servicio es un poco más lento de lo normal, pero es mejor obtener nuevo personal entrenado antes de que comience la temporada. Desafortunadamente no recibí salsa de chile con mi halloumi y no me di cuenta hasta que llegué a casa. Pero absolutamente delicioso

Lovely old building, quaint Victorian style restaurant, nice atmosphere, but:- 1. very slow amateurish service 2. average quality food 3. top bracket pricing by any standard 4. a discretionary service charge of 12.5% is applied without your discretion Diner beware!

My friends and I all had a delicious lunch. I chose the jacket potato with cajun toasted peppers, jackfuit and hummus and the flavours were amazing. Good value compared to similar places in town, staff are friendly and helpful and there is a nice atmosphere. The ice creams look delicious so we will be back in Summer to try them.

Been 2 times now and have not been disappointed. But the only thing I'd comment about is the Onion Bhaji starter, overcooked and dry. But everything else is spot on. Just remember it's a BYOB restaurant.
