The Alma in East Riding of Yorkshire

Quite quiet when I went in. Bar staff (Only met Garbutt) was nice enough polite. Has a stage so I assume would have some live acts on. There is a carpark if you bring a vehicle. A nice selection of drinks that are available. They have cocktails too I sae on the board. Good prices too.

Abserlutly love this place we had the best nights there the local are lovely and friendly great service great atmosphere and every time we come it gets better I would highly recommend you give it a try amazing

Cracking bar, especially in Summer when you can sit outside in the sunshine. They have an outdoor area for acts to perform too. Friendly and good prices.

I go for the quiz and Karaoke (which is excellently run by Sue the DJ) always friendly good beer and good service.

The Alma is a nice traditional street corner community pub. There is a wide choice of beers lager and cider on offer, including three cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. The real ale was excellent when we called in. There is a stage for live music, a nice conservatory, and a large outside seating area. Dog friendly.

The bar staff are great but if you want to be included in entertainment you better be a regular..the regulars get put ahead of everyone. Its atrocious. You're not allowed to be included if you're not known. Service behind bar is good and atmosphere good

No food served kitchen closed until further notice. Cocktails advertised on the chalk board but someone asked for a Strawberry Dakari and was told no they couldn't make one.

Solid pub. Landladies are lovely. I swear it really was Dolly Parton on the stage a couple weeks back. Beer is well kept. Dog friendly. Happy days.

A bit rough and ready , no frills, but perfectly clean. Smashing quality beer and the friendliest place you'll find anywhere. I'd recommend it any time if you want a nice pint in a friendly place.

Went in on Thursday, lively place, great staff I only saw one lady & she was singing & smiling to the "Karaoke " we sat in the conservatory due to weather but on a sunny day there is a beer garden, will be going back

Had Sunday Lunch at The Alma for the first time today - excellent food, good atmosphere and very helpful and accommodating staff. The beef was particularly great - very tender and went well with the lovely gravy. The best we've had in Withernsea and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

Went in for a Sunday lunch its was well worth the price plenty off meat and loads off veg plus is a good atmosphere and have singer on good night out

Proper old school pub. Loved it. Don't find many nowadays

Good traditional pub serving a variety of beers, lagers and spirits. Now serves food, personally I have not tried the food but locals who have tried the cuisine say it is good. I will be going some. UPDATED!!! I have eaten there a few times and the meals are tasty and not too expensive

Went with family, as I had kids with me i was moved into the cold conservatory on a cold rainy day, not very welcoming if your not a local resident. Will not be visiting here again. Do not recommend this place

Another good night in the Alma. Fantastic group, the singer was so funny! Lots of Beatles songs and rock n'roll. Didn't win at bingo this time 😒 but the fab songs from the band and the lovely atmosphere made up for it 😉 (plus the g & t's 🙃). x

Great karaoke on Thurs from 4pm and they now serve food good seaside feeling in the beer garden worth a visit

The Alma is very clean, staff very friendly make you feel part of the family. Meals are excellent great value for money( and portions excellent). Family run. Will definitely return for maybe breakfast.

Sunday dinner was very nice I had the brocoli and cheese bake and my wife had the tradition Sunday dinner. The staff were excellent and we will definitely be back for more. Lisa the boss it now tempting us with dessert, Eaton mess and lemon meringue with ice-cream it is then. A very big thank you to all the staff and see you again soon.

Excellent and well run pub. Always welcoming and Lisa, John and all the staff make it a pleasure to be there. All the entertainment is first class and a good mixture of theme nights. It's the only pub I go to because I feel at home there and safe. I cant wait for it to open again, feels like family.

Quite a nice pub, observing all the restrictions. Used to be a really cheap locals pub and a favourite calling place but the landlady retired last year and the new management has brought all the prices in line with the more trendy bars.

What a gem, lovely pub, good selection of reasonably priced beers. Friendly staff and regulars. Early evening was quiet, able to talk without having to raise my voice. Live music is a regular attraction.
