Great pub, nice decor and atmosphere, lovely Sunday lunch at reasonable prices, well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Our second time eating here and both have been faultless. This time we had the Sunday Lunch Platter and it was fantastic. Pork, Chicken, Beef, Roasties, Mash, Stuffing, Carrots, Parsnips, Brocolli, Yorkies, Creamy Leeks/Bacon, Gravy and sauces…..Really good portions and every bit of it tasted amazing. Great choice of beers, lovely place and the staff are very welcoming and friendly too. We’ll be back!!!

Good cask ale, cider, larger and wine. Food menu, plus wine list. Cosy pub with friendly staff. Also function Room, games room and lounge. Good for meetings and events. Excellent outside area with seating. Occasional live music also a Book Club, Quiz, Spanish Lessons and French Lessons, plus other events.

OK. If I could give it 42 **** for the dinner I would. Wow. It was almost... perfect. Now, I love roast potatoes, and these were so good, could have cooked every spud in farmer Giles' field down the road, and it wouldn't have been enough!! Everything was great. The veg was perfect, the meat,divine.... and the Yorkshire puds could win awards. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and there wasn't much left, not even the generous amount of sweet tasting carrots and cauli cheese. Yes, I put on 3 stone in just one meal, and nearly had to be taxi'd to my car by Farmer Giles' trusty old tractor.

Really Nice pub with good food and service. Waitress seemed new but handled it! Would visit again.

WOW ! What a find. My friend and I went for lunch today. We had booked but it wasn't too busy, perhaps due to the weather ☀ A warm welcome and seated I a cool corner!!! We chose a mixed platter for 2. Absolutely delicious. Don't go if you're on a diet 😂 All veg cooked Al dente just the way I like it. Huge Yorkshire pudding, 4 meats - rare beef, gammon, chicken and pork. Yummy roast/baked potatoes, creamy, Buttery mash, cabbage, cauli, broccoli in creamy cheese sauce, carrots, roast parsnips and parsnip crisps all smothered in a rich meaty gravy. Even after we'd eaten there was a full meal - minus the Yorkshire - to be boxed up and brought home for the hubby 😀 £30 for 2. Excellent value for money. Outside the courtyard is being renovated and they even have a doggy bar offering fresh water from a keg and a buffet of treats and biscuits - a lovely touch 🐾

Fantastic Sunday lunch. The beef was cooked perfectly and the meal so nicely presented on a serving board to help yourself. Will definitely return.

This pub has been lovingly refurbished by its owners, Speakeasy Co Ltd, who also own Don Valley Brewery and other pubs in Doncaster and Sheffield. Called in recently on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink and left about 2hrs later. The fire was welcoming on a cool afternoon. Real ale OK as well. Light snacks available. Snaith is lucky to have so many good pubs.

Beautiful place, great choice of craft beers and Madri, excellent wine selection and regular themed events, best pub for miles.

A very nice pub with a good selection of ales. The only pub in the village that sold decent cider (not strongbow). Had a lovely cosy feel.

Nice pub Friendly staff and a good Sunday lunchtime atmosphere with a DJ on a Sunday rather than piped music. Musical chairs did ensue because they had a run of 8 chairs four tables and no gaps to get in on the bench seats.

What an amazing place. The outside area is fantastic with a darts room attached, upstairs veranda to soak up the evening sun and 2 inside bars . Friendly,helpful staff.

The ginger manager has a great rack. And her husband is a great drummer. It's an honour to know them

The Plough is my absolute favourite pub in Snaith. Nice, relaxed atmosphere with a great selection of beers. The Wednesday night quiz is a really good laugh and in summer there is no better place to be than in their great beer garden.

Absolutely fantastic Family pub my friends and family have been in nearly every weekend since the New Management have taken over the atmosphere is fantastic live music the lot. I ask that you try not to believe the negative reviews that have been maliciously posted and that if you are passing this lovely traditional local pub please just call in and sample the fine ales available and the fantastic hospitality. If you are local to the Plough Inn Snaith. You will no just what I am talking about 👍

Great welcoming pub! The staff are working hard to provide an excellent hub for the community! They have excellent facilities. Including a great private pool room and darts room!

A cracking pub with a fantastic selection of drinks, the staff and service were excellent. So welcoming and friendly, great atmosphere and music. Delicious food and they had a gluten free option for coeliacs.

Unfortunately it’s gone downhill the past few weeks as the new manageress seems determined to ruin a nice pub with her bad temper, poor management skills and the inability to reorder new stock I won't be revisiting the Plough again until she has gone. Also the pub is a Free house but seems obsessed with selling Don Valley Brewery beers which at best are mediocre (but in reality are really really poor) in short Speakeasy (the owners) need to stop messing about replace the manageress and sort this mess out as it discredits an otherwise great pub.

Jeez if ever a person shouldn't be allowed near the public then the current manager is it! She is appalling, bad tempered, no manners, rude and clearly out of her depth. The Plough is best avoided at all costs which is a shame as it used to be great until recently.

I was rather shook with the way I was treated by the new manager as she came across rude and made me feel uncomfortable when I’m the one paying her wages with them £9 Gin

Me and my friends regularly come to this pub and new management have taken over as of 2 weeks ago. I couldn’t believe how badly we were treated. Never have I ever known ruder staff/management. I am really disappointed and we will not be spending a penny here again as it is absolutely disgusting, genuinely shocked and upset. Avoid here at all costs unless you want to be spoken to like dirt on their shoes.

Up until a few weeks ago, this pub was decent, but the new management are foul to customers, I won't be coming in here again. They need to get Jake back, would get a lot more business.....well I say that, but the prices have gone through the roof aswell.

The way me and my friends were spoken to last night was absolutely diabolical. We used to speak very highly of this pub when previous management was in. I asked at the bar maid with red/auburn hair what gin selection they had she said look behind me in a rude manner. When I finally chose what gin I wanted I was absolutely gobsmacked that the drink prices have near enough doubled. She charged me £9.70 for a double gin and tonic. This is absolutely outrageous. I’m so disheartened we absolutely loved going there as they have a pool room and a great beer garden but we won’t be returning until the management changes, which probably won’t be long because the staff turnover is terrible. Snaith is a lovely and friendly area where you usually feel welcome in all the pubs. Not this one anymore. So disappointing

Always loved coming here but ever since the new management have come in prices have practically doubled and the reception has just been awful. Myself and friends have been spoken to like pieces of dirt and made to feel really unwelcome. Won’t be visiting again, which is a shame as the pub has so much to offer. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. We used to spend our Friday nights in there now because of this they have lost a group of over 10+ people visiting. Good luck with business because that customer service will repel people. Especially a place like Snaith

I think it was the manager with glasses, but she needs the sack, really rude. This place was 10/10 when Jake had it.

Can't give it no stars...after a walk thought it might be a good place to stop. The staff were incredibly rude and just left us standing there waiting to be served whilst they had a conversation...then there were no beers that we wanted...and the food was burnt to a crisp...the pie was covered in gravy to conceal the solid black exterior and the "salsa" on the nachos was ketchup...avoid at all costs.

Unfriendly, referring to united fans as scum and couldn't cook a pizza if their life depended on it, it's cheese and tomato not tomato and cheese, scum for charging money for that..

BRILLIANT hosts just a shame Punch Taverns has ousted yet another good landlady for self profit no regard for history and local welfare. 100s of years but punch taverns dont care...beware anyone who is employed by them!!

What can I say about this pub .. Chris she is the nicest person uou will ever met amazing big heart . Her partner David is a real nice guy .. The service is 2nd to none Food is home style cooking at its best . Friendly .

We have met a couple of times at The Plough. Welcoming staff and superb food. Outside beer garden nicely kept. Very reasonably priced. You feel that the staff work well as a team and take real pride in the cooking and they go the extra mile to make this a pleasant experience. Well worth returning to.
