Absolutamente horrible. Estábamos aquí en una función privada que incluía una comida pre-ordenada de 3 platos. 12:30 llegamos allí para servir a la 1 pm. Starter llegó a la 1. 20 pm El personal tardó 28 minutos en despejar a los titulares. Una espera de 38 minutos para el plato principal, no vale la pena esperar! Salmón horneado duro Espléndidos spuds asados Vegetales, menos y zanahorias (imaginativo) y repollo unido al agua Mi esposa pidió una salsa para el salmón sólo para traer un poco de mantequilla derretida. Nunca he visto tanta comida desperdiciada después de un plato principal. Pudín no mucho mejor, natillas mejor usadas para pegar papel pintado Me sentí avergonzado por los organizadores. Nunca volveremos a ir allí

Atmosphere you could cut with a knife. Moody woman who seemed to be in chargeof the garden centre shouting at some customers! Escaped to the cafe only for the atmosphere to be also present there. The staff were very quiet when shouty manager came in with a angry face. The food we had was cold and the staff distracted. It was clean and tidy but not comfortable because of management

Pub is very run down and no longer serves food which it was once renown for. Not very welcoming Only open Thursday to Sunday.

It was a dreadful night, stormy and pouring down. We arrived after an horrendous drive, the welcome was warm, lovely food and warm atmosphere and the wine was fabulous. My only disappointment was the desserts I'm sure they were lovely but very traditional, I prefer something a little lighter. Lovely young man behind the bar. Thanks to all.

Attended a display and thought the premises rather basic for a showground which hosts major events.

Extremely disappointed with the decision to charge guests the £10.50 for garden entry even if they only want to visit the cafe. A rethink of the placement of the ticket office is very necessary.

I had a lovely meal in the cafe, luckily sitting near a heater as it was colder in the garden centre than outside. I wanted to look around but had to leave as it was freezing

First visit after dog walking on beach lovely spot looked nice and clean food was ok but served in bag and takeaway cups not massive issue but the staff jesus there in the wrong game in hospitality you need a smile and a few welcoming words with some pleasantries I gave a reluctant very generous 4 star need to up your game and not just take customers for granted without them you're jobless.

In my 64 years I have been to many Chinese restaurants and Chinese takeaways - including in China! This was one of the best. We called en spec on our way home one Friday evening. The food was excellent, particularly the honey roast pork. We had plenty left for a take home for the next day. We will try the set menu next time. Also the background music was very much to our taste, 1970s mix!

Attractive looking pub. Visited for the set Xmas menu. Friendly staff, temp manageress and young female server, both attentive. Starters and mains all nicely presented and tasty. Too full for desserts so they boxed them up to take home. Good value for money.

Valentines meal very good value for 3 courses. Suzie was very welcoming especially as we arrived 15 minutes later for our booking. Nothing too much trouble will be recommending this lovely pub to family and friends.

This was a poor experience. Granted, we had a nice welcome and the place initially looked clean and inviting. The drinks came and the garlic mushroom starter which were lovely, and at that point we thought we was on to a winner. However, the main was disgusting. Two of us ordered the same pie main, and yet the pies were completely different, one was square and one was rectangle! The mash was disgusting, I accept some lumps, but I don’t accept raw boulders of potato in it. The veg was microwaved to an inch of its life and was served drowning in water. The other main, steak and salad with all the trimmings, was I am sure, braising steak; it was like chewing an old boot. The onion rings that were meant to be on the plate didn’t make an appearance! The chips were like the steak only not as tough. We decided to give to puds a miss. Went to the loo before leaving, the gents were disgusting, most of the previous meals were left around the toilet bowl!! And it stunk. Finally went to pay and the card machine wasn’t plugged in or charged…after a while he got it going and asked me how much was the bill. I was honest and told him the correct amount, In hindsight I should of knocked some off! We won’t be returning but kudos to the young lad serving with the little ear studd, he was working hard, was pleasant and professional, I don’t think him alone will stop this ship from sinking!
