We had an impromptu trip over the bridge to our favourite cafe and had a lovely meal, chats and strokes with doggies. 🐶 The food was delicious as always. 😋 The great thing is that you can pick up your zero waste essentials whilst visiting. I bought some more upcircle night cream (made from used coffee grounds and in a refillable glass pot with a metal lid). 🙌🙌 I don’t know how they get so many products in 1 fairly small shop but they are geniuses! There’s so much to look at (and buy) to take home and lots of choices on the menu to eat in. Love it love it love it

Fabulous food as always and very generous portions … excellent service

We had lunch here for the first time a while ago, it was quite nice, we were seated next to a window & enjoyed looking at the people & trains on the station platform. We paid a return visit yesterday & pre-booked afternoon tea for 2 @ £22:50 each = £45:00 what a ripoff that was… We each had 3 finger sized sandwich’s, a very small slice of quiche, a bite sized slice of sausage roll & salad leaves. A small scone filled with jam/cream, a shot glass with compote, a small dry finger sponge cake & a chocolate heart cake, unlimited tea or coffee…. plenty of cakes but the savoury plate left a lot to be desired !!! Our table this time was at the very bottom of the café next to the store cupboard & toilet! Which unfortunately a lot of customers after using the toilet didn’t bother closing the door 💩😷 We felt like toilet attendants because we had to keep closing the door! And we lost count of how many times different staff members where in/out of the store cupboard with the door opening next to my chair.

It’s really good the pak box is banging and would definitely go again and would recommend it’s for a good price and a nice treat

I like Hallgate, perhaps more than any other pub in Cottingham. The long layout offers ample seating, even on the busiest days. You get different atmospheres depending on where you're sat, some areas are private and ideal for one on one conversation; some are wide open and great for big groups. It's an all purpose pub I can imagine gigs taking place within, as well as the football being shown on the big screen projector. Bar staff have always been helpful and beer selection isn't bad (try the Sunbeam).

Had lovely food and great staff too, Finley was amazing with our table was there to help loads and very friendly!

We are currently at pasco's King William in Hull having a blast with bottomless brunch! Staff are friendly and welcoming, atmosphere is great and DJ had some great music. Will be coming again soon!!

Came in for a quick snack, ordered a small haddock and chips which were perfect for the price, decent sized portion and very yummy. Had some mushy peas with it which were very green but tasted very good.

Different places make the coffee stronger and this is one of them. Still enjoyed but prefer other outlets

What a terrible experience first of all 5 minutes to get seated the twenty minute wait for one can of Fanta then another 10 minute wait for hot coffee we ordered 3 ham and cheese panini and had to wait 1 hour to arrive the another 5 minute wait for fries and the quality of the food was terrible for 21.80 all together NOT worth it

Staff attitude shocking. Can not understand what you are asking. Need repeat few times. Then they getting angry and frustrated. There was costumer colecting her order. But they sended for dellivery, instead instead of"sory" was arguing with her and telling her she ordered delivery. My chicken kebab.... i need it thraw away, chicken burned, salad... few peaces of lettuce, cucumber with pealed of skin. What make me think it is old. Few onion and peace of tomato with peper. Portion so small for more than 7£. And was not possible to ate. Stay away from this place.

Me and my friend went to this Costa to do some work (for university), we usually come her quite often, get a coffee and revise and everything is great however our experience today was awful. We went to put our stuff down at a table before getting coffees when a member of staff came up to us shouting saying we need to buy drinks even though we said we were in a minute. Then we went to order a coffee the menu was in a small font so my friend used there camera to zoom in and read however members of staff started shouting at us even when we showed them we was just trying to read the menu they told us we weren't allowed to do this, safe to say we didn't stay here to do our work nor do we order any coffees and we will not be returning. Utterly appalling customer service and something that should certainly be addressed.

Had a lovely family meal last week. All the food was lovely couldnt fault it great service off the staff think our lady was called Judy she was so warm and friendly explaining every thing to us about getting our meals my granddaughter was really happy with her pudding as well thank you see you again soon

My food was hot on time and great presentation, my drink was also ice cold on delivery would one hundred percent recommend my delivery driver.
