The best restaurants in Luddendenfoot Calderdale Yorkshire and The Humber

Today we visited for lunch, made to feel welcome as soon as walked through the door. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, fantastic food, we had shepherd's pie and Mac and Cheese with bacon. Great selection of drinks and a very very good food selection

Amazing food (insane portion sizes nearly killed us), super lovely place love going in for a drink but finally tried the food tonight and it was so good and such a decent price !! great atmosphere and incredible local

Called in for Sunday breakfast. Hidden away, but very convenient if you are walking or cycling along the canal. We had the “small” breakfast, which was delicious and filling and served by friendly staff. Well worth a visit !

Was staying at a friend's in Pecker Well, by hebden, I'm from Liverpool. She recommended here, so drove down. Lovely friendly guy. And was not disappointed, the food was excellent , we ordered the usual starters and two veggie meals , food was excellent and plenty of it. Would highly recommend. Be there again in next visit.

Always good service and lovely food with great prices and varied choice. The staff here will go t(e extra mile.

Great grub at reasonable prices and great cask ales

Edit: If you cannot take cards because of the cost, maybe consider in-house bank transfers like Hiuman do in Hebden Bridge. A LOT better than it was. New owners are doing a great job. Tad more expensive than Hebden Bridge but closer to home. Curry is lovely now. Shop nice and clean. Free prawn crackers for your loyal customers please, like other places do.

Amazing food very yummy and fast delivery

The food is excellent and the staff are very nice. I Will definitely visit more often. We shared the mixed kebab and there was still some left over!

Brilliant kebab sweet chilli sauce was nice , the donner meat was spot on and the bread and vegetables were nice and soft .

Rude staff but in in particular. It made me smile when I read the review someone left describing the man with glasses and gel on his hair ( grey). He is so unprofessional and I unpleasant. Bought a chicken at the butchers for just over £15 and it was practically thrown over the counter. A lot of the items are unpriced and available in the supermarket at a more competitive price. Would love to support local businesses like this I was going to enquire about the fruit and veg box scheme but the guy we encountered made me want to look elsewhere. As the previous person said he needs sacking.

Had a day out in Hebden bridge with the dog. Came to this pub on the way home. Really nice food. Great service and good atmosphere. I had the chicken & leek pie, really nice and so filling too. 100% recommended and will come back. Dog friendly

Beautiful location for this pub, friendly service. Nice beer, clean loo’s. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny afternoon. - parasols or some shade would have been useful? It is set on its own, in a little dell you sense the history and quaint atmosphere of the place. We enjoyed a couple of beers before the sun got too hot, maybe take a hat? Well kept enclosed beer garden, with well spaced out seating.
