Lovely wee place for breakfast with good veggie options, and very reasonably priced.

Great selection of food and fantastic value for money. Staff are friendly and offer a fast service. The coffee is excellent and I can't fault the breakfasts! You'll always be met with a smile and a friendly hello 🙂

Service was absolutely fine and welcoming however the quality of the food was shocking, we ordered 3 breakfasts which were burnt and cold somehow which I’ve never seen before, I think they’ve used day old produce warmed up in a microwave, I normally wouldn’t complain but when you’re paying £10 for a breakfast and a coffee you expect half decent food or at least fresh

I went Jo's Cafe this morning after a lovely walk from Luddenden down the Canal toward Hebden Bridge ... it was open bright and early 8.30am (Winner) and the full English was just what I needed. The local Farmer turned up while I was there with Milk and Eggs (very traditional) the regulars visited (always a good sign) the staff were lovely (one was named Emily) I would highly recommend. What a great place.

Very disappointed today at Jo’s. Been here a couple of times now and never really had a good experience but today was on another level. Ordered pancakes, bacon and syrup. Got it and the pancakes were stone cold. Quietly called the staff over to complain and sent my food back. Sat listening and the staff were not happy I sent it back. Very disappointed that all they did were throw it in the microwave and bring it back. Really bad customer service and food. Not good at all

Always call in after canal walk from Hebden Bridge to Mytholmroyd. Never disappointed by food and drink supplied by friendly staff.

Noticed Jo’s Kitchen whilst driving past this Sunday & doubled back and parked (for free) across the road. Food was excellent as was the service. My only gripe was the cost. We ordered the below which cost £26.50. Pot of tea for 1 1 x Hot Beef & Onion Sandwich 1 x Pancake stake with Syrup 1 x Pancake stake with Ice Cream and then when leaving for take out we had a Flap Jack and Cherry with Coconut Cake. I appreciate the prices are on the menu and I should have paid more attention- The Beef S/W was advertised at £4.50 and I just assumed everything else would be commensurate. People’s budgets are different but, I’m feel very comfortable saying £26.50 is way to much for what we ordered.

Our first time visiting and walked in to a cheerful warm greeting. Food was freshly cooked for us, but didn't take long. We only had beans on toast and some pancakes, but they were nicely cooked and good value for money. It's only a small place but it had a steady stream of customers while we were there. Free parking directly opposite, which was handy. If we're in the town again, we'd definitely go back.

Great staff. Large varied menu to suit all. I love the bacon, egg and mushroom sandwiches along with an earl grey. But can also be tempted by the bacon and sausage LOL

What a lovely little place. Jo was also very lovely to the kids I was looking after, giving them colouring in etc.

Lovely place friendly and warm people AND it does the best chicken salad sandwich ever!!! Good bread not too big, not soft and pappy, pieces of chicken not thin slices of reformed rubbish. Great salad and I love beetroot so win win!! I actually think it’s the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had as a takeaway!! Excellent.

Really should move that sign that is obstructing the pavement. Worse still it's on the kerbside. Reported to Calderdale Council but they are rubbish too.

We'd thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches, cake and drinks. I left my phone in the cafe. The proprietor walked ALL THE WAY TO THE RAILWAY STATION (!!) to return it to me. How good is that!

Pleasant staff. Food and coffee was very nice, good selection.

I was welcomed and felt totally at ease. Only had a hot chocolate but it tasted wonderful. Loved this place, the staff and atmosphere.

Absolutely fuming Bought 2 sandwiches and 2 hot drinks to take away both the sandwiches were ok but the drinks were appalling the cups were not fit for purpose. Scalded myself as neither of the lids fit the cups and the paper cups literally fell apart an ruined my mornings paperwork . For the price you should at least provide a decent cup fir your hot beverages before Somebody files a claim against you . I will not be using this place again

Just been in with a yen for breakfast. 4 customers in there..1 eating and 3 guys waiting for sandwiches. Not even an acknowledgement I was there. Waited patiently and took a seat. Another guy comes in and gets a cheery hello and I'll be with you in a minute. She then takes his order. I left..no query as to why I was going although she watched me. Last time I and family will be spending in there.

September 2022: after walking to Mytholomroyd from Littleborough (20km), Archie and I needed a short rest before carrying on to Sowerby Bridge (27km). Friendly service, reasonabky priced and dog friendly. I had a coffee mocha and a crispy bacon butty. Archie had a bowl of water! We sat outside, recharged our batteries then carried on our walk.

We are regular weekend visitors here due to the friendly staff and great breakfasts!

What a lovely place and staff were lovely. The breakfast was good quality and well presented.

We took friends to Jo's Kitchen today and had a lovely meal,the staff are so lovely and even reserved a table for us, we live in the wonderful village of Mytholmroyd but friends live in Manchester and they are so looking forward to return and It's Jo's Kitchen for breakfast,thank you all.

Jo's Kitchen is a lovely gem overlooking the river in the heart of Calder Valley. The staff within are amazing, friendly, professional and wonderful to interact with. Although always busy, they manage to get out their scrumptiously delicious food to you in an extremely timely manner. Even if there is a wait, it's well worth it. We also purchase lunch for our clients, and their feedback is always fantastic.

Went to get lunch today . Was only 11.30am so not the busiest time . Only ordered 2 sandwiches , got home to find one was wrong no salad . Returned to find 2 other people saying there order was wrong . Got back the second time and my partners was stone cold and mine wasn’t great really bland I would have been better with a pre-packed . It’s def gone downhill won’t be returning as this happened last time but gave it a second chance .

not good considering the price £6 for a breakfast that does not include coffee thats £2 extra cold hard toast burnt fatty bacon no sausage tomatos mushrooms and beans ok but staff nice but will not be going again

Wow - the most incredible caramel brownie - i was so lucky to arrive an hour after it had been baked....all I can say is absolutely delicious. I shared with my hubby who was equally blown away - staff are always lovely and friendly a definite spot for lunch/breakfast - everything we have eaten here is great

After hiking over the moors I dropped into Mytholmroyd, hoping to find a cafe to get a drink of tea. I found Jo's near the river bridge, entering I immediately felt relaxed and chose from the blackboard and took a seat. After a sandwich and tea, I could not resist a slice of cake, which was gorgeous (their own new recipe). This will be my stopping off point when next in Mytholmroyd. Thank you to the staff for the great service.

I dont no what has happened to this pretty little place over the years but the breakfast we had was mostly burnt, very sad its over priced and the food isnt worth it, your better of cooking your own at home, or taking a small trip to morrisons still best brekies in my mind, 3 staff is over kill just get 1 that can actualy cook a sausage and ul already be doing way better than the sticky tables and burnt food we recieved, we wont be returning again such a shame as iv been going in hear since i was a little boy.

Had a 2mile walk down the canal from Mythomlroyd, and back through the woods and past the station. Heading back to the car, and came across Jo's Kitchen. You give your order at the door, pay food and drinks follow. Walked back to the car and had a pleasant lunch in the car. The food was very nice and tasty.

Friendly with good homemade food. No skimping on the fillings for the sandwiches. Really enjoy calling in for a bacon sandwich

What a find.I had a delicious bacon and tomato sandwich and superb cup of coffee. Reasonably priced in a very good position in Mytholmroyd. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Strongly recommend any cyclist or walker to stop off here. You won't be disappointed.

Well placed, excellent value cafe serving unfussy, good quality menu in the centre of Mytholmroyd. We had a perfect bacon & fried egg sandwich (big fresh rolls) and very good quality coffee with friends last Sunday morning. Lovely friendly service from young efficient staff.
